I cannot praise Dr. Michiels and his staff enough. Outside of everyone always being professional, polite and welcoming, Dr Michiels is an awesome dentist. I just had 2 front crowns replaced, that were pretty old. When I saw the new crowns in my mouth, I cried. They are absolutely beautiful! Great dental practice.

I have been going to Dr. Michiels for 20 years and he is fantastic. I always get a thorough cleaning using the latest technology. He is concerned with patient comfort and does his best to minimize any discomfort. He did a front tooth crown for me 15 years ago which still matches perfectly and is indistinguishable from a real tooth. I highly recommend him.

I've moved around a lot during my life, so I've seen many dentists. Dr. Michiels is without a doubt the best dentist I've ever had. I moved recently, but I've kept him as my dentist even though it's a bit of drive. He's been my dentist for the last 8 years, and I'll keep seeing him for as long as possible. You can't go wrong with him, plus, he has a great, competent, friendly staff!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Terence Michiels and his staff! Our children had a handful of problems with their teeth and I can atest to the fact that north shore dental is really amazing. Doc is a magician. From children to the elderly, he is incredible with every age and any procedure. Our family has been patients of Dr. Michiels for 20 years. From root canals to bonding, fillings to whitening there is little that this practice does NOT do. Doc is amazing and I would recommend him to everyone I know.

I have dental anxiety and Dr. Michiels did an amazing job on making me feel calm. The staff is great as well. There is plenty of work to be done with my teeth and I am positive on the outcome.

Dr. Michiels goes above and beyond to limit the amount of pain and discomfort you experience to the absolute minimum. The quality of the dental work I've received is nothing short of first rate. After six months of being sent to multiple specialists for the same issue and getting no where, I am very lucky and extremely grateful to have been referred to the marvelous Dr. Michiels.

Thanks to his treatment plan he curated for me, he was able to eradicate all my pain COMPLETELY. My agony is GONE, and I can now have my life back thanks to his knowledge and care.

I also immediately knew I was in good has from the moment I walked into his office. I was treated very kindly and gently. Here- you are actually listened too. You’re seen as a real human being and not just another patient. The bedside manor is clearly taken very seriously at his establishment, something that has been lost at many other places.

The best dentist I have ever had. He uses high quality materials for his crowns, unlike my previous dentists. He also does an amazing job when cleaning teeth. His prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend him.

Dr Michiels is by far the best and nicest person/dentist I have ever met. He is very honest and will go the extra mile for you. Normally I do not post reviews (usually too busy) but Dr Michiels went out of his way for me and took care of a tooth of mine when I was in desperate need. A review is the least I can do to thank him… if you are in need of a dentist or looking for a new one PLEASE reach out to his office (you will be taken care of like no other office would ever do, and you’ll never look back).

Dr. Michiels has been my Dentist for the past 4 years while I've been residing in the Chicago area for school. He has been nothing but hospitable and understanding during this time with regards to different scheduling challenges I have had due to medical school, and difficulties with my insurance.

Dr. Michiels is the most professional dentist as well as knowledgeable one I have ever seen. He found dental problems that were missed by other dentists in spite of my ongoing visits and complaints to those dentists. Dr. Michiels spends time diagnosing and listens to his patients! He works with my other doctors to coordinate his treatment too! Highly recommend him to everyone. Love his staff also, they go out of there way to be sure I am comfortable. Dr. Michiels is amazing! He was the first dentist I'd seen in years due to fear and amount of work needed. He has a way of making me comfortable so I'd keep coming back in for my appointments. He did amazing things for my messed up teeth. We moved away a few years ago to the Pacific Northwest but next month we will be in the midwest so I will be coming back to see him again eventhough I'll be a state away.

I had a great experience at this office. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was impressed by how thorough, experienced, and educative Dr. Michiels was. I unfortunately had to get some cavities filled, and the experience was pain free and took no time at all. This office also utilizes special type of tool, which google told me is a magnetostrictive ultrasonic scaler, to clean teeth. It is much more efficient and effective than the traditional scratching and scrapping method. I highly recommend North Shore Dental Care.

My wife went in super anxious and nauseous about going to the dentist and came out feeling great. They even invited me back to comfort her and sit through the procedure when they could tell she was stressed out. I am very excited that she found such a great new dentist. All the reviews are true, he was fantastic and he even took our Tricare Dental Plan which is not easy to deal with. Don't be put off by all the fish decorations in the office, he is fantastic and very professional yet approachable and easy to talk to.

I saw Dr. Michiels for the first time this week. I am almost 70 years old and I have never had a Dr. apologize for not seeing me exactly at my scheduled time. Actually, he was only late by 15 minutes at the most. My experience was very positive and Dr. Terry now has another new patient.
