Afterglow Studio Hartford

Afterglow Studio has the best hairstylists and waxers in Hunterdon County! I have been going to Sylvia for 4 years and every time I have been amazed at her talent! She literally can make my dream hair come to life. Everybody should be going to Afterglow Studio no questions asked.

A great yoga studio in a loft space (wood floors and huge windows for natural light) and sometimes on a nearby rooftop. The owner Jane is a blend of cool and kind (you’ll feel welcome). I’m a beginner and can follow the poses. More advanced people look like they are getting their level. The studio has a fund for people who might struggle to pay and partners with other small local businesses. Love it.

Jane is a blessing to the community. Her positivity, friendliness and laid-back, caring attitude is so refreshing. Her studio is supportive and truly ALL LEVELS. All walks of life can come together to practice Yoga in her judgement free environment. Not to mention her studio is dreamy with live plants, big windows and cozy lights. Don't miss her rooftop Yoga in the warmer months!!

I just started at this studio (there’s trial for two weeks for unlimited classes, highly recommend starting with that) and I love it so much. Every day I have class I look forward to it. I’m very a beginner and am modifying a lot of positions and I never feel judged and always feel welcomed by teachers to do what’s right for me. Not to mention it’s a beautiful loft space that is great to practice in. Thank you so much Jane for helping me bring my love to yoga to light!!

Great charming yoga studio with all the class offerings you need (LOVE Yin and Slow Flow!), the space is perfect for yoga and the instructors are wonderful. Their space is a case study of why you need to take yoga in a yoga studio and not at your regular gym - amazing vibes here. Love these guys and so glad they are here, Hartford needs them!

Absolute adore this studio! It's the most welcoming and happy yoga studio I've had the pleasure of practicing in in CT. The new space is beautiful, the plants, the mirrors, the glass windows -- it's a whole vibe. I'm yet to go to one of their rooftop yoga classes, mostly because they're always sold out in minutes, but I have heard amazing things about them. Go check them out, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely love Afterglow! The vibe is on, all the teachers and classes are amazing and the community is so warm and welcoming. And wait until you step in there for the first time. Such a beautiful space with so much natural light! Highly recommend!

Every time I step into the Afterglow studio someone calls me by name and welcomes me in. That's just the kind of space this is. And, of course, the teachers are amazing, and Jane and her crew are top notch. Can't recommend Afterglow enough!

Afterglow is such a beautiful and sunny studio! I love taking weekly yoga classes there and also did a photo shoot...The space has lots to offer! Jane is so welcoming and her instruction is super comprehensive. I highly recommend trying out her class or any of the other incredible instructors!

An absolute gem. Jane, the owner, is so kind and easygoing, making every effort to offer versatile classes and special events. She's also an amazing teacher, pushing me to my limit when I'm up for it, or simply reminding me to accept where I am in the present moment. The space is awesome (gorgeous hardwood floors! eclectic decor! flora!). The community of yogis are lovely, too. If you've been looking for a place to feel comfortable and encouraged in your pursuit of strength building, balance, and overall well-being, Afterglow is your spot!

I'm so glad I tried After Glow Studio. As others have mentioned, it is a beautiful studio but more importantly, it is a welcoming and inviting space. Instructors always remind students to move at their own pace (something I need). And, there are also positive cues to extend your practice and try something new (something I also need). Jane is a great teacher, her cueing and pacing make class stress-less and easy to follow. Jane guides/redirects poses in a reassuring and positive ways and always offers a soothing savasana experience. I always leave feeling better!

Afterglow is a safe space to practice yoga and also doubles as a beautiful place to rent for photoshoot needs. Jane, the owner, is welcoming, respectful, and accommodating and strives to make sure inclusivity and diversity are prioritized. Availability to join classes via zoom is a great option for those who can’t be there in person. The yoga classes are energizing and restorative with clear cueing and sequencing. Definitely check it out!

Finally made it to Afterglow after hearing tons about it in the community. The studio is beautiful and we saw a gorgeous sunrise over Hartford during the early morning class. A great first experience. I'll definitely be back!

Fantastic studio with amazing instructors. The space is beautiful and cozy. I love that it is an ego-free yoga studio - everyone is welcome and you are encouraged to make the practice your own.

The most inviting and welcoming place. Anyone from beginner to advance has the most comfortable and enriching experience here . All the instructors are talented and caring to each individual student. It is a joy to take class at Afterglow .
