Wow! True fresh cuts of meat. I opted for pork chops and T-Bones. Both were sliced once I selected the meat. The folks are friendly and helpful. They also have a wide variety of sides/veggies in cases you can browse. They've got seasonings, sauces, other condiments, etc.. Plus there's a produce store next door!

We absolutely love this place. We found it one year on vacation and now it's an annual stop. Ask Mr Johnston to make your some breakfast sausage! It is THE BEST.

My family absolutely love Johnston's!! Their meat is about the best you can get in the Wiregrass area. While most butchers, such as this, have slightly more expensive prices than say Sam's, the quality just does not compare. Their hamburger meat and Silver Sirloin are second to none. We have gotten Filet Mignon on special occasions, and they perfectly trim them,we then have the trimmed meat and fat added to some hamburger meat to add even more flavor. They have incredible bacon that is fresh sliced to whatever thickness you prefer.

Finally is probably the best thing they carry, smoked pork chops, there really is nothing like them! I get them cut to about 1" thick and we grill them, bake them, add them to peas or beans, or basically any excuse to add them in. Every trip needs more smoked pork chops.

The staff is also phenomenal with a great sense of humor. They want to make sure you get exactly the cut you want and it is the thickness you need. They make every trip a fun adventure.

All in all, if you need great quality meat and a fun experience, then Johnston's is the only solution!

Just moved to the area. This place is awesome. They make sure you are happy with the cut of meat you are getting and it is the best of the best. Spend a little extra money to have quality meat. So worth it. Best T-Bone steaks I have had in a long time. Will absolutely return.

This past Saturday me and the wife went to Johnston Grocery in Malvern to buy some Bologna. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the Employees was all nice polite to all Customers, and their STORE was clean and their shelves was fully Stocked with the most Amazing items.
If you're in the Town of Malvern, please just stop in, and take a look for yourself.

Johnston Grocery & Market is a nice little grocery store. I bought okra recently and it was great (and they were big.) They have boiled peanuts, tomatoes, squash, eggplant, frozen peas and much more.

Passing through and stopped in and purchased a mess of different stuff for the rv trip we taking. After a day of traveling and finally getting set up in Mississippi we broke out them ribeyes on the grill and WOW. Flavor and tenderness on point. That spicy sausage was outstanding and wish I had bought more. See you in future anytime I'm in the area

Absolutely wonderful service and delicious meats! I was coming in hot from a city a few miles away. I arrived just at closing. I called and this sweet , gracious lady let me in anyway and I received awesome service. No attitude because they were closing. Best little butcher shop around!!! The small fryer chickens are the best! Fresh cut meats of all sorts and you can pick up fresh produce right next door at Sawyers Produce home of the Slocomb Tomato. Van and his wife go above and beyond to provide their lucky customers with quality fresh cut meat, a clean store, and a warm friendly atmosphere! You just have to try the bacon (don't forget your mater next door)!!! :)

They have the best fresh meat, cut to order! The people that run this place are always soooooo friendly! Their hospitality alone is enough to keep you coming back! After you e tried meat that is fresh like this, it's hard to go back to regular grocery store selections

This place is the BEST place to get your meat from. They have an incredible staff that is always smiling, helpful and friendly. You can even call in your order and they have it ready. I will never go anywhere else for my meats.

My wife and I moved to Dothan in May of 2019. One day we were out driving on the Hartford Highway, and we discovered Johnson's. The people were very friendly, and the steaks were the best I had had in years. We have been regulars ever since. We brag on Johnson's to everyone who comes to our house and enjoys our stakes. We tell them that it is the quality of the meat that makes such succulent steaks. Try Johnson's. I promise you that you won't be disappointed.
