Lake Jackson Seafood

We had a great experience at Lake Jackson Seafood Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

We started our meal with the fried calamari, which was perfectly cooked and served with a delicious marinara sauce. For our main course, we had the grilled salmon and the shrimp scampi. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and were full of flavor.

Our server was very attentive and friendly. He made sure that we had everything we needed and that our food was to our liking. He also gave us some great recommendations for other dishes on the menu.

We have eaten here twice since moving to the area, and it is excellent! My personal favorite is the gumbo.

Okay the last time I was there, I actually left because of them being not busy at all and I never got served. Hmmmmm go figure. This past Sunday or Monday anyway was much better. I wonder if management changed. 🤔 Our waitress was really nice and explained everything. The food was great and I am going to bring my friends next time because it was a total awesome experience. Loved it!

Amazing find as we were looking for a place to eat that was not a huge chain like Chili's or Applebee's. This place did not disappoint! Portions were huge and fresh and the service was great! We drove the 60 miles round trip just to see if it lived up to the previous reviews, we will definitely be returning customers! The scallops and shrimp were perfectly seasoned and the catfish fillet was tender and juicy. The calamari and onion rings were perfectly cooked and the prices were reasonable for the portions.

I am giving you a review for my grandson Bodie. He is 10 years old. He and his mother ate there Sunday night and he ordered the red snapper and jumbo shrimp. He loved it and wanted to go back the next night. He told the waitress he was going to give them a 5 star review.

GREAT place to eat seafood. I was very surprised by the menu choices, and was even more surprised by the decent prices on some of the dishes. Staff was very friendly. Establishment was very clean. Meals were prepped and served in a very timely manner. Grilled shrimp was cooked perfectly hats off to the chef!!!!

I enjoy eating here as it is the only restaurant in the area with many different seafood choices - not just fried catfish or fried shrimp. I have had the fried fish & shrimp and like them also, but I most often get grilled or blackened catfish on a bed of rice with sauteed veggies . My son loves the shrimp fried rice, and we all enjoy the fried mushrooms on occasion. You get a large basket at a very reasonable price. Kim is a consistent employee/server and I enjoy visiting with her. She has one of those down-home-knows-everybody styles & it seems like everyone knows her as well. Its not fancy inside, but its large and I've never had to wait for a table. The lunch menu is varied and the prices are discounted from the dinner prices. Both menus are offered during the day hours.

We had the Fried Scallops, Calamari, and Boudin balls. It was the best seafood supper I've had in years! Took my daughter's best friend for her birthday, it was amazing food. My first time there, will definitely be going back for more!

I love eating here. The food is very consistent each time I come in. The space is plain but clean. Their baked potatoes have real bacon crumbles and good cheese. My fave is grilled shrimp and snapper. Food is fairly priced. And I've never had bad service. I love the variety of combinations on their menu!

Gumbo was A+, seafood was cooked perfectly. Boudin balls were a great appetizer. I will be back. If you go to a seafood restaurant and are disappointed in the non seafood option you ordered you’re doing it wrong.

Excellent food. 😋 Monica is an outstanding waitress. 👌 No DUI's leaving this place because they don't serve alcohol. They give you more shrimp in your shrimp cocktail than Vernon's Restaurant, and its cheaper. Thank you for a incredible meal.🤘🤠

Food was great as always. One of my wife's favorite restaurants.

Excellent food. The best shrimp cocktail and cat fish. The service is a bit slow but I blame management for that because on Friday night it gets crowded and they need more waitresses. It took 20 minutes just to order drinks, about 45 minutes for my appetite and another 30 minutes to get my dinner. I gave 5 stars because I watched them 3 waitresses working hard as they can and the food is awesome

This place is always delicious, but this time, the 5* is for the amazing server we had, and the others I observed running around trying to take care of everyone on a very busy mother's day. Many of them are mothers, too, most likely, so happy mothers' day to those that are!
The good itself was not as good as usual, and took a lot longer than usual to get to the table, but I'm figuring that was due to the sheer volume of orders coming in simultaneously from so many large groups. Don't get me wrong, the food was still good, just a bit overcooked, so my shrimp and snapper were rubbery in texture; however, my scallops were cooked perfectly, to an almost 'melt on your mouth' texture.
I definitely recommend this place if you like seafood and are in the area, as the prices are fair and the quality is usually spot on.
