The best post office I've ever been to. I've lived all over and make weekly post office trips for work. Every post office I've used before has been the usual skit of grumpy employees, frustrating misleading information, and even missing packages.

This post office is so different. The staff are always so sweet and friendly. If you need anything they take the time to help and do not make you feel like a bother. They were even making Donald duck voices for my 3 year old when she got antsy and had her smiling and giggling. I love making p.o. runs now!

I have only lived in Beaufort for less than a year, but I love going to the post office on Charles St. The staff members are very friendly and efficient. Even when there's a long line of people waiting to send packages, everything moves along well. It's also a very convenient location with plenty of parking.

All the folks here have always been pleasant, efficient and professional. They have a new service for PO Box holders thats sends you a text or email when "you've got mail". Saves trips in from Ladys Island to an empty box.

I love all the Postal workers at this location! Very friendly, professional, prompt and helpful! This location is one of the cleanest buildings and very organized! Making it a pleasure to stop in and say hello even if only checking the mail!!!

The service inside was good and fast but, the lawn service in front of building is HORRIBLE . It has always been HORRIBLE. For a government building, they have the ugliest lawn.
Please, fix it.

Parking lot is very small and it stays pretty busy at this post office. The employees are very nice and efficient! Thankful the wait isn't too long.

I put in a stop mail for while we were on vacation. When we got home the mail box was full and some of it was wet. I did not put the stop mail on line, I did it from the main office in Beaufort. Thanks for nothing.

I recently had an incredibly frustrating encounter with an elderly lady who was in charge of passports at the local USPS office. The experience was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share my negative experience with others.

First and foremost, her demeanor was far from pleasant. She displayed a complete lack of professionalism and was unnecessarily rude. Instead of providing assistance and guidance, she chose to yell at us, which was both uncalled for and unacceptable. Her abrasive attitude created an unpleasant environment and added unnecessary stress to an already daunting process.

Moreover, what made matters worse was her questionable implementation of supposed "rules." She imposed arbitrary requirements that seemed to be made up on the spot. These so-called rules turned out to be nothing more than deceptive excuses to avoid submitting our passports. It was evident that she was not interested in helping us, but rather in creating obstacles and hindering the process.

I strongly urge the USPS management to address this issue promptly. It is essential to ensure that individuals in customer-facing roles possess the necessary skills, demeanor, and commitment to providing quality service. No one should have to endure the disrespectful treatment that I encountered during my visit.

In conclusion, my experience with the elderly lady in charge of passports at the USPS office was far from satisfactory. Her unprofessional behavior, rude demeanor, and deceptive practices created an extremely negative and disheartening experience. I sincerely hope that others will be spared from such a distressing encounter in the future

I've never felt so uncomfortable or disrespected before. Mr Wil in this office thinks he can talk down to women. He treated not just me with disrespect but also an elderly lady who just wanted stamps with disrespect. It was very uncalled for. I hope you get fired or at least better training in manners. I put in multiple complaints about this office. When leaving this office me and a few others who were also in there talked about how poorly they treat people. Even they apologized for how Wil was talking to me. For your customers to be apologizing for you is pretty sad. Do better. If you have a problem with women and like to talk down to them maybe a woman should come in and fire you

Whoever answered the phone on 3/14/17 is very rude. Viola was her name i believe. I asked why my tracking info stated acceptance by beaufort usps at 430am then at 730 it says it went back to georgia. She gave me a rude attitude and got even more rude when i asked why it went back. She said it hasnt even been accepted by beaufort. Then why does my tracking say it has been. Even amazon tracking says it has been accepted by carrier. Just rude and incappable of being nice. If you hate customer service that much go do another job somewhere else. Im sure the post master wont even care about the review. Everytime i get packages delivered to my address it always says undeliverable as addressed. Then magically i call and within the hour the carrier is redelievring the package. 4 times in the last month this has happened. Just lazy people and rude people.
