Residence Inn by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown

Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed the room and location. Parking is super easy and the breakfast here is one of the better hotel breakfasts I've had. But also, in a world of diminishing customer service, I was really impressed by how kind and awesome so many of the staff here are. Specifically Bre was a lifesaver helping us navigate our stress about a delayed flight and coming in late. She ensured that we had a great room and no headaches checking in despite things not going according to plan. Thank you Bre!

I called the day of our reservation as well as a week before to confirm some questions I had and Bre was amazing each time I called. Spacious and comfortable room. Front desk was very helpful. Easy to get to any of our locations. Lime bikes out front are super convenient.

Hospitality at its finest! Bre at the front desk was super accommodating and even gave us a personalized list of restaurant recommendations around town. Any company would be lucky to have Bre on their staff.

It's a very nice place, has great security (can't get near the rooms without a card key) and is centered downtown. Much better than I thought it was going to be.

Lisa was great. She was very calm and helpful with every guest interaction.

We encountered a major life-threatening emergency that required some of our family to be at the University of Utah Hospital for an extended period of time.
After the explaining our situation, the staff took such amazing care of us and did so much to help us.
We are very grateful for their service and cooperation with our changing situation.
Plu, this is an excellent place to stay no matter the situation. Great rooms, bed, amenities, and breakfast!

I enjoyed my time here, and the location is right at the center of SLC, so there’s lots of great places to visit nearby. All the staff members were very friendly and welcoming—Suzan in particular was a pleasure to talk with! I had a small issue related to my work, but she was able to handle the problem in a jiffy! Keep up the good work 💪👏

Rooms were amazing, spotless, very nice and outdoor balconies were great! Front desk staff was very friendly, helpful and always had a smile. Location was easy to get to and get around town from. Hot and cold breakfast included every morning was very good! Coffee was excellent, too! Best place to stay!

This is a great hotel with suites. WE have stayed here twice and enjoyed both times. It gave us enough room to move around, has a full kitchen, living room area, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The breakfast was the only thing that wasn't great this year. There were mostly prepackaged items, oatmeal, some fruit.

Susan at the front desk is an amazing young lady! She was cheerful, polite, and upbeat. I wasn't even staying at the hotel and she treated me with utter kindness and generosity. She went out of her way to help a guest that came before me in every way possible. I will definitely be staying here in the future and I will recommend this place to everyone I know who is visiting SLC simply because Susan is amazing! Thank you very much Susan for the water and your professionalism, kindness, and beautiful upbeat personality! That is exactly what someone would want after traveling for hours! Absolutely amazing!

Great stay. This place was spotless inside me out. Someone was always cleaning. Breakfast was very good

This hotel might be in the middle of Salt Lake City, but building 2 was very quiet, comfy, and I slept well. I have a gluten allergy, so I like staying at this hotel chain because of the large breakfast selection. I eat the best at Residence Inn by Marriott. The exercise center was in the same building so I enjoyed having this nearby. The staff are always friendly and treat you like family.
The rooms are very spacious with a full kitchen to eat in if you like but the cities restaurants are endless.
Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely!

Stayed here 3 weeks and can say I highly recommend it. Suzan at the front desk consistently goes above and beyond to make every interaction positive and support guests and staff alike. Didn’t have a single issue that she couldn’t resolve quickly and respectfully!

Beautiful redesign. Rooms were modern and clean. Service was so nice and helpful. Ten dollar parking was resonable for a downtown location. There is some street noise of course with this type of location. Thank you Clarisa!

Check in process was amazing — big shout out to Brea —- she made the process quick and is one of the best Marriott front desk/check in colleagues I’ve encountered
