Everything about this restaurant is fabulous! The vibe, food, owners and now they've added a robot server to make it even more unique. :) Doesn't' feel like you're in Iowa anymore so we are beyond fortunate to have this place in Fort Dodge!

Not the "typical" Asian restaurant that we Iowans are accustomed to...very cool music, elegant light and airy decor and atmosphere, and those fun little robots that bring our your food. I also appreciated the explanations of the dishes and how to eat them, so no intimidating "how do I eat thai?" And...the food is delicious, reasonably priced, with pleasant servers and quick service.

Gaga & Hoo was enchanting. Found it on a road trip. Best surprise!
1. We weren’t sure we were going the right way, as you have to drive through a residential area to get to it. The restaurant is in a slightly past its glory days country club facility. So it was a little quirky even on approach.
2. We arrived right at 11 AM, and it was deserted and the main dining room lights were off. It was like walking onto a movie set. The owner was in the kitchen and told us to sit wherever we wanted. He was lovely and told us about his son, who is currently a university student, and he is clearly proud of him.
3. My husband ordered tea, and it came in an awesome Death Star teapot/teacup set.
4. Most importantly, this was THE MOST DELICIOUS KOREAN FOOD I have ever eaten outside of Korea. It was so fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. I lived in Seoul many years ago, and dangus! This food was outstanding.
5. Great value for the money. It was not very expensive.
6. I would say that this is one of the best restaurants in the entire state of Iowa. A hidden gem, and I would look for reasons to head back out that way to eat there again.

I went here to hangout with some of my friends, and we all absolutely loved this place! The staff was so friendly and made sure everything was good. The food is so delicious!! One of the workers was so fun to talk to, despite a slight language barrier we were all happy to make a connection. I will definitely be coming back here with my mom this summer💕!
I recommend this place, whether you’re going by yourself or with others it’s a warm and welcoming environment.
(All the decorations are so pretty aswell!!)

Gaga & hoo's is one of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I've known of them for years through door dash, it being a monthly treat to myself at times, but if you ever have the opportunity to eat there in person I'd highly recommend it. The food, the atmosphere, the work staff, truly immaculate. They even have a cute helper robot to bring out the food, which is an experience I'd never thought I'd be graced with. I often recommend it to strangers if given the chance because I truly love the food and drinks, and I'd love if other people got to enjoy it as well.

P.s. thank you for the many years of happiness I got to enjoy your food, may you have many years of success.

My wife and I went of a date here to try something new, and boy we wished we had tried the place sooner. The atmosphere is a quiet relaxing vibe with korean based decor that was enjoyable to take a look at cultural items. The waitress was kind, informative, and diligent to make sure we had everything we need. Not to mention the surprise we had when the robotic waiter brought us our food which was cool. We tried the Koren fried chicken and dumplings for appetizers. The fried chicken was to spicy for my wife, but I found delicious with a spice level akin to Nashville hot chicken. The dumplings were prepared to a T. My wife got the shrimp and vegetable stir fried noodles that she loved so much she ate the hole plate which is unlike her. I had the spicy pork stir fry with a side of kimchi and rice. As a chili head the heat level did not disappoint. It's a kick of flavor with a nice heat behind it. For desert we got the crowaffle and mochi ice cream. The mochi ice cream was good, but the star of the crowaffle. It's a crispy waffle crust with a light croissant inside. We had ours with strawberry preserves and ice cream. It was so good on first bite it put an actual smile on my face. Between the 2 of us trying a swath of the menu it came to just under 80 bucks. It was definitely worth it and we plan to be back to try more. I would highly recommend to anyone because this place should really be a fort dodge staple for a night out of fairly priced but delicious cuisine.

Exceptional food as always! The atmosphere is also lovely. The owner used to serenade the guests, though we haven't seen that in a bit. Pictured is the Bossam(Boiled pork wraps), Je-yuk-bokkeum (Spicy Stir-fried Pork), and the Bibimbap. The kimchi is also very delicious!

Nice atmosphere and good food! Glad they are open for dine-in now! We enjoyed the Korean pancake appetizer, #1 spicy pork, #5 sweet and sour crispy chicken, and shrimp with noodles!

We stopped by during a road trip and didn’t want to eat another fast food meal. It was delightful! The food was good; the service also (human and robot); and we had a lovely time. Much better than McDonald’s.

Absolutely phenomenal food. Great service, live music and attentive staff. Far exceeded expectations, wish I had time to return again before leaving town. The spicy pork dish was amazingly flavorful and spicy, adequate portion. LOVED IT

Really enjoyed our meal last night. We had dumplings and the seafood pancake as appetizers; both were tasty. The bibimbap was perfect and is their signature dish. I’d also recommend the spicy platter - really flavorful with a spicy tingle without too much heat. The bar and dessert menu have expanded since the last time I was there. Still maybe some room to grow in those areas.

Googled places in Fort Dodge on our way to MN. Wondered if we were going the right way but google was correct. Everything was excellent! Ginger tea was great, noodle with shrimp was so tasty with the perfect seasonings and the dumplings were the best we’ve ever had. All three patrons give this place 5 stars!!!
