Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth

To start with our ER staff was phenomenal. They were extremely efficient, knowledgeable, and had an incredible system. Thank you. The hospital staff was great as well. Each team we visited with took a lot of time to answer questions and explain. They watch labs appropriately and put patient well-being at the top of their care. Thank you to everyone who cared for us while we were there. Your staff is amazing and honestly very kind as well.

I was discharged earlier today. I keep going over in my head what to say. First I must show the valet guys working today some much needed love. What they do and deal with ain't easy. But in their busiest time of three not just one but 3 where more than happy to drive me around and locate my car I had no idea was parked. I mean no idea it was dropped off by someone else earlier that morning and was not told where they left it. Thankfully we found it pretty fast. But the eagerness to help me was really and made my stay that much better. I didn't have cash to tip them but I told them to give me their names and they just said to say the valet guys. Which says that much more about them as a whole. They saved me today and I will forever tell people this story. Well done management on treating your employees like the saviors they are so they are people's saviors. Well done! Second the hospital employees as a whole were the best I've ever dealt with. Their real sincerity and care they provide makes you feel all positive ways possible. They were each and every one truly concerned with my health and getting me better. They listened they asked questions they went out of their way to treat you like a human. And that for me is priceless. All of Texas Health locations are great but Texas Health Harris is by far my favorite and this visit just gave me faith that not all doctors could careless or that I'm just a number. They really do care. You will not be looked down upon. Talked to like your ignorant or that you don't matter. Someone is treating their employees like the angels that they are. Thank you for that and thank you all for a job well done and never forgotten. I will tell everyone of this experience. Thank you

We had the BEST experience delivering our baby at this hospital. The folks in Jones Hall at the birthing center was simply AMAZING. I can’t even describe it. From the moment we arrived, we felt so taken care by all the nurses. They put us in triage and gave us great communication even though they were so busy. Every nurse we encountered from labor and delivery to post partum (shout out to Vanessa, Candace, Christina, Natalia, Grace, and everyone on that shift, and Dr. Turner) we are so grateful for how you treated us and took care of us. You went above and beyond and we are unbelievably grateful. Thank you for caring for us. We will never forget it.

I was recently in the ER & then admitted to Harris Hospital on Pennsylvania Avenue. The staff was very professional from the ER until my dismissal. Staff was also very caring. I could not have received better care. Personell from ER. XRAY (ALL PROCEDURES) LAB ,and Internal staff provided excellent care. Food served was good also.

Just purely amazing, the doctors and nurses 10/10. Imaging staff as well. All the staff “except” the morning ER receptionist are a bit short and lack compassion. I’m here in Texas for work for a few months. I live in Michigan. I highly recommend, they’re busy 24/7 but trust me it’s worth the wait. They took great care of me each time and treated me with respect compassion and patience. If you are visiting from out of town don’t hesitate to go here.

I walked into this hospital to visit my aunt, and literally felt my jaw drop at the amazing concept that is the hospitals interior! Even now I can barley begin to explain how beautiful this place is (it looks nothing like my version of a hospital.)

The best part however was how happy my aunt was with the care she received at this facility. Every staff member she encountered treated her with the utmost respect and made her health their primary concern.

I come from New Jersey, so I'm used to hospitals with cheap seats, and claustrophobic floor plans. I've never seen a hospital with leather chairs, fireplaces, escalators, and high ceilings that could make most churches envious.

As if that interior isn't amazing enough there is also a gym with floor-to-ceiling glass, stunning gardens, fountains, lighted ceiling ornaments (shaped like giant gleaming birds), and wall murals. The hospital gift shop stocks an array of items that would make the perfect gift. Including an entire display of small tokens (animal shaped or coins), that can serve as good luck charms (they can certainly help to lift your loved ones spirit).

Even the bathrooms in the lobby are massive in comparison. I'm not used to hospital restrooms that accommodate more than a single person (nearly every bathroom in our hospitals are single patron only).

My mother was in one of the nicer hospitals NJ had to offer a few years ago (Morristown Medical Center), and that hospital doesn't even begin to compare. On a scale of 1-10 compared to the hospitals in my state. I can honestly claim this hospital is a 20 (it's literally that nice!)

This is a way diff post for me and a huge huge shout out to the ER-Hospital here at Harris Methodist Hospital downtown FTW! This isn’t about me, it’s about all the wonderful Staff and Doctors!! They were kind, sweet and very respectful and I’m proud to have been their patient! Blessed and beyond words to have been here with such a group of people taking care me!

Thank you to the neuro team and surgical staff for taking such great care of my mother. Thanks to you all her life is saved. Much respect and love!!!!

A few weeks ago.
I was a sick man.
My friends called Ambulance. Went to Harris Methodist down town ft.worth spent 7 days in hospital. Every one I came in contact with there.took good care of me.

Awesome hospital with wonderful staff. The process at the emergency room is so coordinated and efficient. The nurses and doctors act like they are genuinely care corned for your well being.

