Copita was a 10/10 experience and probably one of the best meals I’ve had in recent memory. I arrived super early so had my pick of the seats at the bar and the staff were amazing. Super friendly and chatty and bartender was great at his craft making delicious mezcal cocktails. I had the artichoke app, focaccia bread with garlic oil (complementary) and the halibut with risotto for my entree. The halibut was the flaky salty lemony goodness that I’ve had nowhere else. The risotto was something I could never replicate even if I tried. And then the chocolate hazelnut mousse to top it all off was *chefs kiss*. This place is not to be missed. I’m bummed I’ve never been before now, but will certainly be back. Stop by if your visiting the area, you won’t be disappointed!

We were looking for a nice place for dinner away from all tourists and found this little gem.
Very warm and homey atmosphere. Service was very friendly and professional.
Food was outstanding! The gnocchi with wild mushrooms… amazing! Roasted sunchokes and Brussels sprouts with the maple and mustard glaze…. Ridiculous! My son has his ribeye med well (the chef probably died a little having to prepare it this way) was perfect. My butter poached lobster done to perfection as well.
The mango with mango sorbet, coconut foam and roasted coconut on top was the perfect ending.
Very well done guys! My family had a perfect meal before heading back home tomorrow.

Food was excellent prepared by great chefs. We ate at the bar and the bar tender, Mouse, provided the best hospitality. Thank you, Mouse.
His dinner recommendations were spot on.

Incredible food and service. Locally sourced food. Fantastic craft cocktails. I highly recommend the Brussels and sunchokes. Lamb chops cooked to perfection. Wonderful cheese board. Alex is delightful - and she recommended my new favorite wine! Great timing on courses. Lovely music and perfect gem in Northeast. Good place to dine solo or bring your date(s)!

Four of us went to Copita restaurant last night. My wife and I shared the brie in pastry appetizer and the artichoke appetizer. Both were delicious. The bread in roasted garlic olive oil was a special treat. We also had the duck breast over roasted corn risotto. The duck was cooked to perfection and very moist. The risotto soft but not overcooked and delicately seasoned. The roasted corn added a touch of sweetness. Hmm! The waiter suggested a red wine blend and it complemented the meal very well. Top shelf bar. Attentive wait staff. Excellent night out.

Wonderful meal in a quaint town. The halibut and risotto was phenomenal. Also had the spicy seafood cioppino which was also excellent. Very enjoyable meal.

Great experience so close to the National Park. Highly recommended for people visiting Acadia. Their service was top notch. Didn't have the time to taste their desserts. Would love to go back and try some day again.

We went out for a birthday dinner (5 people), drinks, food and Patrick ( our server) were excellent! I live locally and don’t usually order scallops or halibut out but they were exceptional!

Great food and drinks in a cozy atmosphere. The vegan options were excellent, especially the sunchokes and sprouts. Understand that restaraunts on the island are very understaffed, and Copita seemed no different. Yet, we all still enjoyed the experience. The waiter was very knowledgeable about all the local ingredients that were used throughout the meal.

Stopped by for a drink and a bite. Everything on the menu looked amazing and there was a great selection of wines and beers, and some great looking cocktails. We were served by pleasant and efficient waitstaff. We were served warm bread with our drinks and it was delicious. We’ll be back to try the food someday soon!

Amazing hidden gem off the beaten path. Found this place purely by luck as we were staying in Northeast Harbor to avoid the hustle of Bar Harbor. By far some of the best food I have ever had in a very unassuming setting. I was lucky enough to get a seat at the bar, but I would suggest a reservation. If you are in the area, well worth the 15 minute drive to dine here.

Freya, Mouse and team are an exceptional crew. The clever drinks are top-notch, and the food is phenomenal.

If you're a quick visit to the MDI area, it's a must-try. If you're in town for a few days - make friends with this bunch - very worth it.

I had a scallop app and halibut entree. Both were delicious and creative. Dessert was a tour with ganache, espresso creme and butterscotch. Again, delicious. The cocktails were also awesome.

It was so much fun to try a new restaurant in Northeast Harbor. Happy to say our meal and entire experience at Copita was excellent! We sat outside. The bartender made me a special non-alcoholic concoction which was delicious, and my dining companion enjoyed their tasty rum cocktail as well. We enjoyed the cheese plate, tuna niçoise salad, Sardinian dumplings and a lovely, super fresh halibut dish with lobster, wild risotto and lemon beurre blanc. The food and the service were fantastic. We will be back!

Such a hidden treasure in the Town of Mt. Desert - I’m not sure why they are not on Yelp but here is a happy diner’s review! It’s a place with a lot of unique items and I’m inspired by their specials and might try creating some mock tail drinks afterwards. They have summer truffles shipped from Italy that can be added to any dish. I’m also a big fan of their Aragosta, which comes with lobster, corn, and chef’s favorite local veggie that turns out to be an interesting discovery. :)

Enjoyed a wonderful meal, starting with the cheese plate, continuing on to their homemade pasta, and then finishing with a tasty chocolate cake. Service was extremely attentive and everyone very friendly. Highly recommend here, and their sister restaurant Havana.
