This might be the coziest coffee shop I have ever been to. The cashier was fantastic and we got drinks based on her recommendation. You can also use this shop as your event venue. I don’t have any events coming up but the atmosphere here sure makes me want to throw a party. The pastries were delicious and so were the drinks, so I’ll definitely be back.

It is truly a place that deserves praise. Their coffees are between dark and light roast, and are very compatible with medium and latte. A hot cinnamon roll accompanied our coffee. The Best thing is It has such a nice ambiance that even Americans don't talk loudly😀. Thank you Morris for your pleasant conversation. Hello again from Turkey. 🇹🇷

🍒 WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: pastry chef, Maurice, patterned up with a lovely couple to open up this cafe after losing his son, Micah, in 2016 to childhood cancer. There’s a lot of dedications to Micah which makes me tear up but they serve food, coffee, drinks, and pastries!
🍒 THE VIBE: very spacious, lots of memoirs to their son who has passed, very cute and cozy!!! Lots of blue 💙 service was great!

- I didn’t try the coffee here this time but they had a huge list of drinks ranging from coffee to matcha so I will definitely get a drink next time that wasn’t a Poppi LOL. However, they had so many cool sodas too that I was attracted to. They have a good variety of items.
- OMG. This pesto grilled cheese is absolutely the best grilled cheese I have ever had. I actually had it as a “snack” bc big back energy but omgggg it was sooo good!!!!! I wanna go back and get it because I don’t think it’s a permanent item. They use like 3 different kinds of cheese but it’s just ooey and gooey and perfect!
- The message behind this coffee shop and the space they provide while making amazing food items makes this place so special!

I don’t even know where to start. I met Maurice, the owner, many years ago and I remember picking up the most delicious cupcakes for my son’s birthday from his apartment. To see his success since then and experience the vision he brought to life brings so many emotions. Grounds and Gold isn’t just a cafe - it’s a feeling. If you know Maurice, you know what drives his passion and his late son, Micah, lives on through Grounds and Gold. I felt it when I visited recently and I so admire all of the efforts put into this cafe.
Try the pop tart if you get a chance, I was surprised how tasty it was! <3

Wonderful little coffee shop! Full of energy, life, and a buzzing community. One of the owners has so much love in this coffee house and you can taste it through the coffee and feel it near the cozy fire!
Great spot to work on a Friday if you don’t mind a little noise! It’s full of life!

I highly recommend this place. My friend and I have a goal to always try a new coffee shop each time we meet up, and this one we just tried and want to make it a consistent thing! They offer light food like sandwiches, salads, smoothie bowls, and pastries. They are allergy friendly which is my favorite part! The service is so friendly, the co owner was great to talk to. The ambiance was cozy and it was packed, meaning many people agree that it's a great spot to hang! I'll be back!

This place is amazing! The coffee, atmosphere, plenty of seating, and choice of foods/snacks. I had the Micah Mocha Latte and the breakfast tacos. Both were very good. I highly recommend!

I had breakfast and ordered Breakfast Tacos and Hot Tea (Jasmine). The tacos were good and came with a side of salsa. The tea came in a big cup.

This is a cozy place with lots of seating. There's space for individuals to sit solo or with a group. It feels very welcoming and you can sit here for hours. It was pretty busy during breakfast time.

Awesome !! Amazing service great food recommendations. Girls were sweet and kind and checked on how we liked the food. They know how to make coffee and ill definitely come back again soon. Thanks again Alex the macchiato guy !

A hidden gem 💎 in Arlington 🫶🏻

This is my new favorite study spot. The atmosphere is perfect! And the biscuits are so crispy on the outside and so soft and delicate on the inside. Perfect. Now I look forward to my study days a little more.

Lots of gluten free options available. The employees were really nice and I had a good time eating here. The sandwiches look hand made and I cannot wait to come back again. They're gluten free biscuits are amazing as well as the gluten free cinnamon rolls and Blueberry muffins. There is so much room and a whole lot of variety in what kind of seats you can choose from it's a very comfy place.

I don't want to warn anyone off, but this place is ridiculously busy almost all the time--but that should tell you something! It is just one of my favorite coffee spots in Arlington. The staff is amazing, the food is so delicious, the atmosphere is so chill and relaxed . . . it's just a great place to come and visit with a friend, grab a tasty cup of coffee and a bakery item (I recommend the granola bar!), and enjoy the day.

Top notch homemade food & coffee. If I see a coffee shop that serves food beyond pastry’s, I usually run the other way. Not only is the coffee here excellent but the food is divine & homemade! Thank you for caring enough about food quality to have all homemade menu items as well as some more unique options all at a fair price! I greatly appreciate it! This place is literally GOLD and I’m so happy to have found them. I know it cannot be easy running a food establishment of any kind and most places are not able to provide quality food. Whatever this place is doing, they nailed it and really deserve the 5 stars they have earned. It’s an accurate rating for sure.

Holy cow! Grounds and Gold is awesome. We tried the Bee’s Knees and Micah Mocha (subbed white chocolate for traditional chocolate). Both drinks were amazing. The cashier was super kind, talkative, gracious and a wealth of information. The ambience was intimate even with a full cafe. The atmosphere was comfortable, not loud, unpretentious and very welcoming. I will be back.

I needed to get away from my house and stopped by this amazing coffee shop for coffee and cinnamon rolls and this has to be one of the most well rounded cafes I have been to!

Internet speed was 150 down. plenty of seating everywhere with all types of cushions and styles. The baristas were all nice and informative. there were spots left over still on a random Thursday.

There was a Large vegan cinnamon roll and a GF option and since I had no dietary restrictions, the baristas recommended the vegan one which was crazy good, soft and impressive. Not too sweet for only $4.

Their beans are MERIT beans and I got the honey oat milk latte. (not my usual) I do not exactly taste the honey but this was a solid espresso and they used good oat milk. Well worth the $7 before tip.

I may need to come back a day with their regular rolls if they have them later on. Or their other kitchen items all sound reasonably priced.

Found a nice spot for coffee and breakfast. The place is nicely decorated and feels cozy. Good cup of coffee and breakfast tacos. My husband got the bagel sausage and eggs, very tasty! Will be a regular here if time allow.

As I said, the atmosphere is just as you would expect a small town coffee shop in the middle of nowhere to be... calm, joyful, and inviting:) BUT it's in Arlington!! Right next to my school and perfect for early morning or afternoon hangout! I love it here:)

Grounds and Gold is a neighborhood gem. Quality coffee (it's the beans! For those of you who know Mocha Joe from Curb Your Enthusiasm), quality food, and a comfortable environment, all by a family that supports the local community. Please note they close at 5p and are closed on Sunday, at least at the time of writing.

My first time there: I asked about the food and received excellent suggestions. She suggested that I try the combo so that I can try two different things. I took my time deciding and ordered the Italian Wedding soup and the Arlington Dip sandwich. I also ordered the special hot chocolate, which had vanilla and cinnamon in it. She was very patient while I was making the decision. The food came with chips. The hot chocolate came with a beautiful white leaf of cream on top. The ambience was beautiful and restful. They have a bookshelf with books that customers can read while they are enjoying their food and coffee. They also have a fireplace behind glass and different seating areas. I noticed that there is a door that can slide shut to divide the room into two sections. My friend who introduced me to the place ordered chai tea, and we had a delightful hour of conversation before they closed at 7:00 p.m.
