Candlewood Suites Peoria at Grand Prairie, an IHG Hotel

Very clean, modern and comfortable. Staff is very attentive and competent. No pool, but free laundry and exercise room. They offer free coffee anytime and offer easy to prepare items at reasonable prices.

When coming to the area, this is my go-to place.

Great stay. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Loved the updated kitchen and very comfy bed. It's clear that most guests are long-term construction workers as there were often muddy boot tracks. Oh, and free laundry, which was awesome !!

I have a long association with this hotel - stayed for 16 months in 2015-17 and recently for a week both on business trips.
I was surprised to see people could recognize their old customers!

The hotel has been revamped and looks more classy. Mandy, the GM of hotel, takes extra effort to make customers have a great stay.

The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but the rates are quite reasonable too.

The hotel's location is also quite convenient. You find Grand Prairie mall and CEFCU across the street. Located right on the expressway, this is one among only few hotels which you encounter on your drive from airport to Peoria city.

A definite recommendation from my side.

Recently remodeled, all new inside. Very nice, located off of Rt 6 on north end, close to Hyvee and the interstate.
Easy access into Peoria on 150/War Memorial.
Free waters and coffee, and inexpensive snacks and drinks available in lobby.
Weight room, laundry room.
Always a pleasant stay when we visit town.

Great location in the city. Close to shopping, and The Sluggers sports center. This location has been recently remodeled. The room is updated nicely. Everything is fresh and new. Full size refrigerator and dishwasher in the room. Nice indoor exercise area. The general managers name is Mandy she was very nice and helpful. New pictures of the entire remodel will be on their website soon.

I don't often write reviews of hotels, but in my many years as a "road warrior" for my job everything about this place was exceptional. The room and the kitchen had all the little details and amenities to make one feel more at home. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room service was done with care. I even checked out at 3pm and wasn't charged for that night. Hats off, and thanks for everything candlewood suites Peoria.

We stayed here because our house burned down. The general manager, and her husband (who also works here) are two of the nicest people that I've met in a long time. They definitely go above and beyond to make you comfortable and get you everything you need. The other staff I've come in contact with are also nice and helpful. The rooms are so nice, and clean. By the front desk they have a large cabinet full of things you can borrow. There's also a nice store they have where you can buy all kinds of stuff.

I'm picky; If I can't find something to complain about no one can. I have no complaints about this hotel. Our stay was perfect. The room was spotless and the staff was exceptional. They were very accommodating of a last minute request and made us feel very welcome. The beds were cozy and the room had no odors. Our room was quiet as well. A+

One of the better hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The staff is some of the friendliest people I’ve meet. The rooms are clean and come with a lot of amenities. In fact, they even give you a free bag of popcorn. The hotel also allows dogs. Overall it was a great stay and would do it again!

I enjoyed my stay at candlewood suites. The night auditor was very friendly and explained their services and amenities with great details. They off free water and popcorn and DVDs. Hotel is designed to accommodate extended stays and even though I stayed overnight it felt comparable to home.

This hotel is fabulous! The staff is so polite and quick to get what you need. The rooms have everything you need from dish soap to pots and pans and awesome shampoo and conditioner. The beds are comfortable and they have actual cable. I will definitely be back.

Very easy to get to and friendly service they are in the middle of renovations in about half of the hotel but the disruptive nature is kept far away from rented rooms I would recommend for any long term stays lasting even a month full kitchen and full size refrigerator dish washer dinette sets plates silverware cups glasses you name it

This location and hotel exceeded our expectations. Our weekend was one turn of bad luck after another with vehicle problems and other issues. The staff went out of their way twice to go above their responsibilities. I was so grateful to have a nice place to stay with our 4 month old chocolate lab.
I will always look to stay at a Candlewood Suites in future travels.

Hotel on the internet was rated at 2 Stars. He called and talked to the room Clerk I explain what she had and I asked her straight out if the rooms were nice we're traveling for a couple days to be here and she says I will take my personal commitment but the rooms are nice and you make a look at any of the rooms to guarantee that. When we arrive we felt comfortable at the newness of the building the way they had it laid out they gave free water free coffee free popcorn and had their sodas and chips and everything at super super reasonable prices and this is even before we got to our room and we got to our room. Room bathroom look exceptionally clean frigerator, microwave, stove and sink, plenty of storage for clothes dining room table and Lighting. Only staying two days but it would be bring some weed to vacation in this hotel. Outstanding in this hotel

Awesome customer service. Super friendly and accommodating. We travel to Peoria often for softball. We always stay here. We left a jersey behind recently and the staff drove it to the UPS store and shipped it within a couple of hours, then texted me the tracking number! Will always stay here when we are in town.

Outstanding amenities, very very friendly staff. Multiple employees were willing to answer any questions we had. Well stocked, and very clean!! Also a fair price! We will be staying in a Candlewood Suites again and hopefully soon!

Great hotel! Staff was very friendly and helpful, I love that the rooms have a kitchenette, allows you to save money and cook for yourself. My room was very clean and in good condition.

If your staying in Peoria, this is your best choice. The staff is amazingly friendly. We stay in lots of hotels due to my daughter playing travel softball. And this has been one of best experiences we have encountered. We will definitely return here anytime we are in the area

No idea why the bad reviews, I stay in a lot of hotels n this place is great! Super clean, spacious rooms, great little kitchen, super clean, full size bath products, dvd player, super clean, 4 pillows, comfy beds, even a bag of popcorn in the microwave! And did I mention super clean??
