We are very pleased with the service we received from Carolina Moving & Storage. It was a local move of furniture only including a grand piano with several antique pieces and they very carefully and professionally wrapped all pieces in blankets and cellophane shrink wrap. They were also very good at handling the items through stairs and tight places making sure not to cause damage. All in all they executed a perfect move with zero defects and every piece was redelivered intact. They were also good at cleaning up after themselves and we felt that we got good value for the money we spent. We have moved at least a dozen times over the years and this was by far our best experience.

Carolina Moving did a good job on our local move. They were there promptly, and worked enthusiastically on loading as well as unloading household goods.
The crew chief was excellent, and made everything work smoothly on both ends. They did an excellent job putting furniture back together once we arrived at the new home.
I would not hesitate to use this company again or highly recommend them to anyone planning a move.

Carolina Moving & Storage just completed our move. Their service was timely and efficient. Everything happened on time and as scheduled. Their people were most friendly and did everything that we asked to do. Everything arrived undamaged. We could not has asked for better service. My husband and I just relocated to the low country from Maryland. We brought our furniture down and stored it in a facility near where our house was being built. We decided on Carolina Moving & Storage to move our furniture from the facility to our new home and were impressed with their willingness to assist us. The movers were very professional, courteous, and respectful and made it a point to handle our furniture with care. They also made sure each piece was positioned where we wanted it and took the time to set up our beds. The mover’s personalities were funny and they all appreciated the snacks and water we provided. And last but not least we were given an estimate for what the move would cost, which was reasonable and received notification when the job was finished the cost would be less.
We couldn’t have be more pleased, we highly recommend Carolina Moving & Storage for all your moving needs.

We did a 'door-to-door' move from Saint Helena to Beaufort that took about a day and a half. The four team members were more than professional both days showing up on time, being very careful while wrapping and packing and carrying the furniture and our treasures down two flights of stairs, polite and, most importantly, hard working. The lead mover, "Al" was in front and in charge ensuring his crew worked diligently and carefully. They played music that was good for everyone - no loud rap. All moves are tough, but they made this one a good experience. I would trust them again, but, hopefully, not for a while - moves are not fun.

These movers were professionals. We moved in a monsoon but it didn't matter as each piece was wrapped and tagged. No walls were dinged, nothing was damaged and they were extremely courteous and eager to please with furniture placement. We were given lots of materials pre'move for artwork and things we wanted to pack ourselves. This was a great experience...as moving goes!

My antiques were moved and stored at Carolina Moving for six months. The furniture came back to me yesterday and everything looks fantastic - they are such careful packers and movers. Their staff is extraordinarily polite! I would totally recommend their moving and storage services. Very reasonably priced, as well.

The office staff was helpful throughout the process. Several types of boxes were supplied to me in advance, including some specialized wardrobe and dish pack cartons. I actually ended up with a team of 5 guys. They were very professional, worked hard, and got the job done quickly. You can tell the difference in using a professional moving company, with them being able to break down beds, completely wrap furniture, systematically pack items, and ticket every box and piece of furniture in the house for tracking purposes. Their original estimate was slightly higher than some other companies, but you only have one time to get it right when it comes to moving your personal belongings. The one concern that I had was solved quickly by management. I would highly recommend this moving company and would use them again.

We have moved 4 times within South Carolina and were extremely pleased with Carolina Movers. They were able to schedule our move on relatively short notice, gave us a reasonable quote and actually completed the task for far less cost then we expected because the team worked hard and efficiently. There were no problems with any of the material they handled.

I moved from two homes one in Pa and the other in Nj to Beaufort SC. It took me about 32 months to build and finish the home I built down south. Carolina Moving was one of the very best services I used to make this happen. Susan was always helpful and finding a way to get me moved from two homes......store everything.......and deliver it. The workers were the best! Everything was so perfect. It sat in storage for over 32 months..........I literally couldn’t remember some of the things, boxes, furniture, as they came off the truck.......Big Al, Cedric the entertainer, Noah’s ark, Long Island........what a bunch of guys! They were so patient, and willing to move things around for us when we realized...........Oh, wrong BR! After 32 months it’s hard, they were so polite and friendly.

We've moved 8 times in the last 26 years with some very bad experiences. However, Carolina Moving & Storage completed our last move on time and less $$$ than expected. The crew was great, respectful of us and our property, and efficient. Hopefully, we won't have to move again but if so, we would call on them again.

I would not hesitate to recommend them and/or use them again. The crew that showed up...John, Cedrick, Cecil, and Noah...were ready to get to work. They were very professional and fun. Our experience with Carolina Moving and Storage was one of the least stressful parts of our move.

I have used Carolina Moving three times. After one move, they kept entire house furnishings in storage for two months... all at reasonable prices, on time, courteous staff and workers. Free boxes (used) ! They eliminate much of the angst from moving.

We just completed a move with Carolina Moving and Storage and they were great. The four movers were prompt, courteous and very efficient. They treated our possessions with great care and the cost was very reasonable. I would recommend this company very highly.

From the man that came and crated and took apart the amoire to the men that packed and moved us, including the piano were pleasant and worked very hard.
