Westend Barbers West Valley City

I’ve been to this barbershop twice and will continue to go back. They were giving out donuts the last time I went in so that was a nice surprise.

The first time I went I got my cut from Josh and the second time was from Jr. both were very professional and friendly. Both were straight to the point and put a ton of attention into understanding what I wanted and producing a great haircut.

The barbers and the shop are good conversationalist so I did not feel any awkwardness. It’s very comfortable to chat with the barbers or to just relax and enjoy the cut.

I did the normal hair and beard cut both times. Just a standard cut with no frills. But they lined me up really well and took the time to make sure everything was just right.

This barbershop isn’t putting on a show. They care for their clients and want the focus to be on their product: great haircuts.

I had an exceptional experience at Westend Barber today. Josh expertly trimmed my unruly beard, transforming it from a shrubbery to a well-manicured masterpiece. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff friendly, and the shop impeccably clean. My appointment started promptly, and Josh's attention to detail was impressive. I'll certainly be returning whenever my beard needs taming again. Highly recommend!

Great barber shop. Every time I have been in, I have gotten a great cut. My son also prefers we go there over any other shop. Great atmosphere and awesome staff.

Been going to Westend for quite a few years now and the guys always do a great job on my hair. Today however, it was my first time with Junior and he gave me the BEST haircut that I have ever had in my 50+ years of getting it cut! Definitely found my new go to person down there. Thanks again!

I’ve been coming to this shop since I moved here in 2018. Aside from the constant booty I get after a haircut and beard trim from Josh, there is absolute professionalism across the board provided by him. Great conversationalist and he will not point you in the wrong direction of what look will or won’t work for your specific needs.

After my barber of many years retired I have been shopping around for a new barber, most if them were so so. I tried this shop based on good reviews and got Jason. Not only was this the best haircut since my other one retired, but maybe the best one ever. I'll be going back.

Went there for the first time and jr did my hair cut. Jr did a great job and made sure that I was very happy with the results. Jr was very professional and very friendly. I will be back again for my next hair cut.

Josh is a great barber. The shop is welcoming. Over the last 10+ years only one other has cut my hair and that's because Josh was out of town.

I started bringing my son in March 2020, prior to COVID closures, for a proper barber. At almost 14 yrs old, I felt like I was doing a disservice by taking him to my hairdresser (mom fail).

Jayson has been incredible and my son loves his haircut every single time. We go about every 3-4 weeks due to fast hair growth and my son leaves looking sharp. Jayson remembers how he likes his hair and was great from the get go at suggesting ways to trim his hair to ensure no spikey odd spots due to a couple small cowlicks. Jayson pays attention.
I love online booking and the atmosphere of the shop. Although my son goes in alone since April, I know he feels far more comfortable about going in no matter what.
I cannot recommend Westend enough for hair and beard (I've seen beard trims in actin and it's badass).

I brought my two very picky high school boys into Josh for haircuts. They absolutely loved everything about this place from the rustic decor, chill people, to the friendly dog politely greeting everyone. Their cuts were exactly what they asked for. Josh gave them the best haircuts they have ever had!! He is a master of his craft!!

I would highly reccomend Westend to anyone needing a haircut and beard trim. It is hard to find a good barber these days that actually listens to how you want your hair cut. Josh did a great job and made sure I was satisfied before I left. The shop is clean and the conversation was great. Next time I'm in town I will definitely be stopping by.

To start off with the environment felt very warm and welcoming which always makes the experience more enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and that's something I appreciate because it makes you feel comfortable.The dog Duke was friendly and a sweetheart, so how could you not enjoy having a dog around while getting your haircut. Overall, a wonderful place to go get a haircut and I would go back again. The haircut was great I never really know what I want but Josh did a fantastic job regardless.

Went in to get my head shaved and a beard trim for a wedding. Josh was amazing and trimmed everything up just how I wanted it! Will definitely come back here

My brother has multiple deep scars on the back of his head and a huge scar in the front where the front is shaped like a letter L. My brother has a disability and one of his disability is that he has short term memory due to an accident. Every time he see’s the scars he relives those memories when explained to him. We’ve tried multiple barbershop around Utah and none has ever succeeded. You really can’t see the scars and that’s what we were aiming for. It’s the only reason why I’m posting his pics. Overall I’d have to say when my husband brought my brother back he was on cloud nine … he loved it and my whole fams did too. The owner knew what we wanted and he came through. Thank you so much Josh.

Junior doesn’t play around! My barber (Junior) did a marvelous job of clearly understanding my exact wants/requests for a haircut and a hot shave. As I just spent a couple of weeks on the road, I was looking pretty “scraggly”. Junior cleaned me up and got me looking proper, for my arrival home. This is THE BEST REAL BARBERSHOP 💈 around. The barbershop itself is very clean and well maintained. It is a VETERAN OWNED/OPERATED business. Semper Fidelis!

I've been back a couple of times...and will keep going back! I go to either Josh or Jayson, both are awesome. I have watched lil kids to adults, get treated like Rock stars. All the Barbers are great and they treat people right!

The environment right off the bat was amazing! All the people were really awesome and the experience with Josh was 10/10. Great conversation and services too. The haircut I got was exactly what I asked for and my beard had never looked so shaped up.
I also have to point out that I bought a hoodie there because Josh provided such amazing customer service and the hoodie is a 5 star itself, great fit and great quality.
Will return again.

the most amazing haircut you'll ever have! I love coming here! Their mascot, a Labradoodle (I think) is VERY FRIENDLY - if it bothers you, you must be evil cause dogs are awesome!
I'll admit, this is one of those places that you don't want to tell anyone about because then EVERYONE will come here! They are literally best I have found at a reasonable price with such attention to detail. They listen closely to what you want and double check as they cut to ensure it's the perfect cut for you. Staff is amazing! Not sure why there are any reviews on here less than 5 star reviews. Staff made me feel at home. Brought my son to share this outstanding experience and now we won't go anywhere else! They even fixed the HUGE problem that (large chain franchise) made and educated my son on best methods to care for his cut.
Seriously, if you are getting your hair cut anywhere else, you might as well just wear a hat all the time!
