I’ve had the pleasure of getting a cut in this joint by multiple stylists.
They all offer their own flavor and style but still take the time to cater to your wants and needs.
Each stylist has clearly dedicated time and passion to have earned their own chair in this place, and it shows.

Not only do they send their clients out the door looking good , they send them on their way FEELING GOOD!
They want to get to know you. They want to talk to you… and for me that means a lot.

I had my first cut with Celeste today, she spent a lot of time on my consultation and really listened to what I wanted. She worked quickly and was very friendly to talk to. The shop had a very nice vibe and the price was right. The haircut was perfect. I just found my new barber!

Sent my partner in to Celeste and she did a great job with his hair. He’s got amazing salt n pepper wavy hair and she cut it so it lays so nice. I’ll be sending my teen boys in, too!

I have recently become a client of the Brookfield Barber within the past fews months.  I have gotten my last several haircuts from Vivian which has been amazing.  Her attention to detail has been incredible, and she really takes time to listen to the clients requests.  She is also super fun to talk to and makes getting a haircut really fun.  I will definitely be a returning client going forward.

I go twice a month for a line up and a beard trim. Rodney is the best in the area.

Brookfield Barber is a quaint, old-fashioned, neighborhood barber with friendly, professional staff and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Easy to make online appointments, beverages while you wait, and staff that are dedicated to their craft. I used to go to Floyd's in La Grange which is about 3 blocks from our home, but now drive all the way to Brookfield because it's that much better. (Floyd's has become more focused on throughput, which has turned off a lot of the more skilled staff, and now the staff is a bit more transient. A lot of the good Floyd's people from before are now at Brookfield Barber)

For as long as I shall live...in Brookfield, I'll go to this place to get my hair cut. Ashley is a talented stylist she went above and beyond to make sure I get the perfect haircut to my exact specifications and now I trust her to get my next haircut to her recommendation. Looking forward to it, thank you!

I'm so glad I found this place! I moved to the nearby area after having been a city dweller for many years. I wasn't having much luck finding a salon that fit the aesthetic I was looking for. I found Brookfield Barber on Facebook, followed their Instagram page and scheduled with Karen. She is so friendly, talented and funny and I loved the cut she gave me. I think I found my go-to salon and the shop is super cute to boot!

The absolute best barbershop / salon in the area! Sarah is a master and the most talented barber I’ve ever let cut my hair! Never a bad haircut or a moment of anxiety or regret!!! Please don’t risk your style or waste your time and money by going to flo*ds!

Staff is extremely friendly. My go to barber has always been Mike but I would recommend booking ahead since he is always booked a month in advance. If you can't manage to get in with Mike, Jessa does just as an amazing job. Been following Mike and Jessa since they worked at Floyd's in Lagrange. These guys take great pride in there work and you'll definitely see it when there done with you.

Just walked out with the best haircut I think I’ve ever had. Sarah took great care of me, took time to listen to what I wanted, and took her time on every step of the cut. Not to mention her great conversation and taste of music! This is my second time here, and will definitely be a regular. Thanks again! :)

If you’re searching for that place you’ll keep coming back to for years to come, where haircuts are something you genuinely look forward to, it’s The Brookfield Barber. I am a longtime client of Sarah’s and, when she moved from my neighborhood in Old Town out to Brookfield to open shop, there was simply no question I would start making the trip to continue seeing her. That’s the level of quality you’ll find here. What’s more, there isn’t a single Barber/Stylist here who will give you anything less than an exceptional experience. Recently, I’ve only been able to make it out on Sundays and, due to scheduling during that time, have seen Victoria who has been incredible. Sarah knows what she’s doing, both with a pair of scissors as well as with running a business. This translates to a consistency in excellence across the board with her team members. Give this place a shot - you will not be disappointed.

I haven't been to a legit barbershop since I was a kid. Found this place after researching on Google. I booked a appointment with Molina. Awesome interaction from the very beginning to the end. Very informative on what he was doing as well. You definitely get what you pay for here. He cleaned me up and lined my up very well. Also very clean and precautionary with the whole covid pandemic going on. This will be my new go to in the area after today's experience you won't be disappointed. Check them out for sure!

I've been getting my hair cut at the Brookfield Barber for about a year. The place is clean and the barbers/stylists I've had have all been great. As a guy without much style I always ask for help on what to do with my hair and they always give a great suggestion, cut and style. I also like that I don't feel like the barbers/stylists are trying to rush me out of the door (like previous places I've been). Highly recommended!

Sarah the owner and my stylist, is a find. It is so hard to find someone who cuts my hair as well as Sarah. She not only is great at cutting hair but she also helps you make the best style choice. She is the perfect stylist for the "I don't know what to do with my hair" guy and by the end of your appointment, you're amazed at her work and excited to show your family, friends, SO. The shop is clean and stylists are always on time. I can not recommend this place enough.

This is a wonderful, new gem in Brookfield. It's calm, and hip, and professional and fun. The stylists are all incredibly kind, social and cool people. We have gone to Vivian for years and I'm so happy to follow her here. One of my sons is on the spectrum and he won't go in a loud, stimulating place..... he prefers at-home haircuts but they don't always look so hot. He went in, got a hair cut from Vivian, and headed out looking and feeling like a rock star! Thank you to everyone at the Brookfield Barber.

Mark is my guy - he always recalls every little detail about my haircut, and makes small adjustments over time to make improvements to create efficiencies where possible. Mark always remembers me, somehow, and is a great guy to talk to as well. He's cut my son's hair before, too, and does great with kids. Hats off to The Brookfield Barber!
