Downtown Beaufort library

Five stars for a comfortable library where I was able to connect and get some online work done. This is a big library (certainly bigger than McClellanville but not as big as Mount Pleasant) but it absolutely had everything I needed today. It would be nice if the parking was free, but I guess too many people were parking in the library lot all day and going elsewhere.

I found a work carrel where I could plug in both my laptops, though it was a bit of a stretch to the power outlet (I need to start carrying a small power strip!) but quiet. I took a Zoom call or two here without disturbing anyone and still got a bunch of work emails done.

Lots of books, DVDs and reference materials. Of course, you need to be a local resident to borrow any of that but anyone is allowed to use the library and the wifi is free for anyone to use.

The most attentive representatives one would think to find in an environment of academic growth can be found here at this location. I applaud the efforts of each and every representative I've engaged with. Liz, Zachary, and the rest. Be forever positively consistent.

I was at this library 2008-2014 and it was amazing. They would even order in books that they didn’t have that we wanted to borrow. The children’s programming was always wonderful as well

Love love love this library!! The staff is so sweet and helpful! Great activities for kids. The kids area is very nice and big! They also have a few toys for the little babies!

Absolutely wonderful employees!

Librarians are all awesome. We have attended many classes and programs, we loved the summer food truck and have come with schoolfield trips.

Multiple Michelin stars across all categories, metaphorically speaking, that is. The staff and other patrons who frequent the library may be your neighbors, but they soon become your friends.

Nice quiet place to hang out, improve your education, and get your income tax return prepared free during filing season (Saturdays and Thursdays, February thru mid April)

This is one of the best libraries I've used. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.
