Western Sizzlin Steakhouse

Nice place to dine. Buffet offers something for everyone! Food was all fresh and often, refilled. Good taste, and items were appropriately hot or cold, depending on the bar. Dessert bar was full of many different items to choose from and they offered some sugar free items as well. I would say this place is better than Golden Corral! Establishment was clean, including the bathroom. Trina was a great waitress, never letting our drinks empty and clearing dishes quickly, too.

I was invited to a birthday party 🎈 🎊 🥳. I walked in and was greeted promptly and professionally. They told me exactly where the party was located. They took my order and I was on my way. Seafood night Mondays, it was pretty tasty. They had a Creole Shrimp that was delicious. The popcorn shrimp were a bit soggy and the breading kept falling off. The clay strips could have been a little more crispy, but the Mac and cheese and the lentils were delicious. Pretty sure it was bread pudding and it was good. The smores pudding was amazing! I thought it was chocolate covered banana pudding but the Graham crackers gave it away! First time back in many many years. Food and service were exceptional. Keep up the good work. All those young ladies worked very hard.

This was the best buffet I have ever been to in years and maybe even ever! Everything was good, from the salad to the entrees to the desserts. I usually find maybe a couple of things that are tasty on a buffet, but everything on this buffet was delicious. This includes the chicken livers that were hot and as tasty as my mama would have made them.😇 We truly enjoyed ourselves, and we thank you😋😋😋

This Steakhouse is a wonderful place to eat at it's located in Dunn North Carolina it's takeout order dine-in food that you would enjoy.

Very lovely in all aspects. Great place to reserve an area for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and more. The servers are top of the line in courtesy. The cooks are very warm and kind. The owners are so wonderful with greeting the customers.

Food was fresh and so good. Price was great. Service staff are all friendly but forget to check in for refills and plates a lot of the time. Overall a great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Love this place. We drive all the way from Fuquay-Varina to Dunn. Wish they would open one closer!

My family eats here once a week. We love it! Always clean and the food is great!

It's good ol country food buffet. It was very good. I didn't take pictures, but everything on buffet was great, I really liked the fried fish and cabbage, collards, and mashed potatoes were real not instant that was freekin awesome. But I think the next time I go back I'm gonna order from the steak menu I haven't had sirloin tips with mushroom gravy since I was a kid, also u can take ur baked potato to the potato bar and u can go to the salad bar. I might say one of the freshest and most full salad bars I have ever been to. WESTERN SIZZLIN yummy reminded me of Golden Corral in the 80s.Yall remember that no buffet just steak and salad and potato bar. Aaaahhh memories🥲

We were in Dunn to pick up our 3 grandchildren for the weekend. We stopped here so everyone could get whatever they wanted. Our server, Sherry, was amazing! She was friendly, she kept our drinks full, kept clean plates coming and old plates removed. And with a table of 6, that’s no easy task.... especially on a busy Friday night. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, with whom we had a great conversation, where he shared some of his history.... he worked for Golden Corral from 1980-88 then bought Western Sizzling in 1989. Learning some of his story was a real treat for our family, especially because my husband and I met at the Western Sizzlin in Aberdeen, NC (now Super China Buffet) in 1987 at the ages of 16 & 18. We are happily married with 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren, 32 years later. And we were able to glean from those memories, all because we stopped in a Western Sizzlin in the small town of Dunn, NC, started a conversation with a friendly server about the Christian music we were encouraged by and she pointed us to the owner who happened to be visiting on a busy Friday night.... I was expecting a steakhouse, not a buffet. I was pleasantly surprised. It ranks up with GC. I will be going there more often.

I had not been to a Western Sizzlin in years. Our friends told us that this location was under new management and that they recently enjoyed dinner and the breakfast buffet. We went with them yesterday and it was delicious. They had a huge variety of food, including desserts. We were the first to arrive at 8am and had to wait a little while for the buffet to open, although their signage says they open at 8am. They seated us and got us drinks while we waited. We will look forward to going back.

The buffet is my friend. Always clean, Mr. Bobby does a phenomenal job at making sure his dinner guests are completely satisfied. A great place to get your hunger taken care of. Here we see my good friend Roy T. taking care of business

We came at the end of breakfast, which is probably why it wasn't that good to us. Lunch was a lot better with healthier options as well. Thank y'all. 😊

I've never used emojis on a review before, but this place is 🔥🔥🔥 from the food to the service. Top notch. I am visiting a friend in Erwin and he told me we had to try Western Sizzlin, and I'm glad I did. My 3 favorites were the hamburger steak, Mac n cheese, and meat loaf. Frances was our server and she is a southern belle. The owner came over to our table to check on us. If I was forced to give constructive criticism, the intercom is quite loud and can be startling at times.

Have to start off with this is by far the cleanest restaurant we have stopped at off the highway!! The food was excellent. A nice salad bar and dessert bar came with the steaks we ordered. We didn't order the full buffet because we had low expectations. If I were to go again I would definitely get the full buffet. The food looked fresh, not dried up under heat lamps. Many appealing options. Really a gem on the road👍👍
