This has been our family vet for near 2 years, we had 4 dogs that got regular shots and check ups. Over the past year and a half we had to put down our 2 oldest dogs, the one we had the longest and the oldest dog just happened 2 weeks ago. They were very nice and only charged me for the check up, they also did something that made me cry in happiness. I had to put down my beloved Jake we had near 10 years and I did not know they took his paw prints and put them on a card while I stepped out to pay the bill, they sent my family the beautiful card. It was truly thoughtful and amazing service

SOME OF THE BEST PEOPLE YOU COULD EVER MEET ! I GOT THIS ABANDON DOG NAMED" STEWART" THAT SOME JUST THROW OUT LIKE A PIECE OF TRASH FROM THEM. NOW STEWART IS SPOILED ROTTEN ! I LOVE THIS LITTLE BOY TO DEATH. WE FOUND OUT RECENTLY THE HE"S A SICK ONE .HIS HEART IS VERY ENLARGED AND HE COLLECTS FLUID IN HIS LUNGS . DR.COX TOOK SUCH GOOD CARE ON FINDING OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH STEWART , NOW HE IS ON MEDS. AND DOING GOOD RIGHT NOW . I. SAYING ALL THAT , I WOULD DO IF ALL OVER AGAIN ! THE LADIES THAT WORK WITH DR. COX WELL I WILL TELL YOU ALL OF THEM ARE NUTS ! BUT THEY ARE THE BEST IN MY EYES AND U LOVE ALL OF THEM TO THE MOON AND BACK ! THANKS Guys !

I don't see Dr Cox himself every time I go but he is a very busy man caring for so many animals. We are new pure breed owners with little experience on caring for our babies so Cox vet has been most helpful and informative. I love CVH . DR. COX is compassionate and truly committed to caring for your companions. My Championship Winning Bloodline pure breed American Akita (Google: Minda Akitas AKC ShowDogs) has been in his care since 8 weeks old. He is healthy and loves Dr. COX. Now that my baby is almost 3 years old, we do HAVE TO MUZZLE him. LOL.... even humans don't like getting shots... LMBO..... Love all the assistants and Dr.Cox. if you are looking for professional care and a knowledgeable professional veterinarian, I highly recommend Cox Veterinary Hospital. You will agree.

They take walk ins for last minute 'I FORGOTS' as well as Daytime Emergencies... but you of course have to wait if they are busy, (unless it a life threatening Emergency.....)with pre scheduled appointments... it is best if you are short on time to make an appointment. But if not, they will ask you to leave your baby or babies with them and you can pick him/her up after work. They board, give medical baths, treat all types of animals. I was there once when someone brought in a box full of baby Squirrels. Cuteness overload !!! He treats Birds, Cats, Dogs, Pigs, Squirrels.... lol... and probably even raccoons. But I dont know for certain what I do know is he LOVES ANIMALS.
Fir Retail; They have leashes, Collars, prescription Science Diet food - Dry and Wet, Treats and Air fresheners and Candles for sale. I love the candles.... they do get rid of that animal lives here smell... lol
trust me... it takes 5 hours to bathe and dry my longhaired Akita and Whew.... whew, no one wants to smell Wet dog especially while he is getting a mandatory blow blow dry.

Great experience. My mom has been going here for awhile but just experienced it for myself today and cannot say enough great things about them! They remembered my mom's dogs and took extra time to make sure we understood any questions we asked. We also got him microchipped for only $19.99 with their special with annual visit.

I just wanted to give a shout to Dr.Cox , Makinlee and his entire staff for taking such good care of my boy Bennett. The staff was very professional, kind and made a traumatic experience some what easier . The office was very clean and the services I received for my sweet boy were very reasonable. I highly recommend using Cox Veterinary Hospital in Clanton, AL!

First visit for my 7 year old cat. Dr. Jonathan Stout was fantastic!!!! Did not rush us in and out. Explained everything as he did the examination. No wait time. Fast Friendly and reasonably price. Highly recommend Dr. Stout 5 stars.

Excellent vet clinic. Upon entering - it smelled terrific! They saw our puppy right on time and Dr. Cox came in soon thereafter. Friendly and informative - and he wore blue jeans and a checkered shirt. My type of place.

The staff are always professional and helpful! Dr. Cox is knowledgeable and honest. Best vet I've had, hands down. In fact, we drive 35 miles one way just to see him. Totally worth it.

Great staff been using Dr. Cox for years now!! Won't go to anyone else!! Great staff, wait time is expected but only because of Covid but before Covid you could get in and out without any time!! I would recommend him to any and everyone!! He is gentle and very caring to all the animals he cares for, even his staff are gentle and caring!!
