Eagle Family Medicine @ Guilford College

Have been with this facility since 2005 and have never experienced any issue and Dr Ross and his nurses have always been like family to me and have always treated me as such. I thank them for the services that they have given to me. Great facility.

This was my first visit and I am very impressed. The nurse practitioner Stephanie Matthews is very helpful, very caring and very respectful.
She listened very carefully to my health issues and came up with great solutions.
The staff are excellent, very professional and very courteous.

This is the best Eagle office I have found, after having terrible experiences at 2 others.

My husband is a patient of Andy Brake, MSN, FNP-BC. Prior to being a patient of Andy, Dr. Kevin Little was my husband’s physician for several years until Dr. Little retired.

My husband and I both feel that Andy is genuinely concerned, devoted, and committed to his patients well-being. He has always been attentive to any issues my husband has had.

My husband had an appointment with Andy recently and we discussed some health concerns that my husband is having. Andy was very attentive and supportive regarding these concerns.

We are both grateful and thankful that Andy is so dedicated and caring. Andy’s demeanor is very friendly and pleasant which helps relax my husband’s anxiety. We both hope that Andy will be a provider at Eagle Family Medicine At Guilford College for a long time. We feel that Eagle is fortunate to have Andy Brake as a medical provider for their office.

The receptionists at the front desk are welcoming and always make sure our information is up to date in their systems.

Anytime my husband has called the office to make an appointment, his call is answered within a few rings. Any appointments that needed to be made were set up within a reasonable timeframe.

One thing we like about this office is that there is a separate waiting area for patients that may be running a fever or are very sick and may have a contagious illness. This separation helps reduce the possibility of patients that aren’t necessarily sick of catching something while sitting in the waiting area.

Andy Brake very well may have saved me! He was so thorough and and kind and quickly helped me determine that I may have something serious going on (that I almost dismissed) and within hours I was having emergency surgery thanks to his diligence! Very appreciative of Mr. Brake and the staff at Eagle including my primary care Dr. McNeill.

The nurse who obtained my vitals was also very kind and reassuring. My visit began to change from fear to fine as soon as she began to talk with me. The physician who tended my concern was very kind and very witty :) His humor helped me to calm down and to begin relaxing. I left the facility feeling much better than I had when I arrived. The front desk staff member who assisted my son and I was also very kind and reassuring. If I have to be seen again after 5 pm, I will definitely visit the Eagle Walk-in Clinic at Guilford College again :) I hope the other physicians, nurses, and staff members will be just as helpful and concerning when I or a family member has to been seen in the future. Thank you :)

Walked in on a Saturday mid-morning expecting a long wait but was delighted to learn that there was only one person waiting ahead of me. Once I got back into the treatment area I was shown to a room quickly. The wait time in the examination room was longer than I expected but not overly so. The doctor was very professional and efficient. She seemed genuinely interested in my issue and quickly created a treatment plan. A few moments later I was out the door and on my way home. As enjoyable as a visit to the doctor can be.

Great experience. Nurse practitioner took her time discussing my concerns. I was listened to and received great advice which I'm following and seeing positive results. Her nurse and the staff in the front office are awesome also. Highly recommend and I'm someone who has anxiety when seeing a doctor.

They are very friendly and professional. I hate I wasn't aware of there new locations and hours.

Dr. Wong has been my primary care physician for about 20 years! I wouldn’t trade him for anybody else! Always have had an excellent working relationship with him. Likewise, each of his nurses were always good to work with.

Can't speak highly enough about this practice. I dislike the phone system, but the people are amazing. Appointments scheduled the next day every time I've called. NEVER a rushed appt. 30-45 minutes spent discussing all issues in depth, asking me for side effect input, giving me a part in the medication choosing process. I just feel like I am part of a team and not a patient beneath a high-minded doctor, which can happen and spoils any relationship. I want to know my doctor and feel they know me and really understand my problem with empathy. I feel that at this practice. And the results so far have been phenomenal. I've never had so much of a positive life change made by so little adjustment in so little time. I am beyond impressed and confident trusting my health to this practice going forward.

I am very happy with Courtney and will continue to see her. She takes the time to listen to any concerns and has very good doctor to patient communication. She makes me feel like she really cares about me and my issues. She is the best and I would recommend her to anyone.

I love this office. I love all the front desk staff, that includes the ladies that check us out. The wait time once I was brought into the room that wait time was a little long, 35 minutes, and I had my 5 year old with me;so it felt like an hour. But the Dr was awesome and knew her stuff.

Walk in clinic - I have always found top quality, caring doctors. Very pleased with thoroughness and treatment. Sometimes a bit of a wait before I actually get to see the doctor, but that's the nature of a walk in clinic. Front reception could be friendlier or more inviting, but they are busy and I am not there to make friends. They get the job done. Very pleased with my experiences!

Courtney Wharton is very pleasant to deal with and is obviously knowledgeable in her profession.
She is always happy to talk about issues & concerns without making you feel like she's trying to rush you out the door to move on to the next patient.

Courtney Wharton is very personable and always seems to put in extra time during my visits to answer any questions and thoroughly explains any medical concerns I have. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a new physician! I leave the office knowing I’ve been well taken care of.

Although Dr. Ross is not my primary physician at Eagle Guilford, he has been my doctor on several visits over the past 25 or so years... as long as he has been there. He is always impressive with his medical knowledge, but more than that, he has a GREAT "bed side manner" you might say. He cares for his patients... a genuine caring spirit for his patients. I respect him very much as a doctor. I might also add that my family and I came to Greensboro in the fall of 1984 (I think.) We immediately sought out a doctor's office when our 3 year old was sick and someone told us about Guilford College. We have been here ever since. I am grateful for the service that they have shown to myself, my wife and 3 children.

The office staff were all very nice. It was easy to make an appointment and to checkin.

The nurses were nice. Dr. Brake is very friendly and attentive. He has a great rapport and seems to care about his patients. I would definitely recommend Dr. Brake.

I was a little nervous going to see a new doctor since I havent been to a doctor in years. Dr. Andy made me feel comfortable and I like his sense of humour. His nurse Kathy was so friendly and nice. Really everyone was so friendly and nice. I am glad I chosed this practice.
