PITA Mediterranean Street Food

Visited this place for the first time and I looked the chicken shawarma in here. The service was good. I would recommend this place. Thank you. 🙂

I’ve loved going here since it opened, but my experience today was the best by far. We came in and there was only one employee. She was super sweet and friendly, and prepared our orders quickly. She was so amazing to be working by herself.

We always stop here on our way through Alabama and it never disappoints! The food is delicious and the service is always friendly. Don’t be deceived by the fact that it’s attached to a gas station; this isn’t gas station food! There was a line when we got there and Rhonda worked hard to get everyone their food and was very sweet and attentive to make sure everything was good and we had what we needed. Always worth the wait! Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic, authentic Mediterranean food. I wish they would open one of these up in my hometown.

Hidden beside a Gas station is this new Mediterranean restaurant.

We had a gyro, rice bowl, and some hummus. The pita bread was phenomenal with the spicy hummus. The gyro and rice bowl were more than filling with huge portions.

This place has limited seating and within 30 minutes of opening was filling up. This is a must stop if driving by.

The food was hot, fresh, and delicious.
I ordered the Street Gyro with no sauce and fries. I also got the Baklava cheesecake. This was my first time eating here, and I was impressed. I ordered online and picked it up. They had my order ready to go. The inside of the restaurant was clean and inviting.

Great place the young lady at the counter had such great customer service she recommended her favorite drink to me I forgot what kind it was but it was great the food was very fresh and is made to order hot and good I had the lamb chops and the kebab highly recommend 😋 👌

We stopped in on our way through Alabama based on reviews. They were about to close but the lady behind the counter was super sweet and took our order. She was so pleasant and the food (shawarma pita and Greek fries) was amazing! The menu is extensive! It is definitely worth the stop!

The food is phenomenal, I had a classic chicken gyro and it was the best gyro I've ever had. The fries are also seasoned really well and taste amazing. Definitely come by if you've never been, it'll make you feel great.

Rhonda gave us great food and even better company! She informed us about menu availablility before we ordered. Very attentive to my dietary restrictions and gave me options. She served us at the table and even took our platters after we were done. Took the time to talk to us while we ate. Give her a raise! And give her some more workers, please!

We were surprised to find this place, looking for gas station. Food was fresh cooked and yummy.

Food was fantastic, service was fast, and the dining area was very clean and comfortable. Honestly one of the best chicken gyros I’ve ever had, and the fries were amazing. This just became one of my go-to places to eat in Clanton.

I don't live in this area, but I always stop here when I pass through. Pita is a chain, so the food is the same at every location, but what sets this one apart is how good the service is. Every person I've met working behind the counter is friendly and responsive to the needs of the customers. And they get the food done fast, so it's nice and hot. And now they serve hot dogs, too!

Tasty Mediterranean fast food. I had a shrimp bowl. The perfectly cooked shrimp melded beautifully with the seasonings.

The bathroom was clean and so were the tables. The employee greeted us immediately upon arrival and offered to help. We had never eaten here and she patiently waited while we browsed the tempting menu selection

Wonderful food prepared in a very timely manner by ONE person!! Jason is a one man kitchen crew! Friendly and patient, offering recommendations and customizable dishes, try the Hummus/pita trio with your main dish!
