Family Healthcare of Denton

They are always nice and hopeful you kind of sucks that doctor Stanley Evans is in trouble and I hear he's lost his license but ever since I was in junior high - high school somewhere along in there, everybody knew that he was a guy you could go to if you wanted certain prescriptions written.... I graduated in '80, if that tells you how long he's been doing that... Over-prescribing medications that damn near killed my mother and I'm pretty sure he's the reason why she's blind in one eye; He prescribed medications that damaged my mother's kidneys and he knew she had renal problems. I could go on and on but I've been telling her to get rid of that doctor for 30 years, the nurse practitioners are good, they're sharp, they're on the ball, they pay attention and they are great. At least one of the other doctors is not there anymore and I'm fairly sure this doc group practice/office is circling the drain slowly.

Things are new at this office. Way different. 5 star now! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I will agree with the really older bad reviews as the old staff was downright rude sometimes!

The old doctor and staff are gone!

Jill Ashby PA is awesome and the only PA or original doctor left after a major ownership and staff change at this Family Medical Center. Jill Ashby is the greatest! Our family has gone here for years and we are so grateful Jill Ashby PA is still there. She is knowledgeable, thorough and takes time with you.
The new staff are awesome too! They are very friendly and understanding with every visit or call.
We stayed through all the changes and we are sure glad we did. Give them a try. You will be pleased with the care you receive.

My family has been patients of Dr. Evans for 30 years. We love going to see him and of course my girl Jill!!! She's helped me through so much these past few years. I really don't know what I'd do without her!

I was a little skeptical about taking my mother-in-law here, but it was the closest location to her house. When we got to the facility, we were immediately greeted by Guida. She was extremely polite and attentive to our check in and answered all of our questions! The other staff members seemed a bit hesitant to engage with us. Overall, kind of a mediocre experience but at least there was one kind staff member.

I love this office. I seen two of the nurse practitioners there and they were both amazing. I just recently moved back to Texas and a coworker recommended this place to me and I love it. I never spent more than 20-30 minutes in the office. The receptionist is super friendly and nice! They are thorough and meet all my expectations. I called to make an appt and they got me in that same day during my lunch break! They got me a referral to an OB/GYN & I was contacted 2 days after that which was quick. I drive from Keller to Denton just to see them.

I love this office and the staff.

Not sure why all the bad reviews. Stuff like referrals sometimes takes time. Some people just feel entitled, like their time is more precious then others.

The front staff is always very friendly. They remember my name and always greet me with a smile and a hello.
Great customer service with all the staff. They always ask how I'm doing and take great care of me from the time I sign in and when I leave. Dr. Evans and nurses are very friendly and is always concerned about my wellbeing. They go above and beyond to get me in and out as quick as possible. Dr. Evans is a great and knowledgeable Doctor. He takes great care of his patients. He cares about me and takes the time to get to know me and makes me feel like I'm important. Him and his staff are very caring people. That's hard to find now days.
Yes sometimes it's a little slow and overwhelming because they have a lot of patients but it's worth it because they are good at what they do. I'm happy with them. That's why Dr. Evans and staff has been my primary doctor for over 10 years +.
A month after a routine physical he found a spot on my Lung 🫁.
It was Lung Cancer and just started to spread. He caught it early and I had surgery to remove a Lung Lobe that had the Cancer. I went through surgery, Chemo, Radiation and now my Lung Cancer is in Remission.
Dr. Evans and Jill Ashby saved my LIFE and will always be thankful they are my Primary Doctor and NP. ❤👍

Dr. Evans is the best doctor and chiropractor I've ever had. He was my primary care physician and Chiropractor for almost 20 years, until my husband and I moved to Utah for work. He is extremely caring, an amazing listener and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him!!!

The doctor that saved my life. When no one could diagnose what was wrong with me for years Dr. Evans did what no other doctor did, went beyond his duty and did not think of the dollar and found out what was wrong. Thank you Dr. Evans!!!!

Not only that, Dr. Evan's office is a well run and fair office. His quality of care is beyond most doctor offices. Dr. Evans might be a busy at times, because he knows what he is doing. Also, the people he surrounds himself with are knowledgeable. They extend themselves to help you with your health.

Help them find what your insurance will provide and he will get the job done! In today's world we all need to work together!

Dr. Soraya Fletcher is the most wonderful doctor I think I've ever been to. On all accounts, she has been infinitely more helpful and nicer than any doctor I've seen in Denton. Not only is she professional and very accommodating, I went in for one issue and she finally diagnosed a completely different problem that I've had FOR YEARS, that I've seen SEVERAL doctors about who have all prescribed me medication for the wrong problem. It's very possible that she saved my life.

Dr. Evans cared for me in the hospital. I've been to many doctors in my long life, but no one better in
treating and caring for me. You feel he has your full attention.

We have never had a problem with Doctor Evans , Practiioners , Nurses or staff.My wife and I have been patients for about 25 years.Giving them an excellent review.

Best Doctor in town! Why you think he's so busy! Duh! If you ain't using him, you better just go on and get your coffin ready!

Good Doctor and very nice Medical staff. I recommend them to everyone I know. They've always been there for me. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Yes they are very busy this is true. However the staff is very Friendly and doctor Evans is very knowledgeable and personable.
