Wonderful staff and doctor! Kindness every step of the way. Reassured and thoroughly explained the process which eased my high anxiety. Root canal went smoothly and pain free. I would highly recommend if you need his specialties!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Hallam and his staff! My son, 8, ended up having to get 2 root canals done due to a football accident. He was terrified hearing the news that he needed a root canal. We made an appointment and went over everything with my son. Dr. Hallam took the time to explain everything to my son and what to expect. He was so kind and honest with my son about what needed to be done. Fast forward to the day and while my son was still nervous he was more at ease knowing what to expect. We’ve made a couple of visits back and my son LOVES seeing Joni and Dr. Hallam now. Our dentist is connected to Dr. Hallams office so it was awesome seeing that they have such a great relationship with each other so we could all communicate on what was happening, what was to come and what had been done. No one loves going to get a root canal, however our experience with this office has been nothing short of phenomenal. Outstanding staff, outstanding communication, and outstanding work. We are so thankful for people like Dr. Hallam, Joni and the entire staff!

Dr. Hallam was very professional, as he was doing my son's root canal he explained things every step of the way. He did an amazing job at keeping my son comfortable and confident that everything would be just fine! The staff at his office kindly greeted us with a smile. Michael (my son) said he knows why the dental assistant and Dr. Hallam spoke in Spanish. So kids wouldn't know what tools they are using and get afraid. In the end, Dr. Hallam showed my little man all the tools he used and Mikey left with a smile. Thank you so much Dr. Hallam and your wonderful staff! If we could give you a 10 out of 10 we would!

Referred here from my dentist who thought I may have a crack going down my tooth, in addition to the root canal. So, like any healthy person (sarcasm), I was terrified, imagining the worst case scenario and brimming with anxiety to nearly tears. Before he said a word, Dr. Hallam's presence literally brought a sense of peace as he rolled over to me in his chair. He was kind, understanding, reassuring and his calm demeanor helped calm my fears. Thankfully my x-ray revealed he could do the root canal without any problems and there was no crack! The procedure seemed pretty quick to me and was a painless experience, in every sense. His assistant Brene was very sweet and helpful and the office staff were just as kind and caring. Having moved here from Phx, I am so impressed with the kindness and quality of care I received here. I just wish he could do the rest of the work I need done, lol!

I went to Dr.Hallam for a root canal. I was very scared and nervous, to say the least. However, he was very kind, caring and compassionate. He explained everything to me and was very patient with me. He was truly outstanding. No pain or problems. Highly recommended.

I'm the son of a retired, small town dentist, and at 48, I just had my first real dental work (a root canal on a fractured molar). Dr. Hallam was outstanding! He took the time to explain everything, made sure I was comfortable, and he was attentive to my comfort throughout the process. I feel like that level of care really sets him apart. Nobody likes going to the dentist, but Dr. Hallam made my experience as painless as it could possibly be. Hopefully I'll never need another procedure like this, but if I do, there's no question Dr. Hallam will be doing the work. If you need an endodonist, and are anywhere near Decatur, I recommend him 100%. I drove over from Champaign, and it was worth every minute of the trip.

I can't say enough good things about the treatment I received. My prior endodontist said my molar had one canal too narrow to fully treat. Evidently that is not accurate because Dr. Hallam was able to fully complete the canal in short order. The treatment was quick and painless. Great job!!

My husband & I both have been to Dr Hallam him and his staff were amazing. It takes him 20 minutes to do a complete root canal with no pain. All in one visit. We drove from chatham Illinois. i would do it agin if needed. Thank yo Mr & Mrs Russ Mendenhall Sr.
