The menudo is clean and didn't upset my stomach. I'm sometimes sensitive with menudo but this one was like my mom's. The breakfast burrito I built it myself. Eggs, steak and beans. It was the best thing. The meat was seasoned perfectly. Beans are tasty, coffee was good, everything except the occasional fly I had to swap away from all the people coming in and out of this place. Love this restaurant

The place is very clean and friendly for service. We ordered our food and got it in a timely manner. All the food was cooked perfectly wich I find rare these days.

Definitely a great place to eat excellent service when you see locals eating that's a good sign thank you for a great beef soup in the morning!! And we are from out of town visiting and it's a great feeling when we find a great place to eat ,very attentive service, again thank you, BLESSINGS

Great Tex-Mex. I especially liked the fried cactus; I never had it before and it was delicious. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Do yourself a favor and order El Patron Breakfast. Your choice of Carne Asada or Chicken breast served with eggs, frijoles and potatoes. The potatoes are smashed but flavorful. The barbacoa is excellent and not greasy. My favorite is the caldo de res. O M G huge serving and very 😋 If your on the run grab the super burrito. Eggs, chorizo, ham and it's HUGE. Served with a side of fries that are very tasty.

This was my first visit here. The food was excellent. I had the Fajita de Res (Beef Fajitas), and they were very good. Nothing was overly spicy like the usual Tex-Mex. Will be back again soon.

Excellent little Mexican restaurant that I was invited to. My first time here. Impressed with the service and the food. I ordered Enchiladas Verdes. Delicious. I will definitely visit this place again and tell others about it. No photos to add on this trip though. Next time I will.

The best menudo in DFW area. I've been searching for a long time and will never go anywhere else. Always fresh, hot, and tripe is completely clean.

I changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I loved the quesadillas my friends and I got here. The only down side was that we had to wait a little while. After my initial visit, I came back again and this time, it was a breeze. Superb service and same great tasting food.

My husband and I came to try El Patron out for the first time. I must say that everything was delicious, and authentic. Definitely not disappointed. Will return.
