We made this a stop on our winter road trip to see the Body Worlds exhibit. The exhibit was amazing! I could have spent all day in there! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The museum itself is very clean and well laid out. The other attractions were good as well.

What a great place for a day visit. The staff was incredible and made everyone feel welcome. The kids' movie on the weekend was fun for the whole family, and then it was followed by a visit from Belle. The whole crowd loved it. Now that we're at the end of the holiday season, the shop has been a lot of fun with the kids. The highlight of the museum would be the Body Works exhibit. Very educational.

There is always some new exciting exhibit to check out. They have a wonderful planetarium show. There are galleries full of different, interesting pieces to learn about. They have different groups that put on interactive activities in the main area from time to time. The underground parking is convenient for cars. They also have streeside parking.

We had a wonderful time here! We saw the folk art, and we went to the planetarium, which was a real treat! The bodies exhibit is there right now, it will only be there till the 9th.

I took my family to the festival last night & it was amazing! Kudos to Peoria for going all out on this ( they even had cozy blankets set out on all the benches)

The BODY exhibit is spectacular, and there is so much more to do here--exhibits/movies to see!! Watching the 4th of July fireworks here proved to be an excellent venue.
This is a must-see museum, and not just once. You will definitely want to keep going back!

Nice cultural events and so much more! Art, music, all positive vibes! The Black Tower was planned very well! The President of the museum was out and about, nice friendly things to do! Preston Jackson was amongst us, a very down to earth brilliant Artist! Spoken word by Brandon Williams. Sometimes the events are free!

My children love to visit, their current favorite exhibit to talk about is the CPR simulator! The rotation of featured exhibits and events keep us coming back. My husband enjoys the light shows in the planetarium. The gift shop is very fun and well priced. This museum is apart of Museums For All!

Went and saw the BodyWorksRx installation. It was very nice and done very well. Had a great educational component to it. We went on a weekday over Christmas break. And, although I would say it was busy, it wasn't crowded.

Appeared here for the Teddy Bear Foundation to raise money and awareness of PI. The Peoria Riverfront Museum is a modern well staffed facility with exhibits that change often, the LARGEST movie screen in Illinois, gift shop, free close parking, handicapped accessible entrance, snack bar, and all the facilities you would expect. Everything was clean, well organized and the staff was friendly, helpful, attentive and available. For my part we had a great troop and the foundation had a great turn out.

My daughter came in from PA and it was the first time we had been to the museum to see Body World. It was an amazing exhibit. I will definitely return and likely become a regular visitor.

Love this museum! We watched an astronomy show and the show guide is very knowledgeable and explained the show so well. We were impressed. The moon exhibition was very nice too. I enjoyed this experience.

It is an excellent small size museum with exceptional arts and science exhibits. Surprisingly, it has an IMAX dome theater playing educational science movies related to human, planet, universe. The musuem often hosts science events to allow youngster to play with robot and build interesting things.

Exhibits rotate regularly so one may visit the museum on different occasions to see what exhibits are on display. The museum offers bus tours to see the city of Peoria. Check website for dates and prices. They also have a theatre that costs separate from the museum entrance ticket. The movies are always educational and appropriate for the family.

We attended the Harlem and Bronzeville Renaissance night. Gregory Stewart Jr. did an amazing job, and his talent is palpable. The sculpture created by Preston Jackson was thought provoking and inspiring; there was scenery of black folks in their own community thriving and living after migrating from the south.

Peoria Riverfront Museum is one of our favorite places to go ever since *before* we started dating. 🥰 We have been eager to visit the T. Rex Exhibit since before it arrived and finally got to on July 11th. When we walked in and bought our tickets, we were surprised with the new changes they had made since the last time we were their pre-pandemic (March 2020). The room where they had their interactive area for littles, teens, adults was where the T. Rex Exhibit laid and I was so happy for this change! 👏🏼 Plus, I’d like to give a shoutout to the young man manning the entrance into the exhibit that day. He was showcasing one of the stegosaurus toys you could purchase at the gift shop and was very friendly and easy to talk to before we entered the exhibit and 1.5 hours later when we exited. Please give that young man kudos from me (July 11, 2021 3:30pm-5pm). Can’t wait to see what’s in store next!!
