Thorsby Dental Clinic

I've been seen by several dentist for the past several months yet from many I only found two that could give me a plan and fully explain their plan to my understanding, Rice Dentures and Thorsby Dental. If you're like me you might not know Thorsby Dental does do partials and even more so there's no need to leave town, like I hate doing, unless I have to. I would recommend both places according to the area you live.

I agree with most everyone’s review here. Great Dentist, great assistant, and great team. Doc is especially kind and courteous. Can’t say that I’m looking forward to going back, because I don’t think anyone loves having to see the dentist. But, I do appreciate everything they do and I will definitely go back. And I highly recommend anyone with dental needs to go there. Thank You Doc.

I first started using this clinic in 2017. Dr. Hornsby and his staff are great. I have always been extremely nervous going to dentist as I have panic anxiety disorder. Dr. Hornsby has always been very patient with me and takes time to explain everything and let's me ask questions to make me feel comfortable. I highly recommend him and his staff to anyone.

I went today for the first time to a dentist office that I really won’t mind going back to in October. This is a complete staff of hard working, knowledgeable and friendly people that seem to truly understand that we are all understandably nervous when we go to the dentist, but they make you at ease very quickly!! GREAT PEOPLE !!

Great friendly staff. After having my wisdom teeth removed I got a call from them checking on me. I even think they were closed when he called me. Makenzie did great cleaning my teeth and was very sweet. Dr Hornsby was funny and very good at what he does. I'll be back!!!

Dr. Hornsby and his staff are Great! You can tell that they are dedicated to their job. I took mom yesterday bacause she broke a tooth and Dr. Hornsby gave us three options with prices. He explained each one and we were able to make the decision that best fit our needs. She got cold in the office and he got something to cover her up with. That meant a lot to me. We will certainly be back!

The Staff and Dr. Hornsby are great. Im scared to death of dentist, however the young lady that took the x rays and assisted him did a wonderful job and put me at ease as best as she could and Dr Hornsby was so kind and sweet. He did not hurt me or scare me at all. If you have dental fear this is the places to go. He is the only Dentist I will go to now. I give them all 5 Stars!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I was referred to Dr. Hornsby to have implants completed after an oral surgeon in Dallas had prepared the area. Dr.Hornsby went over and above normal hospitality to see me outside of regular hours due to my travel schedule. Then, when I returned for the second visit, he patiently spent a very long time making sure everything in my mouth fit together perfectly. It took twice as long as estimated, because my mouth is tiny and this is a tricky process. The entire time, he was very professional, never ruffled, methodically checking each part of the process to be sure all the complex little surfaces of the teeth lined up and fit together. The result is natural looking teeth that feel great. I am so grateful I received such excellent care and highly recommend Dr. Hornsby! Both he and his staff were superb : friendly, caring and extremely competent .

I am also a dentist, and I know Dr. Hornsby personally. I know his character and integrity and I trust him to do my dental work. I even had my mother fly from Dallas, TX and drive to Thorsby to be treated by Dr. Hornsby for some complicated crowns. He is a master of his craft and a true artist. You will not be disappointed by his service and his concern for his patients.

I love the staff and Dr Hornsby! They are always friendly and have a smile on their face! If you are looking for a great dentist in Chilton Country, I would highly remind checking them out!

I actually would rate them 10 stars if that were an option. This is such a hidden gem. The sweetest people. The whole staff is wonderful. If you are afraid of dentist don't walk, but run here because you're entire outlook will change after you have work done here.

I would never recommend this dentist. He did some implants for a family member and did an awful job. He’s all about the money. When my family member went to another dentist, they said one of his implants was in his sinus cavity. He didn’t even complete the job. Worst dentist ever!!!!!

This is a very terrible to even they going to charged me 350 dollars just to pull 2 teeth. I only seen the dr. Once. He came in came that first that I have to come back. They kept asking me for ins. I told when I call for appointment that I had to pay cash. He acted like he didn't even want to touch my mouth. I finally just got up and pd the 65 dollars for nothing. The next day I call and ask for my x-rays and they said that they don't have them!
I STRONGLY DON'T REMMEND THIS DENTIST!

A hour and 45 minutes to tell me I had a absedded tooth. That I already knew. Didn't want to hear what I had to say. I told them I came to see doctor Micheal ford. Not until I owed $65 did they tell me he had passed away. Prescribed me super up aleve nope I will not be back.
