Salem Baptist Church

Been here multiple times for gospel group concerts. Lovely church, spacious auditorium, sturdy pews. Good sized lobby area with plenty of bathrooms. The pastor seems really nice.

Biblical, musical, and friendly down to earth staff and people. This is one of the good ones! Makes Decatur worth visiting! God is in this church! 👍🏼

A man from your church picked me up, prayed with me, and drove me around town trying to help me get my truck fixed. He even gave me your church track to look at and that's how I found your church and wanted to leave a review. If these are the kind of disciples this church creates then it must be a 5 star church. Definitely am angel and a Godsend.

We have been members here for 18 years. We've raised our kids here. The current staff are energetic and have goals and visions. As an older adult now, I have the opportunities to reach out to others and pray for and encourage them. There are many opportunities for connection here at SBC.

I member how the church would pick up children in the bus on youth night and for Sunday school. The children were so excited because there were fun games , singing, arts and crafts. Preaching of the gospel They would say how they got help either homework and

Went to Triumphant Quartet concert there. Fantastic.

Great community feel! Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. They have Sunday school for the kiddos and the teachers are very nice!

They are always there and they love y’all and god but they helped with bad things when are grandma died they helped tell us and they picked us up Evan when we were late they will love everyone and care for y’all all the time and will pray for y’all Evan when y’all aren’t there and when y’all are sick and when y’all move and when y’all are on the road they will always be there and I will always love them and the church and they are amazing 😉

Great place to worship GOD. Had a bad experience 30 years ago but the new pastor made me feel welcome.

Independent Baptist -- the retired pastor teaches Sunday School most Sundays. He's one of the best pastors ever. Go.
