Love's Travel Stop

This is such a wonderful pit stop if you are out and about in this area! The bathrooms are fancy which is not something you would normally say about a gas station. I would 100% recommend stopping here if you need gas, food, bathroom or even a souvenir. While I was waiting there was a man pressure washing who stopped what he was doing to check the air pressure in a lady's car who was traveling with her young son. I thought that it was a very kind thing for him to do.

Great place to stop if you're traveling. The store is clean and the washrooms are nearly pristine. Love the feedback terminal that allows you to rate the cleanliness of the washroom.

There's a large selection of snacks and drinks as well as other travel fare.

DOT & pm oil/filter change at the shop. The man running the shop was also the cashier & did the work on my truck. Amazing! Positive attitude and very friendly. Later that night called to see if they had 18 wheeler parking at 9:27pm *which I already knew would be slim to none.
The friendly cashier told me she would go run out & look! So rare to find a motivated worker! I'm super happy with all of the workers here. Thank you so much for an amazing team!

CLEAN RESTROOMS!!! This place is a gem! Very clean inside and out! Everyone we encountered was friendly. They have a great selection of snacks, electronic accessories, and other odds and ends. There’s a Hardee’s attached which was also very clean with friendly people! A great stop!

I was having trouble walking because of back issues and the employees there got a chair with wheels from their office and a female cashier pushed me to the bathroom, waited for me, then pushed me out to the vehicle I was riding in. I have nothing but praise and gratitude for these 2 employees cause they went beyond their job duties to help me. His name was Michael but I didn't catch the female cashier's name but they deserve recognition

I’m here now and it’s the cleanest most respectful place I’ve walked into especially in this town. I Came for the Hardee’s Restaurant and omg it’s a day too remember the workers are the cleanest most nicest I’ve seen in a long time. The atmosphere was clean and I actually sat down to eat here which I never would do at a truck stop. Shout out to this location. Id give them a thousand stars if I could. 🙏

This station didn't show up on my I exit app. It must be a new station. Very clean, healthy food choices, showers, video game room coming soon, Hardees inside, and baby changing station with a working strap. There is also a dog park here. We don't have a dog, but I thought it was cool.

Stayed overnight in our RV in Decatur IL...it was super quiet..the store was immaculately clean and the staff was very friendly! They even have an RV dump station!! 10 stars!! Great job!! Highly recommended!!

Had everything we needed; diesel, snacks, drinks and a pit stop. Nice.

Frank, the general manager over service was wonderful. He went to another Loves to pick up a steer tire for us because they only had one of the ones we needed. He also made sure that we were very taken care of. All the other guys in the shop were wonderful, too. They explained things so thoroughly and were so friendly. I'm speaking of both shifts because we were there during shift change. Also, one of the guys there went to get a part for us that we had pre-ordered because they didn't have the one we needed at Love's. They didn't charge us to go get it and they installed it for us. They definitely went above and beyond what most shops do. THANKS GUYS !!!!

The people at this Loves was so kind to my husband and I. We slept in the parking lot for about an hour, felt safe in our car in the spot where they suggested we park. They had fresh coffee brewing for us when we went back in. We had been on the road for about 16 hours , heading to Children’s Mercy in Kansas City for critical great grandson. They offered prayers and wished us safe travel. Paid for our coffee for us. God bless their kindness and thank you for the prayers.

My car woulndn't start, and I thought it might be a fuse. The employees helped me push my car into a spot and zma'd some fuses and an electric tester just in case. It ended up being corrosion on a battery terminal, but all the same I am super grateful for their kindness ☺.

Great stop on my recent trip to Illinois! Clean bathrooms, great selection of snacks. I love the healthy options, like fruit and veggies!

Carl's Jr was good! Had a great experience! Clean bathrooms and friendly faces. "WELCOME TO LOVES!!!" The usual while waking up to go pee at 4am in the truck stop.

Love the facts it's open 24 hours. The station squeegee has long handle to clean a mid-size suv. Very lit area. Always been clean inside and outside the store.

I was an employee with this store. I actually is a good place to work. The only issue I really had was some of the other employees wouldn't show up to work. Overall good place to get fuel and services done on semis, trailers. I recommend this location to all of the drivers out there.

They have a good variety of stuff for travelers.

I called wanting to find out how much it would cost to send out help to a stranded elderly man who had a tire problem on 72 just off the highway from this Love's and these guys offered to go and help the man. (as I did not see this man until I was passing bye and I am of no help) I couldn't stop thanking those guys!! What an awesome response!! ❤❤

Funny...? I didn't know anyone would be open at midnight post pandemic?!!! Hardee's was open inside of Love's. Yes, 24hr open! Yay, almost felt normal. Well that lasted a few minutes 🤣, eventually a person gets back on the road only to see all business closed. honestly, I'm surprised we are allowed to get gas at night still. the lady cashier was nice and the man did a good job on our food. They were clean. No complaints. Happy we tried it out and looking forward to returning!

Stopped there on Sunday morning, 5/17/20 for a coffee and restroom break. Spotless clean and a young gentleman, Michael, was very helpful and friendly. He even recognized my veteran status. Love's should be proud to have him on staff.
