Sean Ryon Western Store

I had some questions about a used saddle I had purchased and Sean was very helpful and patient with all my questions. While we were there, my wife and I purchased a couple of straw hats and the hats were shaped for us while we waited! We spent about half and hour visiting with Sean afterwards about the history of Fort Worth. We greatly enjoyed our visit!

Absolutely love all 3 of my Sean Ryon saddles. Got my first one, made by Paul in the late 90's and two more in the early 2000's.. They are the best riding saddles I've ever ridden in and they fit my horses perfect!

Glen got to chat with Mr Ryon and he even looked at some of his wooden items.veryand portfolio...very impressive store with great history and reputation...and yet personable.

Dustin did an incredible job at cleaning two Stetsons. Strongly encourage dropping by if you hat needs some proper treatment.

Not Good!! I have never written a negative review. I have never rated anyone without giving them 5 stars; however, after my experience and reading more in the other reviews, I feel the need to encourage other prior customers, who have been taken advantage of by this company, to report conversion and theft to the Texas Attorney Generals Office, as well as the Federal Trade Commission. This is a free service to any person who can prove their case. For example, I sent $3,085 to Sean and Dixie in February of 2022 for half downpayment on a custom saddle to be delivered by our November of 2022 sale. Sean said it would be completed by October of 2022. After April 27, 2022, I never heard from them again until Sean finally reached back out to me via text on January 3, 2023. He said he would just "start" my saddle. I was as polite as possible and asked for a refund since the purpose of my order had passed. Sean agreed, and said it would be sent. On February 3, 2023, I still hadn't received the refund. Sean Ryon said, "I will check on the status of your refund Thanks for your patience Sean"

On March 16, 2023, I couldn't get Sean to respond, so I emailed Dixie. Dixie replied, "My apologies, I will check on this, I thought it had already been taken care of, however our office is closed this week for Spring break. So I will check on it when we return. Regards Dixie."

On March 21, 2023, Dixie answered another email with "Our bookkeeper is looking into this, I will get back with you regarding the status asap. Dixie". I had already resent them "their" original invoice, of which I paid half $3,085 in February of 2022.

Excuse after excuse is given, but no result. I cannot believe that these people and this company are either this incompetent or untrustworthy. They seem very nice, but they had no problem misleading me, using my money, and not delivering what they promise without me going after it. Sad!

When they repay me and make things right, I will report that event as well.

Sean has turned into a scam artist. Took a saddle to sell for me and never gave money or another saddle. Completely ghosted. Lawyer's are involved.

My brother and sister-in-law ordered custom boots in February of this year for their wedding this upcoming weekend. Dixie, the owner’s wife was the one who helped them with the order and was made fully aware that the boots were being ordered for a wedding and that there was a timeline. As of today, with 4 days before the wedding, there is no word of the boots and Dixie isn’t answering the phone or returning phone calls. These were boots that were prepaid and far from being cheap.

Please take your business elsewhere.

Ordered a pair of custom made boots that were supposed to take 1 year max. Needless to say, it has been 19 months and I have yet to get any kind of update on when, if ever, I’ll get my boots or $1200 back. Every time I call to get an update, no one answers, and no one returns my messages....

Showed up during store hours and it’s closed. I live 2 hours away. Pretty frustrating.

I went in , walked around for about 15 minutes even called out . Finally a woman comes in says hi and goes straight to the office I waited another 5 minutes and left was never approached by anyone . Pathetic service or just non existant service
