This practice is wonderful. I’m a new patient and I can feel them slowly easing years of anxiety built up. Everyone you encounter is friendly and happy to be there doing their job, which in today’s world can be truly hard to find. I’m very thankful to have researched and listened to the great reviews on Dr. Abell and her practice and chose her as my dentist. No judgement, just compassionate care. If you’re behind on dental care and are worried, she’s your doctor.

First time at this practice. Very impressed. Everyone was very friendly and professional from the admin at the front desk, to the hygienist, to the dentist. I felt I was in the best hands and the most important person in the room. Thank you everyone at HPD!

This is without a doubt the best Dentist and Dental office I have ever experienced. Dr. Abell is kind, compassionate, empathetic and quite frankly, brilliant. Her staff are all wonderful too. I can’t say enough about this practice. I just completed Invisalign therapy and couldn’t be more pleased with the results or how they treated me throughout the process. They also get me in right away if I am having a problem. If you’re looking for a new Dentist, they are the best.

This dental office rocks.....it has the very best combination of friendly but efficient. Everyone is very well trained and professional. Dr Abell is warm and caring as well as an expert in her field. She made 2 crowns to place on top of my implants; not only were they PERFECT but she explained everything to me as she was placing them. For me, communication is very important. I just love this place!

What a pleasure to find an excellent dentist’s office that cares about you and providing five star service!!!! When we moved to Bluffton, we visited two other dentist offices and struggled to find one we were happy with. After reading other reviews about Harbor Point Dentistry and Dr. Abell, we decided to give it a try. My first visit, I was blown away by the professionalism of the staff, the kindness I was shown, and the cleanliness of the office. It was so nice of Dr. Abell to sit down with me and introduce herself, share her background and take time to get to know me. My hygienist was amazing! She did a great job cleaning my teeth and also made me feel important. I cannot recommend this dental office enough. It was honestly a great experience from start to finish!

Was looking for a dentist office in Bluffton SC and saw a recommendation for Harbor Point on our neighborhood Facebook page. Both my wife and I are so thankful to have found this hidden gem in the lowcountry. Dr Abell and her staff are nice, caring, professional and also top notch in what they do. Looking out for new patients as if we had been there for years, we immediately felt welcomed. Additionally, Dr Abell is able to provide Invisalign in her office and I can’t say enough about the night and day results they were able to provide. Always accommodating with busy hectic schedules we all seem to have these days, glad looking for a dental office isn’t something we’ll need to worry about anytime soon.

Hands down the best dental practice I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. So happy I found this dentist! Dr. Abell and her staff have been wonderful. Cleanings have actually been pleasant - the hygienist is friendly, efficient and has made each visit very comfortable - music is great too! Dr. Abell has handled an issue that I was dealing with from a prior dentist and fixed it perfectly!! I had a crown done recently as well and it’s the absolute best crown experience I ever had. It was placed without any adjustments! Dr. Abell does a great job explaining everything in an easy to understand way. She’s also really good at keeping you updated as she’s doing the work on your teeth. She’s a very compassionate dentist. Offices are very clean. Highly recommend!!!

Harbor Point Dentistry is by far the best dental practice I've ever experienced. My wife and I moved to the are two years ago and tried several dental practices. We found them to be understaffed, overbooked and miserable to work with. I was referred to Harbor Point and have never looked back. The office is bright and cheerful and Dr. Abell and her staff are friendly, kind and courteous. Most importantly, they provide world class dental services. Extremely thorough - op notch work! 5- STARS+!!

Recently moved into the area and needed to find a dentist. Can't exactly remember how I got their practice but had my first appointment yesterday. Office was easy to get to, was pleasantly welcomed, and had a session with Danielle, the Hygienist, who talked me through the cleaning. Followed that up with Dr. Abell coming by to do her own review. All in all a good experience!

I some what recently had a dental issue
new to the area I did some research and as we all know nothing is certain. Well I would like to share my experience: I called for an appointment due to a dental emergency the dentist and the patients were so accommodating because I had my child’s wedding in a couple of days. Under that stress sometimes we can be taken advantage of, but not in this case. The Dentist and the staff were so honest, kind and forthcoming it was so refreshing that there are still people out there that are driven by what is best for the patient medically and financially. She gave me multiple seniros to make an informed decision. The staff was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. They reviewed my insurance information and my current situation sharing all information which put my mind at ease. If you want an amazing Dentist that knows her stuff with well informed staff you have made the right choice, look no further give them a call.

Dr. Abell and her staff are absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond to give you the proper dental care. They treat you as you would wish to be treated and it is so comforting. The office is stylish and always clean and you get a fun goody bag at your first new patient appointment! I would highly recommend!

I left an email on Saturday 6/11/22 that a filling had fallen out from a front tooth. I received an email on Sunday and a call today Monday to come in. Amazing!

She and her team worked together like the NFL to get me comfortable with the issue, the procedure and the cost. In fact, she took me instead of her lunch break because that’s just the kind of true, caring professional she is.

If you anywhere near their office in Bluffton,SC and you need any kind of dental work (did I mention she installed two dental implants for me earlier this year?) do not waste your time in a waiting room for any other dentist.
Call Dr. Abell. She really has the right name, because she is able to help everyone with dental issues.

I am a fairly new patient at Harbor Point Dentisty. It has been a wonderful experience. A great blend of professional and friendly. I recently needed to have an implant proceedure done. The team work with Dr. Brian Low at HILTON HEAD ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY performing the extraction and implant prepartation, and Dr. Elizabeth Abell at HARBOR POINT DENTISTRY performing the crown preparation and fiting was beyound my expectation. I honestly do not think it could have been done any better. I have not had any better medical care in my 70+ years. Both offices receive my highest recommendation.

As someone who hates going to the dentist, Dr. Abell and her team are the best. Even if it's been 6 months, they remember me, ask about my family, and truly care. Sherry is as gentle and quick as they come for a cleaning. They offer suggestions and recommend products without being pushy and without the high prices. They also frequently have patient appreciation gifts and raffles which is a nice personal touch. Only dentist I've ever gotten a gift just for going for a routine cleaning! 10 stars, highly recommend!

Dr. Abell is incredibly welcoming just like her staff. The facility is clean and the music was very enjoyable. I’ll update once I have my root canal next week :( but thankful I found a dentist who could take me in ASAP and accepts military insurance!

Update: I had a root canal and I can honestly say it was painless! Wow! Dr. Abel talked through the whole process, made sure I was comfortable and called me that evening to make sure all was well. Great dentist, great staff!

Dr Abell and her staff are wonderful. Everyone is pleasant, friendly and very conscientious about making sure you are comfortable and well informed throughout your visit. Dr. Abell is gentle, knowledgeable and thorough. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

So, I have had the same dental practice in Charlotte, NC for 30 years. We recently moved to the Bluffton area, so needless to say I was very leery about finding another dentist. Thankfully, there were Google reviews for Dr. Abell and her practice. They are FANTASTIC! From start to finish - this group is the best! Reception area - Great! Becky, my dental hygienist - Great! Dr. Abell - Great! She takes the time to talk with you. Check-out - Great! The goody bag was a nice touch, as well as the monthly raffle. They are now my new dentist in the Low Country. Thank you Dr. Abell and staff!

The staff at Harbor Point was the best ever. I was greeted with a warm hello by the front desk young lady. My dental hygienist was by far the best. I went in for a temporary crown for my tooth and Dr. Abell explained everything she was doing and made me feel very comfortable.
