B & B Hardware

B & B is always stocked with everything I need for every small project. The prices are in line with what's charged at the big box stores. Their staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly!

This is a great hardware store to quickly get handyman supplies. It’s a bit more expensive than Menards, but the convenience is worth it. And! The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

Love this place. They have a little of everything, and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. A little more expensive than the big box stores on some stuff, but comparable prices on other stuff. I’ll gladly pay a few more pennies to get significantly better customer service and employees who are knowledgeable about hardware and home-improvement. Plus, I can be in and out in no time versus the predictably long lines at the big box stores. B&B is one of my favorite stores in general, and I highly recommend them!!

I enter through the doors and had the most wonderful welcome. Someone immediately acknowledged my appearance and was eager to direct me where I needed to go! Better yet, not 30 foot from the first acknowledgement, I had a wonderful young man help with all that I needed! This has been the best experience at any hardware store! I Will be back B&B! I'm always thankful for this store. The staff is knowledgeable. They can be pricier than the larger stores, but I'm always happy to pay the extra price for the convenience. They have great selection especially when you consider the size of the store. I hope they stay open for many years.

This is a true hardware store. Friendly and knowledgeable staff members are always willing to help you find what you need. Unlike the minimally-trained goofballs at the big box stores, B&B staff members really know hardware. Prices may be slightly higher than the big box stores; but not enough to make it worth my time/gas to drive over to Moline and fight the traffic and crowds. The convenience, personal service, and knowledgeable staff at B&B are worth any small difference in price.

Handy hardware store that's well stocked and usually gets me in and out quickly. The employees are usually quite knowledgeable, and always willing to help.

B&B sometimes surprises me with odd restrictions. Be sure to ask in advance about unusual transactions, even if you don't think that there would be any problem. Small things have caught me up like their refusal to accept cash for transactions over a given dollar amount.

B&B Hardware is as close to a old fashioned hometown store as you can get. You are greeted as you walk in and within a few steps, a staff member will ask you how they can help. This store is my go to for renting tools and equipment. Today I brought knives to be sharpened. It took just a few minutes and a few dollars to get that done. I also brought in a pair of scissors. Those will need to be sent out. Not sure why it cost as much to sharpen one pair of scissors as it does for three knives though. So head on down to the hardware store. It sure beats the big box stores for service.

B&B has the best staff hands down. There are several young people who are great at customer service and helping my clueless self finish projects.
