The People's Coffee

Nice atmosphere, nice baristas, and nice layouts. It can get crowded during peak hours, and there were too many people each taking up a whole table for studying, which was annoying. Not the greatest place for a coffee date, but maybe good for trying to meet up new people.

Great coffee, friendly service. If you can stay awhile, the atmosphere is lovely. Wide views of the city streets and a calm interior with indie modern decor makes for a perfect little spot to sit and sip you drink or work with a change of scenery

Great place to drink coffee & talk with your friends. Very comfy! Love the big windows which you're able to see cars and people walking while you drink your coffee and eat your caprese.

The Honey cardamom latte is so delicious! First time I ordered a half sweet coffee and it still had all the flavor! 10/10

This coffee shop is great!! It was a busy and welcoming vibe when I walked in. The coffee was great and they had yummy pastry options. They use cafe ibis coffee (admittedly my least favorite Utah coffee roaster mostly because my ex girlfriend loved them. So anything she liked I naturally dislike but I digress.) the barista took a lot of pride in her work and was super excited with her delicious macchiato creation and checked back with me to see if I enjoyed it. I love to see workers who take pride in their work. I’ll be back just for that. Great coffee shop right downtown by Beer bar.

Tasty coffee, tasty sandwich, good music, sun rays from every corner, cozy place, this is what i always find when i come here, still my favorite place after 2 years living in salt lake city.

Just strolling around downtown and had an amazing experience at The People’s Coffee! Not only was my coffee delicious, as was the food! Tried their monthly avocado toast was impressive! Stopped by this coffee shop on a whim and was delighted that they served food as well! I got my usual iced doppio which was so delicious as well as a panini sandwich. I loved all the big windows which made the space feeling very open yet cozy at the same time. 10/10 would recommend if you’re in the area!

Cute and cozy downtown spot to grab a coffee and a snack while you relax or study for a while. The ambiance is warm and inviting and the drinks are top notch. I was very impressed with their matcha lattes and staff was friendly.

I love this place! The new location is a swanky upgrade from the older building-- it has big wrap-around windows for awesome natural light for a bright, open space to hang out in. The baristas are super nice, the local art they feature is the coolest, and the coffee is delicious! Definitely recommend.

Great coffee shop to read or get some work done on a laptop. Staff is friendly and makes good drinks. Would make a great spot for brunch or breakfast and even lunch. I highly recommend this spot.

Beautiful spot close to city center, very walkable spot, great drinks, great food, and right across the street from my barber! Love these guys!

As a vegan, it’s a little sad to see an upcharge for alternative milk, but w that being said, hands down best latte I’ve ever had. Oat milk foam so creamy I almost died. Also, a lot of the times when I get lattes at different places, for some reason I feel like they’re always warm at best. Never hot enough, not sure why that is, but this one was piping hot & DELICIOUS. Pistachio oat milk latte, 10/10

Super cute cafe! The service was amazing and the coffee and food is phenomenal. Great place to sit and work and enjoy the city in the morning.

This was my second visit to peoples coffee, I have been dreaming about their macadamia nut latte for months and was finally around with time to visit again and boy did they deliver!! Both visits the Baristas have been so kind and helpful. I love feeling 100% comfortable asking a barista questions to help me be sure I’m getting something I’ll love! I got a 16oz iced mac nut latte again and it was heavenly once again! I also got the Breakfast Sando on an Asiago bagel and MMMMmm SO GOOD! The pickled onion is just so perfect. I love trying out new coffee shops and have a mile long list for SLC that I’m not even half way done with but I just had to revisit Peoples instead of a new shop because it’s just that good. Def give them a try! Only issue is parking but that isn’t in their control (it is in a city sooo ya know) so just plan ahead don’t bet on parking right out front. :)

I came in for a green tea and although they were out, Zoe was and always is so sweet and helpful! Her smile and willingness to get me the next best thing to my tea made my day! She’s a gem!!

Best whita mocha Ive ever had! The coffee was great and the staff welcoming. It was clean and the atmosphere inside was bright, been here twice now. Really liked it

Great local coffee shop! Tried the Pistachio Latte and loved it. They have a lot of unique syrups to choose from so be sure to try out the new flavours!
