Damenzo's Pizza

visiting from texas, i had to try pizza up north & i wasn’t disappointed! the italian beef & sausage was PERFECT! the size was HUGE and adequately fitted the large crowd 💛 i loved the cozy, mom & pop vibes definitely worth the wait here!

We were visiting from out of town, and we were walking around and came across this hidden gem. The food is amazing, the workers are absolutely amazing . The portion sizes are very generous, so don't overorder. We made that mistake. However, it worked out because we had pizza for once we came home later that night. We had the specialty pizza, and the tacos 2 tacos is more than enough to completely fill you up.

Love cheesy pizza and these guys never miss. Finally found a new pizza spot around the Garfield Park neighborhood that does delivery. The service is also great.

Its been a favourite for years here is one good reason. The beefs are massive but look at this corn beef with fries

It's been a very long time since I last visited Damenzo's but for some strange reason, I had a desire for Demenzo's pizza today. So, I took the drive to satisfy my craving.
Since I wasn't aware if I can go in and order, I decided to order before going in. I called and spoke with the lady to place my order. She was nice, but she was kind of impatient and aggressive on the phone. Anyway, I went inside, she prepared my food, I got my food, paid for it and left. The guys at the counter were nice and pleasant.
Damenzo's still have that same vibe from back in the 80s & 90s. The pizza slices are still huge! The pizza is STILL delicious! 🍕Thank you, Damenzo's, for making my night a great one. I'll see you again soon. 🙏🏾❤🍕

I always purchase the slice, which is huge for $7. It's always nice and hot. They offer to cut your slice into smaller pieces.

First let me be clear I have eaten a ton of different pizzas. This pizza slaps (delicious). I would not call it Chicago tavern style it’s too thick for that. It is similar to Positano’s pizza on 55th St but this pizza is super fresh!

Great pizza and friendly staff. Don't look at their website for the menu because it's inaccurate and they have no intention on changing it, so call for prices. I paid a little more than I anticipated. That pizza was DA BOMB though!

Picked up large slices for me and my girl we ate on them all night during our Netflix and chill... The next day we still had some for brunch!

It was the best pizza and chicken Alfredo we have ever had if you go to Chicago Illinois definitely stop in and try it for yourself it was so worth it and that's no lie

When traveling I am sometimes leery of trying new places, but it's also part of the adventure. Damenzo's was a pleasant surprise. It's definitely an established local neighborhood joint with a seemingly odd combo of Italian and Mexican, but it doesn't only work - it ROCKS! The chorizo street taco is one of the best i've had anywhere in the US. My wife's enchiladas and rice were good, and the thin crust pizza was a perfect example of a neighborhood pie. It's a great little spot. Give them a try!

I had gotten an Italian beef sandwich with mozzarella cheese and hot peppers dipped with cheese fries let me tell you they Italian beef sandwiches is out of this world it’s perfectly seasoned and it’s very fulfilling they give you enough the mozzarella cheese was melted on top of the beef just the way I like it and it was dipped just right it’s a bang for your buck one of the best Italian beef sandwiches I ever had and the cheese fries was very good also they use the skin fries and nacho cheese was so good it goes perfect with the fries it was my first time coming I will definitely be back

Great old time classic Italian bakery Best subs in the city classic Italian bread selection plus best Italian cookies of any bakery Italian ice is tart and refreshing!

Not a bad pizza place in a neighborhood that was pretty inviting. The pizza could’ve used a little bit more sauce but I was there pretty late so I was impressed with the quality that they still had available

Damenzo's have to be my first stop whenever I arrive in Chicago! I ordered the same thing every time and that's the cheesy beef ,super soaked, with hot peppers and don't forget to change the bread to garlic bread! You'll thank me later!!💯🤤

For the amount you pay, you get so much food. It is almost too much of a good deal. If you are in the West Side of Chicago, this is the place to go.

Damenzo's Pizza is one of the most undercover pizza places in the whole damn city of Chicago. I read a lot of different pizza experts review all these different places and they always favor pizza places that are located on the Northside of Chicago or downtown Chicago but that's truly not fair to places like Damenzos and others. Damenzos have quite a few things to choice from on the menu. The pizza is great. Their pizza puff is HUGE! You have to almost take 3 days to finish eating it. Their Italian beef needs to be on the news for how delicious it is. Plus the tons of other foods and meats they have available. Damenzo's is on Taylor Street, west of UIC (the university of Chicago). If you're getting some food from here, I strongly suggest calling your order in because they make the food fresh and sometimes you can find yourself waiting a nice minute for your food to get prepared. All and all Damenzo's is one of the top pizza places in Chicago. If you haven't ever had them, you have to try them!!! Five Stars!!!!

I grew up having dinner at this same restaurant. I raised my four Children at this same place. You can still buy a couple of meals and feed your whole family. Really came in handy during tight times. Not I'm treating my Grandchildren .

5/22/22 - Stopped in for a quick bite and LOVED how big the slices are!! Only $6 each, filling and delicious. Highly recommended.
