Dollar Car Rental - Nashville International Airport

Was concerned at first by reviews but arrived and waited less than 5 minutes at counter. The car that we rented was clean and immediately available and exactly as described. Got a child’s seat as well and had no issues there either. Overall was very pleased with our experience.

The child seat was there and all was well.

I don't understand why you cannot book a childseat with your reservation online. I had to call at 11:30 only to find out they were closed, so I called at 6am & spent 12 minutes on the phone with someone who spoke english with such a think accent I could barely understand him and I also had to repeat everything I said 3 times to him. As it stands now I have a reservation with a child seat reserved but was told there was no way to any written confirmation that the child seat is reserved, and that I can only pay the extra fee at the counter.
I'm hoping to have a good experience when we arrive to pick up our vehicle. If so I am happy to change my review from 3 to 5 stars.

Went through a third party purchase of a rental car for an extended weekend trip to Nashville. Prices were competitive, services functioned as expected, and the car was as requested with no hiccups.

The only potential issue was getting a printed receipt on turning the car in, which - because of going through a third party - just required a few more questions. Still got it. I also got the email receipt without issue shortly after, but I wanted the peace of mind of a printed one.

So, for my one-off experience, I can say things went very smoothly.

Great experience for us over all.
Rented a ‘luxury sedan’ got a Toyota Avalon which is never even seen before but was a very nice car to do 2,300 miles in 12 days in.
We were checked in to our rental by a very nice lady, sorry to say her name has escaped me but the whole front desk staff were all great from what I could see.
No additional charges picked up, no murky charges or any disputes, I guess if you don’t damage the car they won’t charge you.
Recommended, dollar were the best value for the car type I wanted and everything was easy from picking up to dropping off.

The gentleman at the counter was very helpful. When he saw my really tall son, he made sure we got the size of vehicle we needed. When we went to pick up our vehicle, it wasn't the correct one, but they corrected it and made it better for us. The second gentleman at the counter, who fixed the mistake, made it possible for us to get a bigger vehicle than the first one, and that really helped in the long run. I'm glad I used them and will use them again in the future.

Excellent service. Had an issue with our car and they exchanged it without hassle. Everyone was very friendly. Prices re fuel rates as mentioned in other reviews are advertised everywhere, so you can’t be surprised if you can’t be bothered to fill up again on your return as to why you’ve been charged extra 🤷🏽

I'm so happy I left my favorite coat in the rental and they recovered it and sent it back. I will alway rent from dollar rental. You just don't know how much this means to me. Thank you everyone that works there! Oh BTW I may get a 2023 malibu it was nice to drive gas mileage per gallon was outstanding. Thank you again for everything!!!

A few weeks ago I was in Nashville and emergency came up and had to get right home. No flights that time of the evening and needed a one way rental. Called Enterprise whom I have used frequently and explained my situation and they said sorry no one way rentals to any large cities in NC, not Charlotte,not Raleigh,not Greensboro,any of which I would gladly have returned their vehicle. On a whim I called Dollar car rental at the Nashville airport. Not only did the young man listen to my predictament ,he took his time and found me a very decent one way rental with a very comfortable new auto. I was able to get home by 0630am sun morning and had till 1030pm that evening to return the auto. The Hertz rep at the airport was so congenial and helpful that evening despite her long line she and the company need to know how much they are appreciated in today's fast paced world. Thank you Dollar and Hertz for your wonderful service.

I had thrifty which is connected to Dollar car rental. Lady was nice and helpful and quick. She was called up to the car location and said I could follow to get there easier. Was a bit of a wait for the car but they were being washed, and there was a bunch of people so I wouldn't hold that against them.

Thank you very much to Tyrone and the team at Dollar who helped me out with a great car after a third party company messed my booking up with false marketing. Very helpful, friendly and accommodating staff!

I arrived at Dollar rental and was met by Lucreisha,she was instantaneously polite courteous and genuinely appreciative of me choosing Dollar. Lucreisha wore a mask but you could definitely tell that she was smiling throughout the duration of the check in process. Her attitude was very pleasant . My car was clean,it ran well and the return process was easy. I'd definitely rent from here again.

enjoyed a very cute chevy car with a full tank of gas while visiting. Person at the desk on pick up was very nice and efficient, drop off was easy, and price was VERY reasonable. Would definitely recommend and use them in the future.

The customer service is always spectacular. They acknowledge that you are a very important guest. They get you in and they get you on your way. Nice selection of cars. Pricing very reasonable. On the return it is a breeze. Pull in get out and you're on your way. Great customer service great staffing from start to finish. I love this location and this company.

I was concerned with all the negative reviews so I went an hour early anticipating long lines, there was no one in line and Kirollos who helped us provided excellent service. We received a better car without paying extra and he was very polite and professional. Very pleased with the outcome of the experience
