Great Mexican food! Service is quick, friendly, and attentive. I had the beef enchiladas and the chili con carne tasted homemade. Had a little spice to it and loved it. The salsa is great with a little heat. The wife had nachos, and other guests had fajitas for 2. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. See photos. I will definitely be back here again.

Best tex-Mex I've had in a while. I cleaned my plate! I enjoyed the queso and then a combination platter including one of their chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce and a tamale with a chili con Carne. The chips had a seasoning on them and were the perfect start. The polo mexicana platter was equally delicious and there classic taco platter. they're Spanish rice is by far the top side ahead of any restaurant thus far in Texas.

I had reviews About this restaurant and it was convenient to our location. We are lunch and the restaurant was not packed, but this restaurant has been around for a long time and locals visit it daily. The service was great our waiter was wonderful. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. The restaurant is an old house that was converted. We had Enchiladas with sour cream sauce. One of our party had the spinach entree and one of us had the chicken. I liked the chicken because it did not appear to be stewed. They season the chips with some kind of seasoning salt and surprisingly they were not overly salting tasting. Also, the Salsa is really good. Not so hot that you can't eat it. If you are in the Fort Worth area I strongly suggest that you try this place.

My wife and I were one of the original customers here in the mid 80s. It was good then but even better now . At 3:30 in the afternoon we were greeted as we entered and were promptly sedated . Ordered margaritas that were excellent. Aldo was our server. He was helpful in selecting meal. Did not rush us nor over attentive. Food was served promptly and was fresh and hot. A little pricey but the serving was huge. Brought a serving home. Definitely worth driving for it. Go hungry. Hope you have as good an experience as we did. UPDATE Enjoyed an excellent lunch along with the test of the emergency alert system on Wednesday. We were greeted as entered, seated immediately and served chips as we sat down. Angel was our server. Took our order for margaritas 🍹, they only have 1 size, large. Not only was it delicious, but priced for any budget. Ten lunch specials were priced at $8.99 and serving size was more like higher priced dinner plate. Everything was perfect. Best Tex-Mex in the metroplex.

El Paseo has been my favorite ever since the first time I went there as a teenager. The food is always fresh and delicious.
They have the best fajitas.
We have always had A+ service. We really wish the Keller location was still around though.

Service was absolutely perfect, took 2 min to get chips salsa and our waiter to take our drink order. Waiter was extremely professional and proactive. Drinks were always full, food took less than 10 mins to come out and this was at 5:30 on a Friday night. Food was fresh, hot and full of flavor. It’s 15 miles from my home but when I want good Mexican food I will definitely make the drive. Well worth the $ and quality.

My wife and I make a point of driving from Arlington to the Jacksboro location at least every 2 weeks and have never been disappointed in the quality and flavor of the food. The ingredients are always fresh and delicious. One of the highlights is the chips and salsa are made fresh every day. The next highlight would be the guacamole is top notch. I recommend El Paseo to all my friends and family.

great little gem for Mexican food... atmosphere will just about always have large parties and small kids crying... (kids cry, it happens).

food is good and filling, large menu selection, friendly staff, affordable, never have had a bad experience.

chips are hands down some of the best, salsa is decent, but the seasoned chips... that seasoning is delicious...if you know, you know.

Recommend.

I had been meaning to visit for quite some time, and finally did on 8/1/20. I was not disappointed! I went by myself. The food was delicious! I was pleasantly surprised to see that the chips served were seasoned. 😀👍 I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce. I couldn't decide on dessert, So I had one sopapilla and an order of flan. I also had an iced tea. Dinner, dessert, and my drink all came to less than $20. My server was very attentive and made me feel extremely welcome and appreciated. I wish I could remember his name. (I think it was Juan.) I will definitely be back!!! 😍

Everyone is so nice. The host on the phone taking an order greeted me and told me she would be with me in a second. While I was waiting the other waiters greeted me also. Since she was on the phone still the manager was willing to take my order. Food was great and came out quickly.

Standalone fairly large restaurant with limited parking. Usually crowded on weekends. Staff is very polite and helpful. Large menu with a variety of choices. Food was excellent. No complaints. Recommend.

This restaurant has been on my list forever and we finally made it! Food was sooo yummy! Service was excellent! Atmosphere was also wonderful. My favorite part was the chips and tortillas! Chips were seasoned and tortillas were warm! Highly recommend!

Though it was busy we did not have to wait long to be seated. Good selection of items on the menu. The wait staff was attentive and it was not long after placing our order that our plates were served. A pleasant atmosphere adds to the enjoyment of the dining experience.

Always a favorite place to stop and dine, chips with paprika is always great, nachos are always a good start or a meal depending on your appetite. They have the best taco meat as well…

I love this place, have lived it for years. My only complaint is that they stopped Shredding the chicken for the quesadillas.
