Excellent hibachi with generous portions. Enjoyed chicken and shrimp with broccoli and mushrooms. Had a side of zucchini and onions which made the meal perfect. Scallops and shrimp looked great too. Definitely recommend!

Traveling through Sumpter over Easter weekend and this was practically the only place open on Sunday — and was delicious! I have celiac, so I needed #glutenfree options. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the Asahi roll. Both were great — but they did not have GF soy sauce.

This family owned restaurant has very good food. The staff is very pleasant, friendly and they really make you feel welcome. Quite frankly, I did not expect to find such good tasting sushi here. From the outside it may not look all that amazing but you can get a very delicious meal for your money here. Very pleased with my experience.

Excellent as usual. Sushi and teriyaki chicken with extra veggies. Tasty sweet tea. Staff is great. They put a candle in the middle of the sushi and sang happy birthday to me!

Best spicy tuna roll I've ever had. All large portions... Even the Miso soup was full of tofu and nori

Was in the area for the night, had the Sumo Roll sushi for dinner. It was so good that I purposefully did not hit the road the next morning till they opened so I could take some on the road. Had it for breakfast 😅

Fresh, clean atmosphere. Staff always pleasant and quick to take your order as well as bring your order to you. Please note their prices went up on plates just $1 and is posted on menu. I can say they give you a good portion for your money. Great job.

@Steve Farr Regarding your recent review, I am the “very rude” girl at the cash register that took care of you. I was not rude to you in person at the register or over the phone. In fact, the owner/manager and my coworkers stated that I handled this situation very well. I was very nice throughout the transaction, even when you became upset and acted rudely regarding the price of sauce and asked to speak to the manager. When he also stated that I had the correct price and it’s always been 0.75 cents for an extra sauce, you continued to complain and aggressively asked if I could open up your box to show you the food. Although this was somewhat an odd request, I continued to open your box, to which you responded “ok that’s fine”. You left, and called back later complaining the the food was burnt and it was not correct. I double checked the order I placed for you and the receipts when you accused me of overcharging you stating that “sauce shouldn’t cost that much”. I never yelled at any other customer on the phone or at the counter and have never/would never do this. Although the conversation with another customer is none of your concern, I handled this transaction appropriately as well with no yelling involved. In fact, when there was a customer that spoke to you saying “you should just pay the amount you owe” you responded by telling him to “butt out of it”. When I offered for you to come back to see how we could fix this, you responded with “don’t even go there”. As I continued to discuss the situation with you in an appropriate manner, you then hung up on me. Please do not mistake me defending myself over the phone in a calm and respectful manner- while attempting to resolve your complaints- as rudeness. I started here at 16 years old and have worked in multiple establishments as a server since then, and I’ve learned not to tolerate rude behavior toward my coworkers and/or myself. Great food and fast service!

Amazing food for the best and lowest prices I’ve seen at a quality restaurant. The Hibachi and the Sushi is the Best. There’s a shrimp, steak and chicken combo with rice and veggies for less than 13 dollars. That’s unbeatable. And it taste amazing. I will be back. Owner is a cool guy as well.

pros-the food was really good. ordered hibachi steak with mushrooms and carrots. truly good cons- the place needs a really good cleaning. waitress messed with her hair and then never washed her hands(disgusting!). nastiness is never a benefit for a restaurant Food was hot & delicious and service was fast and friendly. Would recommend to anyone. Prices were fair.

Large servings & good price, 100% guaranteed will be full after eating here no matter who you are. can customize vegetables, ask for meats to be spicy or crispy, and decide the rice (fried or steamed). Broad menu selection!!

Very small but satisfying place of business. The value of the meal for the quantity served along side food quality makes this a superior place to dine or order carry out. Average order to eat time is 15-20mins tops. Best hibachi grill on broad st. We will be visiting again soon.

This place is a must visit. The food is great. Delicious flavor and great portion size. I was well pleased, and I cannot forget the kind service. Prompt and friendly service. I will be going back again. 🥇

The employees are just so wonderful! They’re all so nice & everything always tastes UHMAZING! I recommend there new roll, (Halloween roll) the smoked salmon is to die for. Osaka is a great restaurant and very family orientated.

Ate at this place so many times and now that I'm gone, I miss it so much. If I ever drive through this town again, I'm stopping for sure.

Hibachi chicken plate is fantastic. Gyoza is a must.

As another reviewer stated, it's not fancy, but the food is great and reasonably priced.
