PRAISE THE LORD, I had a root canal this morning!

What!!!!!! If you have ever had a root canal you must be asking yourself. Praise the Lord! Has he lost his mind? If you have never had a root canal then you are probably also asking yourself. Praise the Lord! Has he lost his mind?

Well after months of having discomfort from one of my teeth I made an appointment and was able to see my endodontist, Doctor Lee Carroll, this morning (1/30/24). After evaluating my tooth he stated that instead of performing a root canal he might have to extract my tooth. So in addition to the extraction he would then have to implant a new molar/tooth in it’s place. He just could not be sure until after he was able to see how damaged the tooth was. So while sitting along in the chair while giving the initial numbing agent time to work the prayer that I asked in Jesus’ name was that Dr. Carroll would be able to complete the root canal.

That prayer was answered in the very most positive way possible. Once Doctor Carroll was able to get to the “root of the problem” - yep, pun intended – he was able to complete the root canal therapy. So while my jaw is sore right now, and I will still have to have a permanent crown placed on the tooth in a few weeks I am doing quite well. So one more time Praise the Lord, I had a root canal this morning!

I have been to Dr. Carroll twice for 2 separate root canals and he is Amazing! I did not feel any pain, he was very gentle, and I felt so much better after I left.

Doctor Carrol is so sweet and attentive to his patients. He makes sure that every visit is a wonderful experience no matter how busy he is. His staff is very friendly. 😁

I had an apico procedure done this a.m. and was very apprehensive about it; however, the minute I walked through the door I was greeted by the sweetest lady behind the desk. My wait time was very short and Ms Mavis, Dr Carroll, and the other ladies in the back were so so nice too. Dr. Carroll kept checking on me while he was working on my tooth and I really did not have much or if any pain throughout the procedure. He did an excellent job and I’m so thankful. Would recommend 100%.

I have been going to Dr. Carroll for years. I have had many procedures done. Dr. Carroll is very caring & compassionate. He has always treated me with respect & professionalism. I get anxiety with dental procedures, he just talks to me normally & helps me calm myself.
His staff is wonderful & extremely caring, from my experience, they will go above & beyond to help you any way they can.
I have had dental emergencies & they work me in as soon as I call. This is not a one time thing, either. In my opinion, you will not find a better Endodontist.

Everyone that I have interacted with in Dr. Carroll’s office have been professional, friendly, and caring. Dr. Carroll and his assistant have been kind and compassionate. He has taken his time to explain what has to be done and listened to my concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Carroll and his staff.

Dr Lee V. Carroll seems like such a down to earth Guy and does great work. I have never had a root canal done where I didn't feel actual pain. Not with Dr Carroll, there was the normal discomfort from numbing shots(even that was done gently). After that there wasn't any actual pain and he let me know each time pressure was needed. Staff was also very polite and kind. (This it not a fake review, I am from out of state and I don't normally write reviews, however I have dental anxiety and I hate being in pain during procedures or Dentist with no empathy--- so I wanted to share my good experience here)

Dr. Carroll was amazing!! He was so nice, explained everything so well. He was fast and I have had minimal pain after my root canal. Best dental experience I have ever had!

Had a root canal and if you dread dental work as I do THIS IS THE DR. YOU WANT TO DO SEE!!!! Very professional and personable. Appointment was at 630 AM I did not have to wait for Dr. Carroll to get there, and was out by 730 AM . He took the time to explain what he was going to be doing and his staff was exactly what you expect when you walk into any kind of Medical Office or any business for that matter.

Dr. Carroll and his staff are superb! Morgon has gone above and beyond to meet me on a holiday weekend. Honestly, the best customer service and patient care that I have seen in 25 years of working in the medical field! So thankful for them! I would highly recommend Dr. Carroll; he and his staff are THE BEST!

Growing up in Birmingham I became spoiled with the stellar Doctors produced at UAB. After transferring to the wiregrass many years ago I was shocked by the experiences I had with a few 'reputable' area dentists. The experience was so bad it caused me to develop a phobia!

Luckily a former dentist in Birmingham referred me to Dr. Carroll and I cant say enough about his professional behavior, caring attitude and attention to detail!

Dr. Carroll is as good an Endodontist as one can find. Very professional and caring to all. Dr. Carroll has performed a couple of root canals on me and was smooth as silk.

1st root canal. Dr. Carroll was great. Very cordial, laid back. Made sure I was comfortable. Very experienced.
Overall for having to have a root canal it went very well.
