If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this place is as authentic as it gets!

Little hole in the wall place but man its soooo good. I love the food as well as the staff. Salsa had a nice kick without being overwhelming. Tacos have been perfect everytime. Doesn't get more authentic than this! Menu has English translations so do not be scared and prices are fair!

Could be nicer inside but has a very authentic Mexico feel. It's clean just looks like it's straight outta Tiljuana.
The food is amazingly good and very authentic. The salsas and hot Sauces are great!
I had the loaded Fajitas with Beef Chicken and Shrimp. The Tortillas tasted like white corn tortillas. They gave ya 6 of them. The only complaint was the shrimp didn't seem too fresh. But I picked them out they were the only weak point. The flavors of the meats were excellent! The waitress worked her butt off. She did an awesome job.

Overall I'd go back. Hard to find authentic Mexican food in EAST Tennesee.

I think I'd just ask to leave out the shrimp. Oh and by the way when they bring out the Two bottles of hot sauce ones a green sauce that is amazing! The other one is the hot one. It's flavor is very good but it take a sec and instant fire mouth!
If you like hot then that sauce is highly reccomended. If not you may want to avoid it and use the Verde sauce.

This establishment I can truly say, has some of the best authentic Mexican food one can ask for, on top of that they have there own butchery shop with in the store, I’ve been dining in this place with my parents over the past 3 years an I can confirm the food is out standing

We LOVE La Superior! It's been hard for these California transplants to find legit Mexican food in East Tennessee, Al pastor in particular. But La Superior delivers every time. Make sure you either speak Spanish or speak enough to get by because most of the servers are Spanish speaking only. And don't go in expecting fine dining. This is a tiny little eatery that shares space with a carniceria/mercado.

Absolute best, most authentic Mexican food I have had outside of Mexico. This is the real deal! Very nice staff, great prices.

Incredible! Go no further for serious excellence. No jar or tomato juice salsa here. EVERY THING IS FRESH. Eating the burrito with steak, chicken and shrimp is a challenge to even the hungrier, hardiest person. I took home more than I ate! Being Texas transplants we have been searching for edible tasty Mexican...we have found the BEST!

This is a carniceria/restaurant combo. As a native Californian, my family has been dying for good, authentic Mexican food - not covered in melted white Velveeta called 'queso'. We found it!!! We make the 45 minute drive for the best pastor and barbacoa in East Tennessee. Great, fresh guacamole and amazing Horchata. Brush up on your Espanol, the staff are primarily Spanish speakers! And get a traditional bottle of Coke ... You'll love it.

Super flavorful food and portion size is super good for the price! Clean and friendly staff as well. Brother dropped his fork and the waiter saw it before he even mentioned it an brought him another lol. Love this place so much

Hands down best authentic Mexican cuisine I've found. Everything was excellent. Small unassuming location shared with a small ethnic store. If you love real Mexican food this is the place to eat.

Food is awesome! Good flavor, huge portions and has a lot of menu options. Staff is super friendly and clean environment!

This place is the bomb!! You will find the great meats for your cookouts and more!! Need a snack this is the place to go to!! Very well put together and if you're hungry this is the place to order food from!!

Amazing traditional mexican food! My wife's family have been coming here for years, I can see / taste why...yum! The staff are all super friendly. I had the carnitas tacos, they are the best I've ever had.

Having spent two years in Arizona I came back home on the hunt for the best authentic Mexican food.
Mexican and texmex restaurants are a dime a dozen in this area but this place is UNMATCHED.
Not only do they have an amazing menu but they also have an in store deli aith carne asada and other authentic Mexican meat cuts to take home.
I'd give this place 10 stars if I could.

I love coming here for the awesome food, fun atmosphere and good service. The horchata is truly wonderful and refreshing! Anything with al pastor is sure to be delicious. Also grab a drink from the tienda on the way out, tried lots of great new sodas.

Great Service, very comfortable little spot to grab delicious food. Service was perfect and friendly. If you never had a taste of real tacos or south of the boarder food... This is the place to go! Very people friendly. Can't wait to go back.

If you want the best Mexican style food in the area then this is where you go. Authentic, fresh, large portions and cheap on the wallet. I eat here often and once you eat here you will never go back to a brand name storefront or a Mexican-American as the majority around here are. Unless you go to eat just to be seen by others that's the only reason to go anywhere else. Trust me this is the best....period!
