Eastgate Park

I was shocked at how big and well kept this place was. It has tons of covered pavilions, bathrooms, board walks with a beautiful creek, a playground for the kids, an area for fishing and dog friendly! We only covered one side of eastgate so we didn’t get to see the other side. The pond has an area under a huge tree that you can sit and relax out of the sun. We enjoyed every minute of it.

I was looking for a dog park to take my pup and Eastgate has the best one in the area! They have two areas depending on the size of your dog and it's very expansive (as you can see in the pictures). They also have a fishing pond that I like to partake in:) I believe there's archery, frisbee games and trails as well! I'll be venturing into those amenities soon.

We brought our great dane puppy! Big, clean, nice looking park! First time we went there were easily 20-30 dogs at its peak and it didn't feel at all full or crowded.
We will definitely be back!

Beautiful park. Came to play the disc golf course and loved it. There is also a great dog park, archery range, running/walking loop, and plenty of room for people to spread out.

I love this park and the disc golf course. It's a beautiful place to spend some time with your kids or dogs. I even encountered a friend while I was there!

Great place to take your pups! Big dog and small sides. Water fountains for the pooches, doggy poo bags and cans aplenty. Shaded area with tables and benches. Clean restrooms.

This was our first time there and has become one of our favorite parks. It was clean, spacious, and had plenty of shade! We enjoyed the fact that it had stuff for our dog and us to do! I would recommend this place a thousand times! Our pup loved it and was wore out after we left. You should visit if you’re ever in the area!

I consider Eastgate park to be a beautiful place to escape the traffic and noise of Dothan at a very accessible distance.

I mainly play disc golf here, but the two ponds, community center, and dog park are all attention grabbers at the park.

With beautiful old oaks, this place is a great place to relax and enjoy.

Our girls had a great time running up the hill chasing their toys. Others have left balls, chuckit, frisbee and other toys if you forget yours. Not to mention the agility equipment in bot areas.
There is a big paw/little paw entrance. Clean bathrooms for the humans, tons of covered areas with tables.
You will not be disappointed with this park.

Great dog park. Well cared for. My pup always has a great time. I also enjoy meeting other dogs and dog owners.

Great park for your fur babies. There are 2 sides which is nice..to separate the larger breeds from the smaller breeds.

I love eastgate dog park! I miss it so much. My last time there was 8/25/19. On 8/26/19 my dog Willow and I were on our way to the dog park. Unfortunately we had a car wreck and never made it there. Willow escaped without injuries and I have a fractured scapula. But we are both alive Thankyou Jesus! Working on getting another vehicle, it will be a while...

This park is a wonderful place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The lake is a good place to fish and it offers several places to catch fish at. The park overall is great. This is a good spot to go to just relax,

The dog park has a pool for the dogs, tunnels, jump poles, just a great obstacle course! I like how they have big and small dogs separated with identical areas. The gates in and out give your dog a chance to meet other dogs through the fence before being set loose together. I liked the covered awning and tables for us humans to sit at while our pups played. Overall, great place!

It's free so... five stars. Has a really nice archery range just wish there was also a firearms shooting range. Park also has a large disc golf course. A decent size fishing pond/lake. There is a hiking path that also connects the baseball diamonds to the park. Has a fenced in dog park area with obstacles and such for the K-9s. The dog park is wheelchair accessible.

Love bringing Zoe here so she can run and socialize. Just wish more people brought their smaller dogs.
