La Fountain Mexican Restaurant

I came in for lunch and ordered the beef enchiladas with rice and beans. What a delicious meal. The fresh salsa and chips were good enough that I had to ask for seconds. My meal was so good that I decided to take my whole family in for dinner. My boys loved their burrito and tacos. My wife had the steak fajitas, and she is a picky eater. Her meal was delicious and the fajitas are huge! Kids eat free Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings! We ordered the mini churros with fried ice cream. What a great sweet treat and enough to feed all of us. The atmosphere is awesome! The entire restaurant is clean and the food is delicious! I highly recommend this place!

Exactly what one might expect of a Tex/mex restaurant. No frills. Doing what they do well. Clean. Spanish music playing. Friendly staff. My grilled chicken taco salad was not over-seasoned. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with salt/pepper, and was very juicy. The lecture was crunchy and fresh. The taco shell bowl was crunchy, flaky, and fresh. The guacamole was bright green and fresh. The salsa was good and not spicy. The bottled salsa has a wonderful flavor and spice to it. The sour cream was fresh.

Friendly staff, amazing seasoned chips and delicious cheese tortillas! The big plus for me is that they served Horchata!!!! Mexican food places aren’t legit in my book without the stuff.

The food and service made our visit to this mom and pop Mexican restaurant an exceptional one. I was surprised when I got the bill for a party of 6 and it was just a little over $100.00. Totally worth it and I would recommend it to you.

Got the food it was great service and very nice people as well they did get the food wrong but up for it the next day and no question ask. Most place want you to have a receipt and bring food back in

Incredible food, great service and the atmosphere is even better. The decor is rich and authentic, the music brings a vibe that reminds you of home. It's wonderful! The salsa you get with the chips is incredible too!!

Great food and fast service, even at 3 pm!

I ordered two large combinations for me and mom, tons of food and very delicious, the Chile Verde was excellent and the red sauce had just the right amount of heat. I'll be having the other half for dinner. Very reasonable prices and great quality 🤘

I love coming here! I used to come every week when I worked close by. The service is always excellent and we don't have to way forever for our food. I've even done take-out and it's just as great.

My go to order here EVERY TIME is their Wednesday special. It's a smothered burrito with cheese on top and a side of rice and beans.

They NEVER disappoint when I have that smothered burrito craving. It comes out perfect every time.

At first I was skeptical about eating at this establishment as it didn’t appear to seem like a suitable, and desiring place to dine in. My experience here was abundantly pleasant. The staff was marvelous, the manger was quick to resolve any issues with their customers. I ingested, and highly recommend the Smothered Cheese Burrito. I demolished that platter in a manner of seconds. I have come to find the premise to be polished and reputable. I anticipate to come here again.

Me and my wife go here when we're in the mood for some good Mexican food and a quiet atmosphere. The staff are very polite and friendly and make sure you're happy and leave with a full belly! Highly recommend trying it out! Also a good place if you want to go with a lot of friends or family because its never super crowed!

Every time I come to Salt Lake City this is a must!!! Literally my favorite Mexican food anywhere I have been! I've never had Chili Verde like it anywhere else. Their homemade hot sauce is amazing!

This is THE BEST Mexican restaurant in the Salt Lake Valley. Absolutely delicious food. Try the combination platter! You won't be disappointed. The service is fantastic as well. The wait staff is friendly and attentive without being over-bearing. And the place is VERY clean. I went close to closing one night and was very pleased to see the staff doing a very thorough job when cleaning. Even pulling tables away from the walls to wipe down and do the floors.

Delicious food and large portions! My husband loves their menudo. I had the guacamole tostada and a chile rellenos. They were tasty. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. We have been getting food to go and we all like it. I especially like the Chiles rellenos as do my husband and son. The Chile Verde enchiladas and burritos are tasty as is the cheese enchilada. Their hot sauce is really good. We really appreciate the young man who patiently takes our order each time and makes sure it is correct before we leave.
