Whitey's Ice Cream

There was actual red velvet cake in the ice cream instead of just flavoring, and it was amazing. Delicious and unique flavors, but there isn't descriptions. You also can't see in the ice cream containers to get a visual. It is a fun experience though. The employees are efficient and friendly. Pricing was reasonable.

We stopped for gas while driving cross country and decided to grab a treat. We were checking out a couple of nearby locations when my husband decided to ask a local - who recommended Whitey's without hesitation.

He was not wrong. There's not a lot of room for seating and the place was hopping, but it deserved to be. The kids working the counter were super nice and the ice cream was great. The graham flavor was an unexpected favorite among our group.

Whiteys flavors actually taste and live up to their names! So many other places serve ice cream that tastes artificial and fake. Ordered the carrot cake & German chocolate cake last night and enjoyed every bite. So fresh & delicious.

Delicious. Friendly service. Smore sundae and the cherry bon bon sundae. Couldn't have been better honestly.

Holy wow! REALLY good ice cream! They had my favorite flavor, too! (cotton candy) Great service as well, little dude even asked me if I want my sampler in a certain order.

My husband and I were in the QC for a wedding and of course had to get Whitey's which we ended up having twice in the span of 3 days. Line goes fast, good service and the best ice cream! They have two fans from Nashville, Tennessee! Will definitely be back!

Whiteys is a Quad Cities staple and has some of the best Ice Cream around. I've been enjoying getting their treat of the month when I go, always something different but all equally tasty. If you're ever feeling down, at least you know there's a whiteys around. And how can you be sad when you're eating ice cream ?

Best ice cream in the Midwest.

As someone who grew up in Texas and moved to Iowa after college, I had never been to a Whitey's. The one flavor that I tried (pecan something) was amazing. I was also very impressed by the employees. Even though they were all clearly younger than 23, they carried themselves professionally and were very accommodating to me, an out-of-towner.

Delicious hand scooped ice cream, lots of great flavors. Choose a creation from their menu, or make your own. They even let you sample flavors! Even when they seem busy, you won't have to wait long for your order. Try a turtle shake, you won't regret it.

The "best ice cream in the world" is not an exaggeration! This stuff is phenomenal. While it is a little pricey, it is well worth the splurge. May I recommend a banana split on a hot summer day, in a cup with fresh banana, fresh strawberry, and fresh pineapple ice cream and the banana cut throughout? Oh you pick the toppings. But don't forget the whip topping, nuts and a cherry!

Very young friendly, courteous, and energetic staff, who love their jobs. Some of the most amazing varieties of flavors for icecream. Although a bit pricey, but worth every penny. Homemade, doesn't get any better! Thanx very much!
