JC Licht Ace Norwood Park

When it comes to getting real help when you need it, you can't beat your local hardware store. Ace in Norwood Park is definitely that local spot with helpful staff. Had an issue with a pipe under my kitchen sink, and brought the parts in and talked to a very helpful expert named Dave who guided me in the right direction. Compare that to the big box store where you have to struggle to get a moment with a staff member, or even end up with someone who has no idea about what you need help with. I definitely recommend Ace hardware and other smaller local hardware shops.

Theresa is great employee there. Very good customer service. She is always smiling and respectful to customers. I am very happy to her customer care .

This ACE has great customer service! I had a key fob that I couldn’t open. Dan took the time to help me look up solutions and then fixed it himself.

Fantastic service from Dave B. Another hardware store copied a house key for me, but it didn’t work in the lock. I could see that the key wasn’t cut properly, so I took it back to that store & showed them the problem. Instead of correcting the issue (which they told me they couldn’t do) they simply cut another key…and it was wrong again. Seeing the futility of going back to the same store, I decided to try Norwood Ace Hardware instead. I explained my issue, and Dave B cut a new key for me. He assured me it would work…and he was right. It worked like a charm, and Dave even fixed the badly cut key from the other store, so now I have an extra key. Thank you very much Dave for working your magic! I’ll be using Norwood Ace now, even if it is a bit farther from my house.

I came in to get a frame repaired, and Trinidad went but above and beyond to help me out. He was terrific. I highly recommend the store.

I thought customer service was ruined nowadays but I was 100% proven wrong when I came to this store. I received phenomenal service from George as he helped me get the paint I need, a smoke and carbon monoxide detector and also was able to get me all the parts I needed to repair the piping under my kitchen sink. I usually need to make several trips for the same project because of me getting the wrong things, but not this time. It’s customer service like his that keep people coming back. Extremely polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Actually treats you like a guest and not just any ol’ customer. Unlike what I get from those big box stores. Will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Been coming to this store for many years -Incredible and excellent customer service! This neighborhood gem always provides helpful, friendly and great advice on home projects. Just yesterday had an amazing experience-Dave is the best, helped with finding father’s day gifts, knowledgeable, brought all items to my car and genuinely loves his job in helping others! Prices are very competitive and sure beats the big box store experience.

I was shopping here five or six times this summer, and the staff are always very helpful and I was able to locate everything I needed to purchase very easily. I was doing some planting and potting and replanting of indoor plants and they had all of the supplies I needed to get my job done quickly. The staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable.

Perfect local hardware store. I'm by no means a handyman, but they always have the equipment tools and supplies that I need for my random DIY home projects. The staff all seem pretty knowledgeable about where everything is and how to go about getting help for different projects. Sometimes I forget Home Depot exists because this place is just so convenient.

Angeline the supervisor at Ace Hardware was very helpful finding a product at a moment's notice and because of her kindness and helpfulness assisting in assembling the product with no additional cost will be the Ace Hardware that my associates will bring all their business to this location. Customer service was beyond perfection.

Staff goes above and beyond to research and find what you need asking you pertinent information to search for your items. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They always help me find exactly what I need and they ask the right questions. I recently had to exchange an item with no trouble at all. If you join their rewards program, they'll mail you coupons!
