The food was hot and cooked to perfection. Service staff was friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back and try something else.

Was very nice and the staff was very nice and polite and very professional very pleasant to deal with and the food was amazing can't say enough about how good the food was and how the staff were very tentative and all and all 110% if in the area and want a delicious meal must try I promise you won't be disappointed 😥

We were a party of four with catfish and hamburger steak dinners everything was cooked to order, hot and delicious. An abundant amount that we were able to bring home leftovers. Service was great as well, definitely will be back soon and will give great recommendations.

Ribs were off the charts good. Service was outstanding. The young ladies were attentive and friendly. Fast delivery of our food. I wish this place was closer to me.

This should have a single $, because $14 (including tax) for a half rack of ribs with two sides and toast is really fair. The hickory flavor on the ribs was delightful.

I arrived before a rush, so I was in and out in about 30 minutes; they work pretty quick.

They also played some 80s rock music, which was also a relief as I expected some country music here in the middle of nowhere Alabama (am I stereotyping?)

Server had an attitude and overall was not happy and looked like she hated her job and didnt want to be there! only checked on us 1 time while we were there.
A different waitress that was not even ours was super nice! She brought our food out and checked on us multiple times!
I still left the our waitress a 10 dollar tip even though I felt she did not deserve it!
The food was amazing!
Rating 2 stars since our waitress made it a not so good experience and rating 5 stars on the food!

Steaks had such a good flavor. Tea is very good. Probably the best salad I've ever had. We will be back. Service and food were both great!

I must say this food was absolutely delicious!! I had ad the hamburger steak with onion gravy . I swapped my sides out & everything was so good.

Steaks... fantastic! Hot hamburger with gravy, just as good. Try the buffalo chips!!!!! Honestly I've never made it to their barbecue. The other stuff is so good.

Excellent BBQ and sides. I was surprised seeing people smoking inside the restaurant, we don't do that in Florida. So if you don't want to be around cigarette smoke when eating better ask for that section. Staff was really nice, sweet tea was perfect. Prices are good. Definitely worth the short drive off the interstate, only like 4 minutes.

Nice folks, staff and patrons. Only had appetizers and tea, but both were good. The place does a lot of business, including takeouts. The waitresses were buzzing around that place nonstop, they have some hard working ladies there. We'll stop back by for a meal sometime.

We love the Hickory Chip. The food is great. We go at least 2-3 times a month!

Showed up shortly before closing on a weekend and received excellent service. In spite of the fact they were getting ready to close for the night. The owner also gave a precious little toy to our five year old little girl who was with us and whom our waitress was also very kind to. We appreciate the pleasant dining experience!!

Great experience. 2nd trip in last two months. The servers were absolutely great, they had a genuine concern for their customers. The food was fantastic, the steaks were cooked to perfection, medium rare was dead on. The catfish was crispy and very tasty and the chopped chicken was great. Everything was a perfect 10. Will definitely return in the near future, even if a 100 mile round trip. Would give a 5+ if possible

First time trying Hickory Chip and I will definitely be back! Excellent service! The food was delicious! I had a perfectly grilled medium rare Ribeye Steak with a side salad and loaded baked potato. The baked potato came home in a to-go box and I heated it up in the oven for lunch the next day. Shared Buffalo Chips (seasoned sliced fried potato’s) dipped in their Signature Sassy Sauce for an appetizer. The Sassy Sauce is amazing!

I visited this establishment from Tampa, FL the last weekend of September 2022 while visiting friends Matt and Debbie Herndon (Debbie is employed there), and let me tell you, I was very pleased and impressed with the service, hospitality, and the amazing food!
The steak...Mmm,Mmm! Didn't even need a knife! So delicious! Even met the owner who was sitting at a table adjacent to mine. Wonderful people. Excellent food

Valentine's evening. Of course they were super crowded! Them girls hustled their tails off! We had a blast! The food (catfish for me) was great!!
Everyone else had steaks. They said their steak was delicious and done to order. All in all a great evening! Great sweet tea! Waitstaff superb!

We have been going to this restaurant ever since it opened in 2010. I would give an extra star if I could. I know how hard this couple worked to make it what it is today March 24th 2023 my birthday where we had steak and their famous fried green tomatoes. My (Patsy Cowart Cashion) brother Bill Cowart was a familiar face there until his death. Craig and Tracey thank you so much for your kindness.