All staff and doctors were on top of thier game. I'm alive and healing after major surgery with a couple of complications. I had exceptional care from all staff members. I was bathed, room cleaned, and provided delicious meals everyday. I was there 5 days 4 nights.

I'm still recovering and even became confused as I was on a lot of pain meds due to major surgery and they were still helpful and understanding. I had a lot of questions, some of them silly being I'm not a nurse or doctor but all staff was empathetic to my individual story and listened. They answered all questions in a professional, polite manner, with care. Thank you, Texas Harris Downtown, Justin Tower 6th floor nurses and staff. I appreciate your exceptional care. Thank you surgical team and doctors.

Today is February the 10th 2024 at approximately 11:15 a.m. I walked in to the emergency room complaining of left shoulder pain and mid chest pain and severe headache with stomach pain I was immediately taken to the back they did an EKG as soon as they did the EKG they took me to the back and put me in front of the nurses station cuz they didn't have any rooms available but that was okay because they were really good with me within minutes the nurse came she started up an ivy on me she Drew all of the blood that she needed to send to the labs I gave them a urine specimen shortly after that they came and they took me down to do an x-ray a CT scan and they took me back Dr Jason Disney was very nice he came and told me that everything looked good on my EKG my CAT scan and my x-rays and also the lab work came back with everything within normal limits he said that I just needed to go home and rest and he was going to send some medication for me he told me it was probably because I was either under stress or it could be because of my acid reflux I have nothing but good things to say about my visit there everybody was very attentive if I know that I need to go back to the hospital I would definitely be going back here

My mom is here on the cancer floor. I am truly impressed with this hospital! Everyone has been so nice, they come and change her bed when she showers, nursing always checking on her and they have room service for the food. Very clean, I love it and she does too. Thank you for taking such good care of my mom.

I have had surgery here in 2019 (X2) & again in 2023, with absolutely -0- complaints! The hospital is pretty close to spotless with protocols instituted to halt the spread of MRSA. They have a wonderful cafeteria and many areas throughout the hospital where you'll find vending machines and even Keurigs with free coffee! Harris is very aesthetically pleasing!!! Staff is VERY well educated with great people skills. I appreciate the team work put forth by the employees here, good job everyone!!!!!

Great hospital, incredible nurses. Very accommodating. Once the doctor allowed discharge, it was quick. I only disliked the confusing parking, towers, location, and the strict policing of who could enter. We had to disclose who we were seeing and what room before we could even get to the information desk to find out. The construction made it a long walk and confusing to get back to the ER parking after my niece was admitted.

I don’t normally post reviews but I wanted to make sure this staff and most importantly Lauren P in recovery after birth of a baby gets the recognition they deserve. Lauren was the best nurse we’ve ever had. She genuinely cared about all of us and made us feel like part of her family! Every little thing my wife needed, she dropped everything and made it seem like the most important thing in the world no matter how small it was. She deserves so much in this life and makes this hospital so much better by being a part of it. The hand print you did for Autumn came out perfectly! I would highly recommend this hospital because of this staff!

I'm giving 5 instead of a 4 because while I truly ready to give a much lower review, I came come to realize that 1) yes some people shouldn't be working in the healthcare department if they don't want to be there and use you as a human pin cushion but however ones that are there because they want to be and are truly deserving of praise is why I'm giving 5. I have a double mastectomy done at this hospital end of March of this year and the staff was amazing and did the best they can with what staff they had to whatever was needed to be be done to get things in order. I also had a preterm birth here back in August of 2020 and they were just as wonderful and accommodating. Now what people need to understand is that while yes respect is earned and not given, we as the patients need to understand that these individuals are at times overwhelmed, overworked, without even a bathroom break or lunch break and doing the best they can, but that also that don't mean that the staff should be rude either. With that being said I still would recommend this hospital if you ever need to go one that your loved ones need care.

Went into the ER on 07/04/22 and although my visit in triage was a bit rough, Dr. Dixon and his staff were OUTSTANDING. They got me diagnosed and taken care of rather quickly in my opinion. I was there from intake to discharge for 11 hours and in that time, I’d say they got a lot done. Dr. Dixon walked me through everything and was 100% transparent. My nurses, Willow and another sweet girl who I seem to forget her name but she has a little dinosaur tattoo behind her ear, they were GREAT! Always quick to take my IV apart so i could go somewhere, answering me questions and making sure I was comfortable. There was another doctor who came in to do my spinal tap and I have forgotten her name, probably from the fear of the spinal tap, but she was also amazing! Thank you so much Harris Downtown.

I am so grateful for this hospital. As a traveling nurse, it has been by far the best hospital I have worked at. This hospital has restored my love for nursing. I was well supported by management and support staff (kitchen, EVC, transport team , PICC team, and security). I will miss working for them greatly. I plan to come back and work as staff one day. Would love to retire at this hospital.
