Westgate Park

Has good play area for kids , clean. Need to have more lights around the play area, gets pretty dark in evening but otherwise very nice and safe.

Love the running tracks as well. Needs just more light bulbs for evening run or walk.

The whole park in general is amazing, I love the bike trail.

For the most part, all areas are clean and free of trash unless during or right after a day of a lot of scheduled events.

I help keep our parks clean, we all should.

Great place for younger kids only to play. The park was designed to accommodate children with disabilities but allows anyone to come and play. However, it is very important that we respect the authenticity of this parks design and be courteous to those with special needs since all of the other parks do not provide such awesome accommodations. They recently closed the park to make updates and those are complete now and the park is back open. Best time to visit is during the week since the weekends are pretty packed.

Lots of good facilities and recreation. Trails, swimming, work out gear, ball fields, basketball, and the list goes on. Summer months there's Water World. There's always something going on.

Great overall park for running walking biking soccer baseball or any other outdoor activities.

Nice park. The bike path is entirely paved although the pedestrian path is not.Even when the pedestrian path gets significantly more use.

What a great little park! It's been fun watching it expand over the years. Now it includes a library and a great new park on the backside. (Miracle Park) I grew up going to this park with my mom. It's far better than it was when I was little, though. There a great natural jogging trail, water world, the indoor pool and classes, the gym, and if course, the two playgrounds and library.

Early morning runs on the trail are great!!!

I take my son every week if not every other week to the play ground..I wish we had shade for the seating parents use there is one table that is shaded every other seat is on the sun..also wish we had a mist in the playground so kids won't over heat but a good water bottle helps. Beautiful park , and definitely go visit water world. The community center is wonderful and has a indoor pool and the library is terrific lot to do in this park, soft ball, volley ball, tennis, swim, bike rides, running trails and the list continues..please add so shade for parents in the playground and a Misty system it will be worth the investment

We were at the "big" playground with a couple of toddlers. They LOVED exploring all the slides and places to climb. It was clean and plenty to keep them entertained. And to my pleasant surprise, there was a changing table in the bathroom!

Took the dog on a walk along their walking paths. A hot day, but tolerable thanks to the portions of shaded trail and the benches strategically placed along the way.
Always a nice time. Clean, well maintained. A number of folks of all ages out on the trail.

I love jogging in the trail here in the Spring as it goes around the perimeter of the park and through the woods a bit. Also has a great, shaded fitness court! So happy to live near such an awesome park!

OMG, how my son loves their playground. It is the nicest playground we have seen yet. It's huge and spacious and has lots of slides swings and other fun stuff. I wish donalsonville would take notes on what a real playground looks like. Wished it had more sitting areas for parents in the shade though. However, my son had a blast and I was seriously impressed. We will definitely be back again.

This is a really nice place. They have a really interesting road to drive through that goes along everything you can do, while the path that you can walk through leads to a lot of hidden things that you can do manually pertaining to exercise and general relaxing. Near the back there's a huge pool place and a ton of stuff to just do casually. I learned how to drive at this place and honestly it's also an incredible place for that, it has every kind of road imaginable in a calm and usually quiet environment. There's places for baseball, football, soccer, and a lot more.

Fantastic park for all activity levels. Great trail for running/walking - it's mostly shaded. There's also a nice paved trail for biking. There are fields for soccer, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, and football fields. The park is very family friendly.

Ball fields, volley ball court, tennis, parks for kids, a library, indoor pool that's super affordable to use, even an outdoor water park (prices range from $9 to $12 pending age). A ton of room for parking, and a great environment for the family! Highly recommended!
