Food is always delicious! I mainly go here for their lobster (which they're known for) and its fantastic. Special vibe for the atmosphere. Now I mean this in a totally respectful way cause I love it, but the vibe is total dive bar, old school elegance. Its great! Great like this where I go for my birthday and I'm like 40 minutes away.

Love, love Cookies! We used to frequent for work parties when we worked in the area. Reacquainted ourselves a few years back and it was still great like we remembered! It has a quaint "homey" atmosohere. The food and soups are delicious (especially the mushroom soup, double baked potatoes, onion rings, chicken, etc). Also, the Bloody Mary's are the best!! Definitely will be back!!

The food was excellent but the wait staff was a little slow. Limited seating so if you have a party of more than 4, I recommend a reservation. I highly recommend.

Did was amazing! Super friendly and family/home vibe. I have been several times and never had a bag meal. Highly recommend the fried chicken.

The best fried chicken. Amazing homemade peanut butter whipped pie with homemade whipped cream. Fresh deep fried wall eye. Old world supper club environment and reasonably priced. Very nostalgic.

Had the Fried Chicken dinner. Chicken amazing, mashed potatoes delicious. Green beans need some flavor. My hubby had the Filet, it was yummy. Twice baked needs a little help, a tiny bit on the dry side.
Chicken noodle soup awesome. Cream of broccoli was great too. The pineapple cheesecake. Outstanding. The restaurant is outdated but that makes them. Bloody Mary's are a MUST

Food is always exceptional from here. Ribs are falling off the bone and well cut and cooked. The friend chicken is just as tender and delicious. It's well worth it.

Pretty good food, good service definitely will vist again when in town / nearby for work.

Service is awesome... bartender super friendly...got frog legs, ribs and chicken poorboy.. Food was excellent. Drove from Lockport just to get frog legs and glad I did will do it again...oh and double bskex potatoes are to die for so yummy.

Best chicken 🐔 we have had in a long time. Shrimp was perfect, double baked was yummy and pineapple cheesecake is to die for! Oh we had creamy cheesy cauliflower soup also which was very good too.

Great cocktails, great food, excellent waitress and bartender. Really enjoyed our meal and evening.

Such a wonderful place for dinner. Cozy inside and reminds you of a Wisconsin place. Their Bloody Mary was amazing and we had the chicken was so good!! Served very hot and large portions as well. My son had the pasta for a side and he enjoyed it as well. Also came in a huge portion. Looking forward to come back and try many other specials they serve great place!

This place is a hidden gem! The food is delicious and the service is always top notch. Truckers: if you're driving through Minooka, this place is worth the walk from the truck stop!

Such a cozy place!! Had the Prime Rib & fried shrimp with a double baked potato. The steak was cooked just the way we liked it, very tender & delicious! We also ordered the Poor boy with American Cheese on one side and Motz. Cheese on the other. Just added pickles. Very good! The beef noodle soup was very good & hearty as well!! Our waitress was also very good!! ❤

Feels like you're at a north woods dinner club. Food is top notch. Never had a bad meal. Fresh made.

Our family Christmas get together was a great success! Due in a large part to Cookies Restaurant...we had such a gracious server, she was a delight, and very helpful. The food is always wonderful here, never have to worry about that...and the atmosphere so very relaxing...charming...our favorite go to, and has been for years.

First of all, this place surprised me with how good the food was. The quality of the food ingredients and the cooking was superb. The waitress Lexi was prompt and attentive. I ordered the combination appetizer tray and walleye basket. I enjoyed everything in the appetizer tray (potato skins, fried mac and cheese bites, fried mushrooms) .The walleye fillet was large, fresh, and juicy and fresh fried to perfection. The crinkle cut fries were a good quality classic. I liked the seemingly homemade tartar sauce. Really nice hometown diner that takes pride in the food quality and atmosphere/decor. It's a little tight in there but it's cozy. The only thing I would change is to make sure the ketchup bottle is full mine was almost empty. I will be back when I'm in the area.
