Been here over a dozen times spread over five weeks. First and foremost, the staff are consistently nice. Every person I have seen working there has been really pleasant and they are always doing something seemingly productive.

The coffee has always been great. I know that's a subjective preference, and I am pretty ignorant on the flavor profiles coffee can have. My test for whether coffee is "good" is usually met when I can drink a coffee black or with minimal additives. I really enjoy the coffee here.

Finally, the tortas and bagels have been fantastic.

Genuinely my favorite coffee shop in Chicago right now! The espresso is great, the seasonal drink variety is great (I miss the cardamom rose summer latte!), the food and pastries are all excellent and the space itself is lovely. I always look forward to the mornings I get to visit.

Had the Aztec Mocha and it satisfied my sweet tooth. As an avid coffee drinker, I recognized a great base espresso at first sip. Their speciality drinks ask you to try them. I will definitely be going back and getting their cold brew to cool down on summer days.

Tried this place for the first time today. I had the Aztec mocha and almond croissant. Both were delicious. The barista was friendly and made our lattes perfectly! Will be returning.

Pilsen is so rich in culture and food. This is a cozy coffee shop where you get special treats and friendly service. I live people watching and seeing the "regulars" stay and chat. The ambiance is bright and welcoming! 💥

Great service! Love the atmosphere/energy. Enjoy the outdoor seating which is dog friendly (not enough of these places in the city so I appreciate this). But most importantly the coffee is delicious!

really liked my visit. It's not huge but pretty good for Chicago standards. Set up was pretty, music was interesting and maybe a little loud if you want to study, but I have sensitive hearing. Music if you want to listen to it is probably best coffee shop music I've heard 9it's in Spanish). Pretty chill place. I did have to order tea since there was no decaf. good amount of electrical sockets at least at the front where I was sitting. Time passed by really quickly and it's great they don't have that annoying bell at the front whenever someone walks in. Also good to be acknowledged as soon as you walk in.

Great spot to get work done. They have a printer/scanner/copier which is really a plus. Also extra power strips! Why don’t more coffee shops have that?! I got a hibiscus berry tea, it was delicious and they let me see and smell the fresh looseleaf tea before they made it. Incredibly friendly staff.

The place is really cool and comfortable. The coffee is delicious and affordable. Perfect place to hang out and chill. By the way, they also offer bottomless coffee for only $3.85 is that amazing. I love being here!

Really good Aztec Mocha. They use the Abuelitas cooking chocolate, as supposed to the Abuelitas powdered mix, which makes a huge difference in taste, authenticity and overall sweetness. They're breakfast sandwiches are really good, though personally I'd prefer to add a bit more heat to them :). Great service and selection of sweets.

Tasty stop for a drink, a treat, or a quick sandwich. I especially enjoy their coffee with lavender syrup! There's not too much room inside, but I'm always able to find a little spot to hunker down.

Latino owned coffee shop with great service and great quality drinks. Very pleasant to go read a book or work in there as well or take to go. Best oat matcha latte I've had.

It's relieving to finally have a good coffee place nearby. Bowtruss was extremely overpriced. Nitecap smelled weird. Jumping Bean is more a food stop for me. The service here is flawless and the prices are amazing. Cold brew seems to change which is refreshing.(no mr. Freeze pun intended)

I used to live in the area and would come here all the time for an iced matcha latte pick-me-up. I lived in Melrose Park now and I seriously still commute here for the chill environment and awesome food to get work done. Try a veggie sandwich paired with an iced matcha latte (w/ almond milk!)- you won't be disappointed. Super friendly staff as well!
