Clifton Terrace Park

If you want a great little park for the kids to play, have a picnic, and enjoy the great riverview, this is it. Easily accessible off the River road or from Clifton Terrace. Has restroom facilities as well as several picnic areas. Beautiful spot to watch the sunset.

If you happen to be driving down by the river enjoying gods work of art, why not stop by Clifton Terrace Park? There are nice restrooms, swings and a jungle gym for the kids to burn some energy. The view is amazing and peaceful so why you are relaxing, the kiddos are burning their energy for a good night's rest. Its a spot that I keep in my back pocket for many reasons. So take my advice into consideration because maybe you can also benefit from such a beautiful place just as I am. Its located right at the bottom of Clifton Terrace Rd. ( Mountain) turn in is at the stop lights or you can also turn into from highway as well. There is a bottom and a top section for parking. Just a small area that offers so much. Please go enjoy family time that cost nothing but a little gas or just go and relax and let your stress blow away in the valley bluff wind. If this doesn't work, then right up the hill just a throw of a rock away is Clifton Terrace bar with ice cold beer and bevs! God bless

What a delightful little spot with such a history! The view of the river and the bluffs is tremendous, plus the history of the old wine cellars from the Stiritz winery and hotel. The Riverbend area is wealthy with cultural landmarks.

Nice Shady quiet park where you can sit at a bench, picnik, read the history on the posters and enjoy a clean bathroom. Nice spot to stop while riding on the bike trail along the River Road.

I came to ride my road bike along the river. It's a beautiful scenic route with exclusive bike lane. Few restaurants along the road makes it ideal to ride and relax .

Nice little park with a playground and a short loop trail. Lots of history there!

Stopped by the other day, & sadly someone had smashed a liquor bottle over the closest two parking spots. I would have picked up the pieces, but didn't have a bag or broom handy.
I wish people would respect the few resting places we have left in the area.
The restrooms at the Piasa Bird site have been closed for a good while now ... I assume because of all the graffiti & vandalism there.
I hope some day the people that are doing theses things will learn to appreciate these public places instead of tearing them down.

Very maintained trail that leads down to the river road. Nice scenic creeks to stop along the trail. Great disc golf course too!

Small park located right near the banks of the Mississippi River. The toilet facilities are clean and modern. The drinking fountains work. The Park is a great place to use as a trailhead for the Great River biking and running trail.

This park is real nice

The river looks great from this vantage point. Eagles are everywhere. This is a perfect stop on your river road adventure!

Nice park in a historic location on the river

Nice view of the river. Playground and restrooms available. Eagles Landing (to left of entrance) sells food and drinks during the summer months.

This is a beautiful park. The bathrooms smell and look awesome. The park is beautiful and so clean. The people are friendly .
