Only the best place to shop for all things of personal joy. The owner is the best… even if he’s never around 😙. The head of operations, Matt, is the best meditating buff boy! He knows all the answers to your questions. Make sure you visit this place weekly to truly get the feeling that you are part of something bigger than just a store. A misfit family, always looking for new applicants of wonder. The music.. forever on point in the store. Cameron will beat you any day at Beerio Kart and charm your socks off.

Bottom Line: I love shopping here. For years I have lived around the corner from GWS and have loved it from the start. The wine selection is great and the beer selection always hits the mark. Whether I'm looking to celebrate or want something tasty and affordable the staff has never steered me wrong. Great tunes accompany every visit. I am a regular at their weekly wine tastings which are hosted by experts and have proven to be very educational, they have even hosted a brewing class that I loved. Selection, price, events and the staff are all tip top. I highly recommend it.

Gentile's is our neighborhood go-to for any type of alcohol. The staff is personable, helpful, and remembers their customers. The selection includes cheap everyday beers as well as more flavorful and rare craft beers. Their wine and liquor selections are well-organized and diverse in prices and flavors. I highly recommend stopping by Gentile's any day of the week (especially double-points Mondays)!

This is a great little corner shop with a very impressive selection of craft beer, mostly in coolers. They even let me know they had zombie dust which isn't easy to get. The shop is actually pretty big but somewhat small on shelves which is both good and bad. Would go back if I was ever in the neighborhood.

One of my favorite places to get beers. Staff is friendly and can give recommendations based on what you're looking for. They also have wines and other liquors available, and it has a cozy atmosphere.

-Flavio & the rest of the staff do a great job of guiding you towards the things you are looking for in beer, wine, or spirits. Super knowledgable

-Always have some interesting music playing (I've found some bands I like through this place) & they recently added a turntable & vinyl collection which adds to the charm.

-Every Thursday's & Friday they have a wine and/or beer tasting which is great to take advantage of

-It was my go to spot when I lived in Pilsen & don't make it there as much as I would like to since I've moved out of the area - still looking for a spot as down to earth as Gentile's!

Great selection, if you get on there point system. After 4 or 5 purchases, you'll get 15 dollars off your next purchase. Awesome!

We went on Valentine's Day, two years after my last visit. The location is not what it appears to be from the outside, and it is very small and intimate.
