The fried chicken wings were hot and delicious . I also enjoyed shrimp and grits with bacon. The dining area is spacious and since I ate there, complementary cornbread was served. The sweet tea was also great. The food is reasonably priced and full of SOUL. A menu full of Country Cooking. Must return for the other dishes. Easy to locate as you enter Sumter.

My friends and I went for breakfast. I had the fish and grits with scrambled eggs and toast. It was the best I've ever eaten. The grits were perfect. I didn't need to add any seasonings or butter. Even the toast was perfect. They also brought cornbread squares to the table while we waited on our food. Again.....the best I've had. It was drizzled with what I think was honey and had a light dusting of cinnamon. You can't go wrong with the lemonade either. They have an extensive menu so you can go for breakfast like we did or have lunch or dinner.. The restaurant is adjoined to the gas station next door, but don't let that stop you from enjoying the food there. You won't be disappointed.

Hands down the best fried chicken I've had in all my time in the South. Staff is super nice. Their gravy is the bomb. Going to be coming back every time I'm in the area without question.

You walk in to be greeted by the owner and immediately feel uplifted. You are treated to honey cornbread as they prepare your meal. And the meal was amazing!! Talk about soul food!! Not only was the food great but you left feeling your soul was fed!! Go and enjoy! We will be going back!!

My second time here. The food and service is amazing. If you are new to Sumter as I am, and want some good Soul food come here. The tea, cornbread, chicken, greens are Devine… great place for the family to come and enjoy some great food.

Omg! When I say on point! Forgot to take pictures butttt we had honey fried wings cornbread and cabbage! Grilled chicken breast, Mac and cheese and collards. Smothered pork chops rice gravy, Mac and cheese and corn! Grilled shrimp and fries! The church punch baby is life! All seasoned well no need to add any more! We will be back with more people! Wait wait I can’t forget the Turkey wings! Jesus!

Amazing atmosphere, food and customer service! Me and my husband stop by every time we’re in town! Jeffery greeted us with a sample shrimp and grits, which was amazing. My husband added a side of it to our order. If you want a good home cooked meal, this is the perfect place!

Went to Jeffrey Lampkin's Country Kitchen today with my family. Food was delicious. Customer service was good..Jeffrey even sung me happy birthday when he found out it was my birthday. Great Evening. Will differently be returning .

Talk about being treated like FAMILY! We drove up from FL to meet with our cousins for dinner and WOW Jeffrey is an amazing chef and host! Such a sweet welcome, the fried fish was the best I’ve had perfectly seasoned and lightly breaded. The shrimp and grits absolutely delicious creamy and so flavorful. The cornbread, Jeffrey’s fried chicken was mouth watering. We appreciate the love and amazing food thank you so much!

The best food i tasted from a restaurant in a long time. I’m back in town and will be returning back tonight for Dinner.

Really great place to eat. The owner was also the chef. And he's pretty famous he has pictures with Biden and Jesse Jackson and just a lot of famous people. Too bad I didn't get pictures of the food because it was very very very good food and Nice service. And a clean clean bathroom. They also accommodated a large group of six of us so that was helpful.

The atmosphere is just so welcoming! Clean with amazing customer service. Jordan, our server of a group of 6, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive and timely. The collard greens were made with love! 😩 Give them a try!

What bad could you say about this place??? Everything is slap ya mama good, meat is tender and juicy, nothing is overly salty, which can be hard to find with soul food. Emanuel was our server and he was attentive and quite the sales man! 10/10 hard reccomend

Ordered threw door dash and the food is absolutely amazing!!!! I've been wanting to try and I'm so happy I finally did! Pricing is great, servings are great!! No complaints at all!! The Mac and cheese is to die for and it's nice to have somewhere I can go for some real collards!!
