Ruby Cates bake+shop

It’s a hidden gem! This shop is super cute and everything we had was so delicious. Even the boxes and cups are really nice that I will come back for gifts to teachers. Nutella bread is my favorite of them all, so far and my husband said his coffee was better than any other place in the area.

What an incredible atmosphere, paired with great coffee, yummy cookies & friendly faces! Such a serene spot, 100% worth it to stop in for a visit. I’ll most definitely be back!

Can’t say enough great things about Ruby Cates! I come in and work weekly in here and love the uplifting atmosphere and yummy snakes and drinks. I also buy cookies and drop them off at my clients and they LOVE them! Being new to the area it has really given me a spot to feel welcome and to meet other people as well. God’s hand is on this shop and it’s staff ❤

Fresh, warm, gooey cookies are one of my favorite things. I love picking up a few cookies for my family as a sweet treat. As a local REALTOR, I always pick up a few cookies to meet my clients with. I would say that I have found my new favorite place to grab breakfast or dessert. Everyone that works here is so welcoming. I love the atmosphere!! the layout is very cool. I love how this company is not afraid to show their love for Jesus because without him then nothing else matter. I love how they will spread the gospel through the amazing food and music and friendship that they offer.! 10 out of 10 would suggest this place over other cookie places that start with a T and C.

Where do I even start, an amazing experience each time you walk through the door! This place has some of the sweetest workers, Gracie and Lexie are AMAZING every time I visit and always put a smile on my face before I leave! The atmosphere is so great, I love the message they are trying to put out to their costumers and it is just overall a very calm, cute place to hang out or do your schoolwork.
My favorite things they have on their menu are the strawberry lemonade and the oatmeal cookie! The strawberry lemonade is my favorite thing on this planet and I can’t get enough of it, and every cookie they have is baked to perfection!!
I can not say enough good things about this place, the workers, and it’s owners it is a 10/10 and an amazing addition to this small town, I drive the thirty minutes down 377 to get there weekly and it has been worth it every single time!

Love this home town bakery. Their Preacherman Chicken Salad is amazing, Sweet Potato Biscuits to die for and not a single non-incredible treat to be found.

Incredible local shop! My family and I are in at least once a week, if not more! Great options for breakfast or lunch and, of course, the baked goods are amazing! The staff is supper friendly and welcoming. The entire experience is like walking into grandmas kitchen. Love it! So lucky to have a local establishment this amazing!

Went there the other day and loved the cookies, it was very nice. Tried to go on Monday, pulled up their web site, says it's open on Mondays 9 to 4!!

Went back and had the Sweet Potatoe Biscuit Breaskfast with maple bacon!! It was amazing!!
The cookie crumble coffee was was also amazing!!

We love the country drive to Aubrey from Denton going out 380 to Rock Hill Road and coming in the back side of Aubrey. Very quiet and relaxing!

What a gem! Just recently opened and I've already been countless times. Honestly worth the trip here in DFW even if you're a ways from Aubrey. Friendliest owners/staff I've ever met, and such quality in everything (cookies, breakfast/lunch menus, coffee, chocolate - all made from scratch!) Seems like there's always somthing new on the menu to keep you coming back too. Really no place like it!

From cookies and treats to lunch boxes and of course the best cold brew and refreshing drinks Ruby Cates is my favorite stop in Aubrey. With friendly staff and a dining area perfect for hanging with friends this cozy shop is a winner!

Good place away from Dallas for a nice drive and a good coffee! Their Nutella bread is must try.

This place is incredible. The Staff, the atmosphere, the food, and the amazing cookies are all excellent. It has a lovely rustic modern vibe, and is located in a cute small town main st setting. An absolute hidden treasure that needs to be made known.

Ruby Cates provided a big box of cookies to our senior scholarship recipients banquet and they looked amazing and tasted even better. Great people and highly recommend them.

Not only are the baked goods delish but so is the food and coffee! Staff is always super friendly and the owners are incredibly genuine and their hard work and dedication to excellence is evident. Peaceful atmosphere, wonderful people, and great food! What more could you ask for!

Nancy Cates is the cutest place and they pay attention to every detail in their service and their yummy treats. The chicken pot pie is to die for, and the cookies are a wonderful dessert. You won’t be disappointed with this place!

Consistently good! Coffee is fabulous. Friendliest servers and a very comfortable environment. Like coming home to fresh baked goods.
