Growl Records

Nice record store. The gentleman inside was kind, knowledgeable, & helpful. Although they didn’t carry the records we were looking for he referred us to another local store a few minutes up the road. The parking is decent. There’s also a brewery and a few restaurants in the area. I’ll definitely return.

My first time at Growl was Feb '24 to support my kids' band.
Great place for a punk show.
There's plenty of room insidefor these type shows, but glad that I could still hear while outside the building itself when the crowd got too people-y for me.
Also plenty of seating for smokers out there.
Sound was handled well.
Too many small venues tend to crank the bass until you feel it shaking your blood vessels and eardrums to the point of implosion, but this place had a good balance; not too heavy handed.
Decent access attempts made for less abled folks and inclusive environment.
Also enjoyed shopping records during a live show.
For this 44 year old woman, the only draw back is having a single one-holer bathroom but can't really expect more bc they wouldn't have room for it.

Visited Growl for the first time to check out their records and also got to sit in the back patio and hear a few bands live! Totally cool experience! They had a great selection of some great classics!

Growl is a cool little record store. You can grab a beer at division brewing and then head over to growl and peruse the records, or maybe catch a punk or metal show. David is very knowledgeable. If you let him, he'll talk your ear off.

Great place for live shows! Comfortable atmosphere, owner is nice too. Saw Terra Coast there and had a great time.

An absolutely fun time and the brewery behind it was amazing

Growl is a great place to shop for records. They have a wide variety of all genres spanning the past several decades to today. You can also grab some great local craft beers right next door at Division Brewery and take them back with you while you're shopping. They also have great vintage posters, stickers, buttons and t-shirts. There is also a food truck out there serving some great food. They also have people set up inside making great eats as well. This is certain times only it seems. Such a chill place with a great vibe! Check it out!

Awesome experience playing in The Sheets here with King turtle, audio rivals, Van Astro, the twins, and goergous hair. Great place to have a good time watching bands.

Nice little record shop in central Arlington. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good selection and really good pricing on used vinyl. Hit up Division Brewing next door when you stop in (just outside the back door).

Growl is outstanding, great prices on records. Live music. Music and merch from local acts. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about music and artists.

We were able to see a great band named Kudu at Growl last night. They killed it.

One of the coolest low key spots to catch a show! Great selection of records and posters for sale as well. Division brewing is right behind the place and has tremendous beers! Also the tree out back is pretty sweet!

Dope selection of records, cds, comics and some toys as well. These dudes are always booking killer love shows, which you can bring beer to from the Division Brewery connected by the back patio. Real cool guys running the show. Right across the street from some white people tacos, which are alright when you had enough of Dale's Backpack (beer).

Came here when we used to live closer, which was 4 years ago. Came back because they allow bands to play. Also was able to try the brewery out back, both places were great! Can't wait to come back

Fantastic record and comic shop partnered with division brewery, right next door. A perfect place for seeing local music. Go grab an amazing ipa, and walk 30 feet over and browse comics and records, and hear great music!

Great space to just jam out and hang out! Go grab a beer from Division Brewing next door and listen to some tunes! New stock in vinyl every 2 weeks and there’s always something good.

Been to 3 shows here! Great atmosphere, everyone is super respectful.
