Our vehicle needed a starter replaced and Linda and her crew were able to take the job right away. The vehicle was towed to her shop by 8:30am, it was ready by 3:30pm!!! The price was very reasonable. I usually check 3 different places to make a decision on what would be right for our budget, Gillette was our choice, plus I knew of other people that used this company. Greatly appreciated the service and the easy going atmosphere with the staff.

Very pleased with Gillette Automotive Service! I went to my regular place to get an inspection yesterday and I was so disappointed when they sent me away because they were understaffed and weren't doing inspections. I did a quick search and Gillette showed up. I went and they were so friendly and accommodating. I was seen immediately and had pleasant conversation while I waited. I was in and out in no time. I will definitely be back and will refer my friends and family. Great business.

Great experience. The owner was very accommodating and I was in and out in no time. I needed an inspection and my usual place was unable to see me. When I went here as a walk in, I was seen immediately. I highly recommend and I will go back to them in the future.

I can't say enough about the skills and service level here. I have been here with 3 cars and referred more that 3 times and heard back they were just as impressed. Words cannot express my gratitude for Linda and the rest of the Gillette automotive team. My car started breaking down in between Dallas and Austin so I took the first exit and happened to turn onto their street. Purely by accident, I saw their sign and pulled into their parking lot. Without hesitation, Linda and her team rushed to help me not only find out the problem but begin to solve it. They had to order a part from Nissan, which they did straight away, and offered suggestions for places to stay overnight while they worked on my car. I was up and out of there in under 24 hours with my full confidence that everything was taken care of. Linda and her team were communicative, professional, helpful, and most importantly, kind. As a single pregnant woman driving down the road, I needed help more than I ever have before. Over the moon that everything happened the way that it did. Thank you again to the Gillette automotive team! Y’all will always have my gratitude.

I took my daughters car here for repairs & a state inspection and I'm beyond satisfied. I will more than likely use this shop for future repairs on my pickup truck. Very nice and courteous people.

I had repairs done at another mechanic shop for my 2013 Ford Edge and my check engine kept coming on after having the repairs done and I made several attempts to get the problem fixed. I finally went to Gillette Auto Repair and they were able to finally determine the problem and fixed it. They have Great customer service and everyone there is really nice. Ms. Linda is Awesome! Great place for auto work when you can't get the work done yourself. They are good folks doing great work. Not the cheapest, but cheap work doesn't get it when it needs to be right.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. These people are a 10+ easy!!!! First, they’re friendly—-Linda, the owner (along with Ray, her husband), are awesome. It was such a pleasure allowing them to service my vehicle. I had recently purchased a vehicle and had put maybe 1500 miles on the transmission, when it went out!! I could feel the sincerity as Linda reached out to me because of the plight I was in—-I HAD A CAR PAYMENT AND AN UNEXPECTED REPAIR BILL!!

They were very reasonable in pricing—-I expected to pay much more. Linda kept me
Informed throughout the entire process, which did not take long at all!

This is by far one of the best places to go and have your vehicle serviced. Linda, one of the owners is the sweetest person you will ever meet. She has gone out of her way on every one of my visits to ensure that I get a good price for the parts I need, and doesn't overcharge like other places. The staff is so friendly and treat you like one of the family. Last year when I needed to have my car repaired to pass inspection, Linda informed me of the Air Check Texas program, which allowed the state to pay, and allowed me to save $600 dollars from my repair on a catalytic converter. Other repair shops I have been to would have just taken my money and could care less about how the repair hurt my pockets. I absolutely love this place and will come her as long as they are in business.

Came here for the first time and I was greeted by a very nice woman. The other 2 employees seemed like they didn’t want to be there, anyways she was so nice and polite. I’m giving this place a 5 star because I went in for a brake check because my brakes have been squeaking and was told by another shop I would need brakes. This place was very honest and told me I didn’t need them that I had 50% left even though they squeaked. They didn’t even charge me for a brake check either. The very nice professional woman gave me some good advice on my brakes and I really appreciate her for that. I will come back for future repairs when I need them.

If you don’t want to do a bunch of wondering and guessing if your car is going to be fixed correctly, and fairly, then just take your car here. Prices are fair, definitely not big dealership prices, and the work is just as good if not better because it is family ran. Linda is a Godsend and it is so interesting yet comforting talking to a woman who appears a Grandma, BUT knows everything about cars. The head mechanic, also an older gentlemen, just exudes experience and wisdom whenever he is explaining anything. I’m not even mentioning the small army of I’m sure at least a couple of other mechanics & office ladies who make this place run like a well oiled machine.

They’ve serviced 2 vehicles for me without a hitch! They put the extra touch in, went the extra mile, communication was off the charts.......and as in most cases, the Google reviews here are 100% ACCURATE.

This place is awesome. I called on a Friday and explained my situation and they were able to get me in the following Monday and my car was completed by the time I got off work. Another plus is that it was a 2 minute walk from my job. This will be my forever ho to for car repair needs.

They are very friendly with honest diagnostics, with quick turn-arounds, & very reasonable prices. I love supporting family owned businesses and this one is one that I’ll be using for all of my automotive needs. Great experience!!!

My experience was a good one because they were honest. my truck came in because I had no brakes after replacing my pads and was unable to blled the lines myself for some reason. So I took in my truck and they could of been like other shady shops and charged me hundreds for replacing a imaginary part but they just fixed what the issue was, they bled the lines and got me on my way. They also looked at other repairs that I already knew I needed and gave me a quote that was reasonable and lower than i received from other places. Honesty is a major plus for me so i will bring my truck back and have already recommended them to others.
